Kristy Cates performs The Wizard and I on ABC

I had the original cast of Wicked on Broadway come to my school last year to particpate in a all day workshop- it was absolutely amazing. Kristy Cates is a sweetheart. She preformed in a wicked show my school put together that night. You can tell she loves what she does, and none the less, is extremely talented.

I took a master class with Kristy. Not is she only hilarious and kind, but she takes her art to a new level. Three hours listening to her show how she does this was amazing. I soaked up everything she said.

Kristy Cates is so, so awesome. Watching her live on stage in Wicked was like watching a force of nature embody the character. It was amazing. Such a shame that they cut this performance short. Ugh.

Kristy came and did a musical theatre class at my college last week. I watched her sing the Wizard and I literally 15 feet in front of me. I almost cried.

Right after Nessa yells "it was Elphaba! IT was elphaba!" in her last appearance in the story, There is a short musical interlude that bridges to the next scene that includes that ball room dancing that you see
