  • Thank you !

  • im always in rush like a blizzard, where can i get a guide about meditation?

  • Since the feeling during meditation is so blissful I feel like meditating all the time. How can I stop procrastinating all my other duties and work overwhelming the rest of my life?

  • i'd rather jack off

  • i've always wanted to learn how to meditate. i think i know how to do it now

  • blah when you say dont do concious breathing thats the 1st thing i do :l..and on a completely different note..with all the talk of breath settling between your eyebrows, and cosmic energy makes me think of the thrid eye type of mind state..has there been any research relating the pineal gland and meditating??? because that would be VERY interesting.

  • @fivedollarsworth I'm reading DMT: The spirit molecule.. The relation of the pineal gland and meditation is talked about in chapter 3 and is what lead me here, learning about meditation

  • ........Coel

  • Awsome helps me from a headache or something I can't help

  • I love this video, it helps me a lot after a hard day at work.

  • @ZypherLockjaw Keep it up man, I know how you feel.

  • Just a question of curiosity.

What religion "focuses" mainly on meditation? I think it is Buddhism but i am not sure. I used focuses in quotes because many religions use meditation.

  • @Dersabom Buddhism, but i think that Buddhism can't be marked as a religion, because its knowning yourself....peace and love

  • @Dersabom yes buddhism...but jesus also did meditate but many relgions do not teach it...

  • love you!

  • No more thought...No more breath....This state is called...........Swag.

  • I just tried this. I don't think I did it exactly right, but I definitely felt weird. Weird, happy, and relaxed... And for some reason it sort of shocked me to open my eyes and leave the "trance". I'm so glad my friend told me about meditation recently. I've always been interested in the mind and what people call "paranormal" ever since I was a kid, but somehow I never tried anything like this. Now I wonder, why isn't everyone doing this???

  • Meditate a bit THEN FIX THE GODDANG AUDIO

  • I can't breath through my nose. what now

  • I farted, what should I do now?

  • @danagamer u crazy lol.

  • Twice before I have gotten to the point where my breath was quite shallow, and was almost in the meditative state, but I freaked out a bit from the fact that not breathing for extended amounts of time makes you dead.

I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any advice to get over that, or just to reassure me that it's perfectly safe to do. I know that is is fine, but it would be very helpful to hear it from other people.

  • @Temmy1212 You're body would breathe should i need to, you could never harm yourself by not breathing as its unconscious, it'd be like telling your heart to stop beating using your brain :)

  • For the first time I felt so much energy around me ... I just don't know why I didn't wanna keep going

  • same happens with me

  • I felt all the energy between my brows and somehow I felt like I was detached from my arms and legs.

  • thankyou

  • I feel exactly like he video shows but I get scared when my breathing really slows how can you live when your not breathing wont I pass out or pass away u know it may be stupid question

  • Now feel the energy of the earth and the energy of the universe meet in the center of yourself. You will then see how meditation can affect you. Hope I helped you guys. :)

  • As you exhale, pass away all the tension and eorries to earth. Give it all away. As you inhale, think of the energy you are taking from the earth. Feel the energy moving along your feet and legs, then through your spine, all the way to the top of yoir head. Think of your whole body filling with energy. Think of your breathing and pull the energy in the very center of yourself. Now focus on allowing the energy to flow from the universe to your entire body (that's what you see in the video).

  • I'll add a tip to this video. After you clear your thoughts, concentrate on the base of your spine, imagine it as a source of energy. After awhile, concentrate on your forehead. Imagine it as another source of energy. Now try to draw a line from your forehead to your spine. Feel the energy flowing. Imagine yourself as the center of the line of energy flowing. Try to extend the line to your legs and feet. Descend the line down the earth.

  • @MrCinnamonBones You should completely concentrate on your breathing. Whenever you notice you're thinking about something, immediately go back to your breathing. Do this for 10 minutes. You shoulb be able to get rid of your thoughts.

  • @GameAlot1231 that's exactly what I was thinking x)

  • This helped allot

  • supreme meditation

There is no passion, there is serenity

There is no chaos, there is harmony

There is no death...there is the force :P

  • dont see how u cud dislike this!

  • Would Diaphramatic Breathing for five mins be more effective after five mins of Meditation?

  • how do i get rid of all my thoughts? i always think while i'm doing this.. :(

  • Can I use my headphones ? Would that help if I do ?

  • @gaxiola55 No. It would make it worse. It must be silent with no disturbance. However, if you can manage to ignore music completely (which is hard) you can try. It is easier to ignore a pleasant melody than all the shouting, cars and other outter noises. But you should try to find a place as peaceful as possible.

  • I feel like i can left everything behind me.

  • oh lovely

  • i wanna do this. i have trouble sleeping it friggin sucks -___-

  • Meditating Like a Boss!

  • MysticSensitive has a bunch of meditation videos on her channel. Fire meditation, meditation chimes, etc. She really helped me so I thought I'd spread the word. She even sent private messages back and forth with me to give me guidance and she's helping my little mean streak. lol.

  • I am usually a pretty manly man guy I was in the U.S army for 4 years as a 25B. I watch football, GO giants and saints! i love first person shooters. but this removes all of those things and shows me who i truly am, behind all the veils, masks, guises. Many people make ignorant comments, maybe as an act of reaching out for attention. I find meditation to be not only relaxing, but focusing and calming. maybe i need to turn off my mind more often and just feel with the soul. much love to you all!

  • @ZypherLockjaw pffffffffttahahahahahahhahahhahahahhahahhahahahah like what the hell??? hahahahahah

  • @9393DJCobra are u 10 or something

  • @ZypherLockjaw pffffffffttahahahaahahahah like what the hell??? hahahahahah

  • @ZypherLockjaw pffffffffttahahahaahahahah like what the hell???

  • @ZypherLockjaw hey man cool that you can talk that open

    greetings same thing to me

  • Wait. So if I don't breathe or have any thoughts- isn't that the same as being kinda dead? lol just saying :)

  • Well now I know I wont be able to enter a thoughtless state. Because whenever I get close I'll start thinking about the blue beam thats about to shoot into my head.

  • Sunny is funny

  • i mean lower

  • my low spine was burning what does this mean

  • @andrewusa14

    your unfit..

  • Excellent. Thank you

  • I just tried this for around 25 mins, I didn't really get anywhere but I'll try again tomorrow. Does anyone know of an alternative to the sitting down position? I have a bad back and it makes it difficult to relax! thanks

  • @TheSludgeMan I got a bad back too, smoke some weed and sit on the couch

  • @TheSludgeMan

i tried meditating first time when i was laid down about to sleep..and never felt anything like it... felt like i had a full body orgasm sort of thing lol. i havent tried sitting down... i was high though :L

  • Does this help with depression

  • @eshaNjay1 It did for me

  • I have a panic disorder and I want to know if meditation will help?

  • @TheGuitargod80 Yes, it can be a really good help! But what the problem really is with you, is that your mind (!) is creating anxiety and anxious thoughts. If you are not able to still and observe your mind, it is possible to have a anxiety attack while your meditating because you identify with these thoughts. I would suggest to have a go at meditation and just OBSERVE your thoughts, don't think about 'em. As said in the video, no-thought state is the meditative state.

    *Namaste*

  • @TheGuitargod80

I, too have a disorder but not a panic disorder. I have an anxiety disorder and I find meditation very helpful. Because anxiety is very similar to a panic disorder, these thoughts run through your mind. Meditation has helped reduce the panic and anxiety in my mind. I feel so good afterwards like I just got back to reality from a ride in the sky or another world. I recommend it, i think you should really try!

  • @bradleyjames4evahot I have anxiety/panic attacks and SP and i HATE taking klonopin to help, but yea medation has helped me too

  • @mrgaberoberts believe that you already are there, that you always have been 'there'..here, and this is where you belong.. the thought state has just aroused your potential to experience no-thought with gratitude... and you are slowly becoming aware of the limitless implications/experience this entails (maybe? i sometimes try to focus on gratitude for the freely given universe until that gratitude becomes my being)

  • I have something called trichotillomania, where my anxiety is channeled through me feeling the need to pull out my hair, strand by strand. It leaves big bald spots that take forever to grow back, so I need another way to channel my stress and anxiety and this is definitely it. The only thing is, it's nearly impossible for me to get to the no thought state, because I keep thinking about getting there. Anyone got any suggestions?

  • @mrgaberoberts I have had trichotillomania for a long time. It's been over 20 years of struggle with my bald spot. Recently, my doctor prescribed Zoloft. WOW!!!! It works and I no longer have that urge. Amazing. Maybe I can try TM, too.

  • This is great, my new years resolution is to meditate more

  • @KeyLimePie43 Me too! I got some scented candles for this purpose.

  • @sunnyisfunny this helped me so much thank you so much

  • This actually works. Or at least I feel much calmer right now. I've had a lot of stress lately so I wanted to try meditation to relax.

  • do i have to be naked

  • @Vkrispies Nah! You dont have to be naked and dont deal in these cosmic stuff.

  • @Vkrispies not only do you have to be naked, but if you're a guy you have to hold your crotch in your hands

  • @Vkrispies Not only naked.but you also need Buddha to hold your testicles and squeeze them while you meditate

  • no because it looks like he/she it has cancer not in the bad way still

  • @Vkrispies Being naked significantly helps reduce the friction between you and your meditation. So while not necessary it is HIGHLY Recommended!

  • This is something I need. I'm following Buddhism teaching now, and I want to do this to the end of my life, got a book "the Art of Meditation" must read it in free time. Got to start practicing with Meditation for me the only thing is how to enter this state of mind or should I say No Mind (like Osho mentioned in his wise words). Peace with Buddha.

  • i am a free thinker , i just need to meditation to clam my mind.

  • @PragmaticOptimist You just gotta let go, don't fear thinking about nothing.

  • @TheBlueJayFeather Just let go man, don't fear not thinking about everything you have to deal with on a regular basis, just let go, relax and you'll get it.

  • I have MAJOR trouble tuning everything out and focusing any tips ?

  • @TheBlueJayFeather

practice. that's all you can do.

  • One question. If you are thoughtless how do you exit the state you are in

  • Yeah but in my forehead rather than my chest :)

  • The main problem I have is clearing my thoughts. I think my brain is way too active. I think of something, then I start to think of not thinking, then I realize that I'm actually thinking about not thinking, which means that I'm thinking, and the cycle continues lol. Any tips anyone? Maybe it's just a general concentration problem I have?

  • @PragmaticOptimist I always try to concentrate on my breathing. As soon as my mind begins to drift, I focus on my breathing. The in and out of it is quite soothing. It takes practice, but you will get to it soon enough. Most importantly though, don't beat yourself up about your mind wondering, just re-focus as soon as you realize you have drifted, and before you know it, your drifting thoughts will become less and less with each meditation.

  • @jljones0140 Thanks!!

  • Did anybody else get a tingling sensation in the chest and kinda feel like they were inflating... (No I'm not high :L)

  • I don't think I meditated..I think I fell asleep

  • @MrY3110w That's kind of what it feels like. :) Which means you did a good job!!

  • I am studying to be a scientist. Be careful of video's claiming truths without evidence, like in this video "the more we meditate the more cosmic energy we receive".

Bizarre statement yet it is spoken as truth. Its bad philosophy at best.

I tend to steer away from the mystical/magical side of meditation and i find it hard to seperate the two sometimes.

I practice vapassana meditation with doesnt require any belief in mysticism, gods, chakras etc in order to get the practice off the ground.

  • @KinkMail thanks buddy i will look into it. i can see the benefits of meditation and i too don't need any other things besides it.

  • @powermikertje No problem dude. Here's a little video from one of my heroes Sam Harris PHD in Neuroscience. He talks of his experience practicing vipassana: Type "Insight Into Practicing Meditation with Sam Harris" into youtube search if you ever have a few minutes spare.

    Good luck dude.

  • @KinkMail thanks Kink much appreciated :D

  • Did anyone else notice the naked guy?!

  • i tried this late at night and i feel asleep

  • "Don't let breathing be conscious" ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? How am i supposed to forget that i am breathing....Geez...

  • @MrVirtualCoder dont forget that you are breathing, just let the body do that, you dont have to say to brain im going to inhale now, that will just happen, so you dont have to think about it at all, that is the meaning..

  • @surcinzakon Oh. I tried it while i was really tired, and it felt great. Actually, almost fell asleep. I also tried it this morning, however i did it while sitting. This time i could feel my body becoming heavy, very heavy in fact. And that my heart almost stopped pumping blood through my body(that was at least what i felt.)

Please let me know if this is common when meditating..

Also, another question, "keep your head clear" how am i supposed to stop thinking? Foolish question...

  • @MrVirtualCoder Why? Do you have to 'remember' to breathe otherwise? Breathing happens by itself, however you can be conscious of your breathing should you choose so.

  • I totally get what this video is saying, when you breathe in and out for a while, you really start to feel a sort of fuzziness in between your eyebrows. Then your mind and thoughts become a bit clearer.

  • Ive tried a couple of times and I noticed that its very difficult to not swallow saliva during metitation,I mean,I swallow of course but that distracts me a lot and I cant keep going, anybody has the same problem?

  • Perhaps meditation is a whole lot easier when you eat a clean vegan diet(fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds, bread, grains).

When you eat things other than what's in a clean vegan diet, it causes you disease. Diseases like ADD can cause you to figit often, which is opposite of what meditation wants you to do.

The goal of meditation is to sit still and clear the thoughts. If you gain awareness through fasting and the vegan diet, perhaps you are better able to clear the thoughts.

  • What is the point of this

  • I hate how my body starts to rock with my heart beat, when i feel that no breathing thing its like my brain is trying to go somewhere else and its scary :{

  • NOT BREATHING?! R U CRAZY?!

  • You can meditate in a box, you can meditate with a fox. You can meditate here or there, you can meditate in a chair. You can meditate anywhere.

  • @ubiquitousrevolt hahahaha good one

  • it's the perfect posture, there are three postures : simple, perfect and lotus posture, the most hard thing here is how to feel yin and yan energy and then how to project it from your hands

  • Wow this video makes it sound like you will get instant results lol. Achieving the state of completely controlling your mind and body takes years. I have been doing it almost everyday for six years, the first year I finally got my thoughts cleared but not entirely yet.

  • @kane001 That's because you have the wrong conception of yourself the body and the mind are the same thing.

  • I often become breathless and thoughtless... I call it the Stella effect lol

  • OMG OMG OMG THIS IS AWESOME:

    1. HOLD UR BREATH FOR 10 MINS

    2. DIE

    3.?

    4. Meditation profit

  • i know an instant effect raise one ur arms ,hold ur breath for a moment imagine their's something moving between ur palms by going left right left right.and its true keep going and soon after a few minutes u can feel numbness revolving around ur hand.uwil feel awesome trust me and do that at a vertical position will sitting anywhere best is sofa

  • damn it I was almost there till 4:06. That part of the song had me dying laughing

  • Buddhist meditation will be the most egoistic method of spirituality, foolishly the Buddha talked about the harms of egoism, but how egoistic would be then to meditate in our higher self ? And how egoistic will be to try to reach GOD by ourselves ? " But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:6)

  • @Jimlead You don't get it do you? I am you, you are me, you are everything. It's not egotistic in the slightest bit.

  • @lagging199527 We all belong to our holy father. But we cannot reach him. It is very egoistic to think so. Prayer would be the right word. Ask him and you shall receive. Have a nice day.

  • @Jimlead Prayer originally was meditation. The Christians perverted it to what it is today.

  • @lagging199527 True dat brotha! Read Matthew 6:22!!!

  • @lagging199527 Where is this mentioned ? When you pray, you speak to GOD. When you meditate you are supposed to find GOD and that he speaks to you. But I would say that what is not given to you, do not try to steal it. Meditation is mentioned otherwise in the new testament "(Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed." (Lucas 2:35) It is more like a dialogue with ourselves to conclude on our actions.

  • @Jimlead You're saying that god is unreachable but prayer is an exception?

  • @BlackSabotage100 GOD is ureachable, but GOD listens. Its like your father, ask him for a gift or an advice and he will know what is best for his child. But the child himself cannot be his father since he has not and will never have the experience and the wisdom to face reality and the world. A child cannot have more experience than his father.Matt 6.6But whenever you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.

  • @lagging199527 What a wonderfully nasty comment that would offend over 2 billion people on such a lovely video. This is a shared space, with people of all faiths here, maybe you should understand the true essence of Christianity and not judge the actions of Christians. God bless.

  • @lagging199527 liar, U know nothing meditation is prayer!

  • @lagging199527 really tell me how that happened? seeing as though jesus christ himself mediated, and that even ancient organized denominations such as the orthodox church practice meditation and hesychsym. and even the bible verse itself "be still and know i am God, and christ telling his disciples to walk in there closet close it. theres two hebrew words for meditation saga and higa and they are used alot in the old testament.meditation is mentioned 15 times in the psalms.

  • @lagging199527 pt 2 so i dont know where you got that idea, even though christianity grew rampant in the west, it is at its root a system from the east. lol i dont know how you can pervert meditation because only a few christians meditate as the word says and few even know what it is. but as far as heychysm which is taught to eoc's and the ethiopians and orientals(which i am not apart of) meditation is taught in those churches.

  • @lagging199527

Prayer is a form of meditation and an accompaniment to it. I think you should research it a bit and stop being a dick.

  • @lagging199527 - we are inherently perverse people. For this, I apologize.

  • I sometimes don't breathe for a while without meditating for a few minutes lol weird...

  • What do I do with all of this cosmic energy?

  • WAIT! I JUST NOTICE SOMETHING DONT WE MEDITATE WHEN WE SLEEP?

  • @CashFlamez No you can have sense in dreams meditation links you to thoughts.

  • I fucking passed out!

  • @The50centlova Happens...

  • wilsonnuttermeaningoflife.blogspot.com

  • @benwilsonpodcasts i sleep everyday i came here to know about meditation...

  • Trying to get into meditation. I am not a Buddhist, but I am a Protestant (christian). I however try to take some of the advice used in Buddhism. I feel that this will help multiply my focus, and mental flexibility.

  • @iMilkSH4K3 I'm a Christian too, and what's amazing is Christian Mysticism. It's wonderful and the essence of the Christian faith. I hope it helps. God bless :)

(Oh, and research St. Theresa of Avila) :)

  • @iMilkSH4K3 I'm a Christian too (a very strong one at that) and I'm certainly not trying to become a Buddhist, but I am interest in having less anxiety and more power over my thought life as promised to us in the Bible. This video was interesting. I'm gonna try it & see.

  • forcefield!

  • @fifa1079 The trick is to not think about not thinking..

  • I do the breathing thing; but i find counting to 3 after inhaling then counting to 3 after exhaling helps.

  • Cool

  • i was afraid it was going to pop up

  • I have made my own meditation music!!

    youtube: TheNewageworldmusic

  • is that a boy or a girl

  • @MrUlysses9 to tell ya the truth bro it looks like a bald Adriana Lima

  • I tried this sort of meditation before but could not get into it... always had some difficulty with meditation. Even binural beats and things like that didn't quite do it for me. But I found something new called "bliss code".. Sounds a bit silly and I was sceptical.. But man....it actually works on me... like almost instantly too.. I think this guy is onto something and that bliss code is the next big thing.. Check if you want: watch?v=S0_y1BCWpOo

  • @manjot1 vipassana meditation concentrates on breathing

  • should i be conured that sometimes i dont have any thouts
