Kind of odd they cut out the extra violent scenes in the more recent versions. Some people seem to think it's a very violent film when it's really not, it's not like the uncut version of robocop in where I can see them cutting out some of the violence, even though I prefer the unedited stuff.

Thumb eye poke = remember kiddies do not try this at home. It's actually a good way of killing an attacker. All you need to do is grasp the side of their face & wriggle your thumb around in the eye socket. This move will kill someone fairly fast & effectively, as noted by martial artists. The reason behind it is because the brains frontal lobe is near the forehead.
That snapping sound right when he's shoving his thumbs into his eye-sockets is a very nice touch. The version I saw, the "Director's Cut" only shows the owl, and no explicit violence like this. ):

I think so cause it shows Batty takes no pleasure in commiting murder and that he actually expresses remorse for his actions like in the elevator shortly afterwards, you can see a tear down his right eye. Before the final cut came out the scene made Roy look like a monster in my opinion.

Well, you have Warner Bros. to thank for that. They didn't think people were smart enough to get it back in '82, so they foisted it on us. That's part of the reason the movie bombed.
i do agree that in places of the movie you may not understand whats going on, but only it as certain times. but they could of come with a better way of reparing that than what they did.
I saw her...but I liked this role a little better. Elle Driver was a tough villainess to like in that movie...and I've got a feeing Beatrix is probably gonna be seeing more of her later if they make vol. 3 of Kill Bill.

- Tyrell's death is not only uncensored, but also has more sound to it near the end.
- Pris slaps Deckard's head twice and pulls his noce just like in this clip. I think there's more reaction from Deckard as he tried to kill Pris with the three shots.
is very interesting, i never seen those images i suppose in december everebody will enjoy of all the deleted and special scenes in the super dvd that warner bros is preparing....
I always hate when Pris gets killed it's like watching somebody kick a puppy lol

Weird thing is I saw this all one time as a kid when my parents rented it on video.
Than years later I bought the (directors cut) dvd and kept thinking about how I could have sword there was more violence at these parts.
AND I WAS RIGHT. :D
