The first album is where they really shined with their obvious musical talent. Some of the best lyrical writing I've ever heard in this album. The instrumental work is beyond simple and just puts that smile on your face because you know how well it works together. They've never put on a dull show and I hope they continue to do what they do best. The whole band is an inspiration to me.

Someone agree... Alexisonfire are one of the very very few screamo acts that still show utterly unique originality; this was what hardcore music was meant to sound like.

Not all the 'core' shit we have today.

We need another band to come from nowhere and produce ultimate emotion and originality, and have amazing musical talent, like these young guys did; the whole album is outstanding

I just saw them in Sydney at Soundwave Festival. They only played Water Wings from the self-titled, they had 10 songs, from Watch Out! (Accidents, No Transitory, Happiness) Crisis (Drunks Lovers, Boild Frogs, We Are The Sound) Old Crows/Young Cardinals (Old Crows, Young Cardinals, Born And Raised).

Best set for 10 songs. i just wish they could do 12 with maybe Rough Hands and The Northern, or maybe Accept Crime
