@robinquinc329 Hmm where was this? See this version makes the song cool I think, but only this version. It actually gives the song some punch, but your story is pretty telling. If the punchline of the song alienates the crowd, something's definitely off.

@breaks0 I think just the fact that it people found out that it was Debbie Gibson. She was seen as a teeny bopper ,not a serious dance artist. And people started yelling "OMG! It's Debbie Gibson" and stopped dancing!
