  • I love Josh Dubovie. He is such a lovely person & very considerate of his fans. 2 years on from this video you need to see him perform LIVE. His performances are out of this world. Check him out via myspace or FB JOSH JAMES DUBOVIE OFFICIAL

  • I honestly like the Puma Hardchorus version better.

  • A very nice song!!!

  • british people :p

  • That sounds shit to me

  • pete waterman what happened dude?

  • puma hard chorus

  • If the producers stuck to this structure and just made it a more fuller sounding dance song with a bit more oomph, a bit more synths and bass, then it might have dented the top 15. The eventual version was just beyond rubbish.

  • wearing jeans???? wtf!

  • Personally, I like this song.

    *Murdered*

  • Fremdschämen. I am embarrassed for the UK.

  • finished at 10 points in the final, a job well done!

  • I sorta like this *hides under boulder*

  • Should have had September.

  • just a slow and cheesy version of scooch :\ And Im English

  • he's not a bad performer. and he's super cute.

  • The chorus bring this song down so bad that is impossible to know if the song had a chance. Here sounds good to me but in the real contest sounded like hell

  • The chorus bring this song down so bad that is impossible to know if the song had a chance.

  • people.. lets get it.. its a happy song.. i dont fault pete trying to bring some smiles to this.. we are so cynical in the last few years.. pop music is about escapism.. embrace it.. lets face it.. we all sing this song and its likes in our heads.. no denying.. its pure pop.. that Mike and Pete get.. still well into their later years...

  • They shouldn't have edited to that crappy piano instrumental! I love the instrumental! Gwoovy!

  • @MrsNatashaJonas The problem is, if ytou watch the live final and look at the performance, he does not sing this well, he bounces around like a fool and the backing singers are dreadfully out of tune. We came last because the performance on the night was bad. This song done well could easily have been... Top 15 perhaps. But the performance was bad on the night. VERY bad. Look it up, it makes you appreciate this version more.

  • Wow, so many people don't like this... I really liked it. I mean I despised the version they used for the final but this is good bar the backing singers.

  • No wonder we got 10 points!

  • he sang at a party i went to the other day, he is amazing, and he's so hot!!!

  • Is this a different version to the one sung in Oslo!?

  • @formulacountdown Dear god yes. THis is the GOOD version. THey camped it up for the final (obviously)

  • @sylictic No, I think this is the worse version. This version sounds like a strangled cat in the washing machine on spin-dry. The Eurovision one was much better and more catchy.

  • @formulacountdown .. Really? Every-one to their own I suppose, but if you listen to the live final it is MUCH worse... (I just want to put on record I actually REALLY love this song. :L I just felt like it hasn't been done enough justice)

  • @sylictic I second the bit in brackets, but if I had the choice between this and the eurovision one, I would pick the Eurovision one.

  • @formulacountdown Hmm... Well fair enough. ^_^

  • @sylictic Sorry, but to clarify: The performance at Oslo was awful but that version is better - that's what I'm trying to say.

  • @formulacountdown I still think this performance s better. :P The ending to Oslo's made me and my then girlfriend cringe and we decided we'd lose immediately. :L Like, properly last place. :P We won. :P

  • @formulacountdown Oh, sorry, 2 weeks later I read what I should read. :L Now see I love both versions. I like the intracacies.. .Intracasies... I dunno. THat word. That Josh puts into this version that got cut out of the Oslo version. Plus this is a bit lower and I dunno... I prefer this version but I love the 2nd version as well, so. :L

  • This song never ever came on the radio!

  • UK, what were u doing over there?

  • Thats sounds shit to me!

  • we always get the least best musicians in uk

  • I LOVE THAT SONG, ENGLAND MUST BE IN BETTER POSITION IN OSLO

  • Great song, great singer..... but unfortunately this is just what England does every year and they've failed again and again to realise that this is not what people vote for.

I seriously reckon if they made the simple change of getting him out of the suit this performance would have fared much better just by that alone.

Everything else aside, I want to say that the singer, Josh Dubovie, has really nice low notes. Can't sing high well, but his low notes are very good.

  • Great singer, bad song. :D

  • what a load of shite. once again, the UK makes another awful song. can't believe didn't learn the lessons from last year's entry. and why the fuck can't the UK let go and have some really attractive women instead of these crap boy bands all the time?

  • The hardchorus version is the best!

  • send in ndubz were win then lol

  • 10 points for this song

blue atleast got 100 this year

  • Awful song!! Yes eurovision is all politics but this song just gave all the countries even more incentive not to vote for us.

  • Love this song

  • @SummerStephensX

It would have failed in the 80s too. :)

  • why do i not remember this at all??! P.S He is cute :)

  • The only way they could have made this worse was to have had blue singing it.

  • Whos the blonde she fiiiiine as fook !

  • Wasn't he an Australian soap star in the eighties before this? :o/

  • Comment removed

  • Looks like a nice guy, really shit song though =/

  • this is a HORRIBLE song lol

  • the problem with this song is it hasn't got that much of a climax

  • 1445 dislikes- OUCH

  • I think hes a great singer and the song sounds good to me, something lacking in it though, not sure what.

  • That sounds shit to me.

  • He was fine, it was the backing singers who were out of key :S

  • he represented uk make no wonder we lost

  • last year germany cheated by sellin their song b4 thee eurovision so thee uk ave finally done that 2 hehee we r eviiiiil

  • @crystalgirl460

Uhm excuse me, thats not considered "cheating" cause its not against the rules. UK could have done the same thing, but theyre not smart enough. And the germanys song was only really well known in germany, and germany cant vote for their own country anyway.

  • xD this was just soooooooooo bad lmao XD

  • Anyone that watched this will know the whole thing was shocking. All the songs picked for the contestants was from the 80's. Total fail...

  • ...Words escape me. o.e

    That was just...EW.

At least we have Blue this year! ;D

  • Yeah....All I can say is 'that doesn't sound good to me..'

this song is ironic...no wonder this came in like dead last.

  • shivers. in a terrible way.

  • @mrkillstab Celine Dion is Canadian and she represented Switzerland before.

  • We should well send Susan Boyle up next year.

  • Dancing girls are merely polishing a turd...

  • It has nothing to do with the quality of a song if it enters, or doesnt enter the top 10 for example. It's all about the politics! And the bad taste of voters! ;)

  • This is just... shameful. Cock, this song is just simply so detached from the UK's actual songs, which can hold their own.

I am now of the opinion that the UK has resorted to trolling Eurovision.

  • Lack of talent has to resource to female sexual display...

  • I feel with Josh because he is a very likeable person and he hasn´t deserve to make the last place because the song wasn´t so bad I think the song was good but not special enough to make a good position

Heads high Great Britain this year with Blue will be a better place

    best of luck from Germany

  • I ACTUALLY CRINGED. <3

  • thumbs up if u think iron maiden should represent brittain!!?? get some british metal in this tacky competition :)

  • At least we never rickrolled Europe

  • I was embarassed when this came on. Kudos for Josh for actually sticking with the whole thing and being dedicated but come on they could have given him something more to work with not just a flimsy song that a toddler wrote.

  • let's get this straight. Josh dubovie sang his heart out... and all credit to him. We failed because pete waterman and co wrote an awful song.

  • This is possibly the most ironically named song of all time.

  • @nkvdcomradeberia Your comment made my day. Just wanted to say. :)

  • Well atleast he has a fantastic voice and he's quite good looking aswell!

  • Ok..... now it just sounds annoying :P

  • Sounds like Europop to me...who said Disco was dead?

  • c'mon people, this song ain't THAT bad...unfortunately, the version which was eventually sent to oslo sounded much, much worse¨!

  • ....this doesn't sound good to me

  • y does the uk pay to get to the final and then u waste it on shit acts like this guy?

  • wow look at the crowd at 3:05 :D :D GLORY DAYS ! :D LONG LIFE UK >> from morocco :) ur eternal supporters :)

  • jemini was good, this was the real winner of the contest ! people got really poor tastes ...

  • Ok song for me. I do have say, it is better than Cry Baby by Jemini

  • People are too harsh to the poor boy; he'll probably end up being the next Sugababe in a couple of years.

  • @TheDarkHippy93 i definitely agree ;X people got no taste :-)

  • Oh wow this was lame! :O

  • joshs successor as uk entry are the boyband blue

  • New news, i have JUST found out that boy band BLUE will be representing the UK with there song called " I CAN " which is being worked on at the moment, plus there is going to be a hour long documentary about the making of the song and them touring Europe with it. You will be able to hear it in APRIL.

  • niceee...niceee....good song

  • The dancers in the background are wearing really ugly clothes... it is really distracting.....

  • YOU BRINGING YOU SUNSHINE? COS IMMA BRING THE GOOD TIMES. :)

  • Our worst entry ever. Thanks for nothing Waterman!!

  • This version isnt as bad as the version they sent to eurovision and thats saying something! but apparently Charlotte Church is representing us this year with a song by Mika (that the public will choose!!)

  • the girls are damn hot xD

  • I like this as it's pure pop. It's an actual song, with a begining middle and end. You can also hear the words and it's catchy. I admit it wasn't very contemporary ie. boring.

  • stiil a nice song , a litle bit gay but ok

  • Get a life BBC!! If you aint gona take it serious - withdraw! Its our money you are wasting!

  • AHAHAHAHA!

  • I had to stop this half way through. Reminded me of Scooch ¬_¬.

Put some good ol' rock n roll up there, that'll get us the points! sheesh xD

  • gay

  • I voted for the UK. I really hoped it would win. But I knew it would finish last, because of its outdated genre. 25 years earlier, and it would have scored much higher.

I admit though that he would do an awful lot better without those dancers in the background.

But still I say - 12 points to UK from Sweden!!

  • this wasn't a bad song tbh, just the backing singers were SHIT

  • His voice is fine. It's the back up singers they're all over the place

  • why oh why cant they bring one direction into our place for a eurovision next year!!!

  • This is a great melody with lousy words and production...pity!

  • good looking lad, amazing voice, shit song :/

  • next year, we should just get somebody to do a cover song :/

  • @ryanleftyaspinall its a shame its against the rules :/ it would be better than any of the song writing we've come up with in recent years

  • he has a big nose...eww he's horrible

  • @andyzara01 Since when do you need a short nose to be a good singer ? Judge him on his singing skills not the way he looks. Or are you perfect enough to compare yourself to the most beautiful people in the world?

  • oh my god so awful

  • Yid Army did a better job on this...

  • God this is so awful.

  • it almost like this song was meant to have zero happening - low energy - pete waterman seem to but a bit of some beat box music and something from the 80's sang really slowy. How do you write a song this bad - it so funny - Pete must have sat down and said it's eurovision I need a cheesy - no tune song and I get a MONO -tone singer to sing it. IT GOT to high energy to win - I only checked this out from a newspaper how bad it was - it was car crash bad

  • look at it this way guys, eurovision has been around for over 50 years and western europe has been out of it for only about half a dozen or so..............remember the other 40 odd years when we fell about laughing at all the rubbish songs from the lands of far far away..............now its thier turn...............lol

  • Sorry UK. You usually have really great musicians. Just not in Eurovision.

  • It isn't the quality of the song that causes us problems - in the past we often won. It is our place in the political world we are being punished for. Maybe we need a new competition for western europe? Or at least a version which does not include Israel - it's not that I have any problem with Israel, it's just that when I was at school it was not in Europe....

  • Probably the weakest song we have ever chosen to represent us!! Why oh why cant we forward a song that at least has a decent chance of getting us into the top 10. Come on Great Britain,we are a country that has produced,The Beatles,Coldplay, Elton John and the Rolling Stones for goodness sake!

  • @london1st and Muse =P

  • @MitzTiemes

    mues are shit

  • @london1st I agree. I personally think Pete Waterman should be shot for crimes against music.

  • @london1st Don't forget Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Muse. If Muse had played Eurovision, the UK would have won for sure. The have the most epic live shows in existence.

  • @omnius19 Epic live shows? I am a big Muse fan, but at the concerts I have been to they have been very shy and restrained. The albums are epic, though. Pretty common for british bands: better music, but worse concerts than their American counterparts. At least, that has been my experience.

  • @htews Hmm that is odd. Maybe you saw a bad show? Muse is pretty widely known for having amazing live shows. They won the BRIT award and the MTV award for best live performance in 2005. When I saw them this year they were awesome.

  • @london1st Because then the vast majority of your fellows wouldn't be able to bitch 'It's all political', 'no one voted for us because we're the UK' But hey at least it was better than 2006, no matter who you send they will never be as horrible as Daz Simpson 'Teenage Life'. Bad lyrics, bad singing, (vomit inducing backup singers as 20-25 year old singer screech out trying to sound 12), bad choreography. And they thought (backstage) they were the next 'Brick in the Wall'

  • This original version was MUCH better than the retooled version that was performed at Eurovision in Oslo.

  • Why can't the UK put Kylie or Cheryl Cole or a big name for Eurovision? I mean, other countries can put artists huge in thier own country, so why can't the UK?

  • @groovemarcus because the main point of eurovision is putting an un know artist or artists who are just starting out on eurovision to represent their country.

  • @groovemarcus Kylie? You mean Kylie Minogue? She's Australian. That wouldn't be allowed seems as that's not in Europe it's in Oceania and it's a different country, only thing we really have in common with Australia is the same Queen.

  • @BillieVSAvril Celine Dion? She represented Switzerland and she's Canadian... it doesn't matter where your from. Katrina and the Waves won the contest in 1997 for the UK and that band had origins from North America.

  • @PripyatTV What I'm saying though is that I don't think anyone has done that for a few years now.

  • @groovemarcus what an good ideaa apart Kylie isnt english (: xxx

  • @groovemarcus Theres rules regarding record labels or recent releases (something like tha) meaning that big names cant appear. And with Kylie being Australian, we would struggle to send her anyway.

  • @groovemarcus Cheryl Cole? And her bad lipsynching?

  • @groovemarcus kylie isn't english?

  • @groovemarcus because they are scared if they loose their whole career goes down... so they get somebody that may have a chance to make it to the music world! just look at jade ewen; we came in 5th position and then she joined the sugababes... but they really should put a big singer that is brave enough to not care about the score and just do what they do best and maybe they will win!!! i haven't heard the song for this year (2011) but they say we will at least make it in the top 10...

  • @groovemarcus you have blue representing you... :) you'll be fine this year :)

  • @groovemarcus because these popstars have millions of fans in other countries, they're international. the other countries put their huge superstars because they aren't international. they're only in their own country succesfull^^

  • @groovemarcus Maybe he's the only one in England with his teeth in the right place?

  • @groovemarcus we got blue this year i think we could get near number 1

  • @TheJordan179 UK will not be no.1 it will be in the bottom 10 and I've not heard the Blue song, no seriously good singer in the UK will sing for Euro vision because the whole contest is just bull shit, it is just a popularity contest and the UK isn't popular.

  • @MegaRupertBear How is it a popularity contest? Lordi won it, if it was popularity then 'pop' songs would always win dumbass

  • @Justdoitnaow I'm not talking about whether 'pop' songs are popular, I mean if a country in itself is popular, eastern european countries vote for each other, same for baltic countries and Cyprus will always give Greece points, it doesnt have much to do with the song

  • @groovemarcus They can't have Kylie representing UK because she's australian.

  • Comment removed

  • @Lusjnie That’s irrelevant.. they have to be a citizen of their country... France had Jessy Matador last year who is African... Im pretty sure Kylie is a uk citizen

  • @groovemarcus -Blue good enough for you? I think the BBC have listened for once.

  • this song is horrible it has no rythm but british music in general is the best

  • Oh god... i honestly couldn't bare to look at the video...

  • great song , nice sound i like it to

  • This song is weird!

  • Just a thought......what the heck has happened to Mr.Dubovie....has he gone into hiding, along with Stock and Waterman. I haven't heard even a whisper ???

If you're reading this Josh, give my regards to Shayne Ward and Leon Jackson.

  • Maybe we could have more of a chance if someone like Girls Aloud did it? I'm not saying them in particular, but someone equally as famous? I'm not having a go at Josh, or anything, but what do you think? Who should do it for us in 2011?

  • of course it shouldnt of came last, its just typical tactical voting

  • That sounds BAD to me, and the girl dancers are just terrible.....this may not have deserved to come last but as a song for the whole of Europe,? come on.

No melody, no emotion, no chance - BTW I am not having a go at Josh he has got quite a good voice, but Pete Waterman should know better, as someone who conquered the world putting out annoying 3 minute pop songs,,,I dont think even he would have released this in the eighties..

  • i dont understand why we didnt just sing this version in the eurovision; its much more upbeat & people mostly vote for ubeat songs when it comes to eurovision; when we sang it in eurovision the turned the tempo down so it went from a a gooish song with a good beat/tempo/melody to with bad lyrics to a all riund bad song. but thats just my oppinion.

  • This song reminds me of christmas o__o'

It's so outdated and cheesy to me, so In my opinion, I think It deserved to come last.

  • this one had a better lead up to the final note.. we probably could have gotten away with four more points in oslo :P

  • love this song!

Thumpos it up if you agree!

    So should have one!=)

  • He should have less clothes on, because his looks is the only good thing about this song.

  • this song was ok, shouldnt have come last.

  • i prefer this version to the final version, should have just kept it this way. the other version sounds...well...just gay.

  • hm, if I listen first to "Kids In America" from Kim Wilde and then to this song, then I have sometimes a little deja-vu, e.g. from 0:43 in this song vs. 0:13 in K.I.A. watch?v=_m_Su_vL_cQ

  • this was a supercool song! Love you Josh!

  • yay hotties! dancing for a douche. ... i wish i had that :/ lol

  • il a fini dernier je crois non ? c'est pas juste la chanson est super

  • its ok dont think it should have come last though!!!!

  • One of the best titles after all.
