  • @Mrwarrenlwebber I agree, especially under our current government.

  • 666 likes :P

  • Money's Grip

  • music ruins it

  • These are nothing compared to Batman's Tumbler

  • Ford is way beter then that junk nissan, who copy Toyota!!i drove a lot of Fords,i like it,they are strong and i think good build too.talking about F 250.drove chevy too, that is garbage.anyway best truck build toyota land cruiser 76,78,79,105 series. that ford engine is 7,3L made by IH.now own by Case.

  • Jeep comes from the short form GP which stands for general purpose. It was coined by the US military when the vehicle was first developed as an all purpose light duty military vehicle during WW2. It is not originally a word from iceland

  • thats funny, i dont remember any Jeeps in this video at all and yet the title specifically says Jeep in it.

  • @killaqueen15 "Jeep" is taken from the Icelandic word "jeppi" meaning "off-roader" or "4x4". It's stupid but that's what these companies call them.

  • @killaqueen15 in some countries, they don't have the term "SUV", they call SUVS: "Jeep"

  • where cn i get one

  • HAHA at 3:10 i thought they were going to come out of the ocean or lake whatever it is

  • as long as you know where to cross its all cool.....still love arctic trucks..

  • very cool. Me next. me next!

  • I love how Europeans do it. American lift trucks are mostly body lifts full of rust and used tractor tires with several cases of empty beer in the back.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX Yeah, rusty old trucks that can go anywhere, and beer to boot!!! Dude stop stereotyping lol!

  • @brentsrx7 Yeah, then it ends up being in backyard for a month awaiting repair. Not even a stereotype. Just facts.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX That's funny, but its still a stereotype. lol

  • @brentsrx7 A stereotype is based on truth involving the entire population of specific interest. Yes, it's still a truth. You're right.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX Ok, Ok, you got me.... These guys in Iceland build the trucks to be used daily, as a business, not a hobby. If you compare American (companies) out west who do canyon tours, or park patrol vehicles, they are built with the utmost professionalism. And honestly, most of the guys I know who lift their trucks for honest to god trail running take pride in their trucks. I think you are confusing "mudding/ being a hick", and people who enjoy off road.

  • @brentsrx7 You obviously do not know how it works over there. When I lived in Italy and Germany, lifted trucks had similar professionalism demonstrated in the video. They are clean, not beat up, and ultimately reliable. This is a very rare sight in America.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX Huh, you seem to have a very negative generalized view of American off road enthusiasts, that is a shame. I would recommend watching some hill climbing competitions. I have also spent quite some time about the continent and have seen some very nicely cared for/ modified trucks. you need to understand that American trucks are rare, and can be difficult to find parts for, ext. Many entry level "mudders" buy an old truck for a grand and beat on it for fun.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX As I can tell, in northern and central Europe, owning a huge American truck is expensive and rare so they do tend to take care of them. No offense, but I would also recommend you go to a truck meet and ask about reliability/ build quality/ after market parts. The other difference is in how they are used. People who partake in mudding beat the shit out of their trucks because its a hobby. The people i know who "off road" tend to take pride in their trucks.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX Once again, you seem to be mixing up various uses. Its a shame that you have gained such a poor appreciation for the many hard working passionate off road truckers in the US. I assume you have seen a few nasty mudders and remembered that to be the norm. If you ask any long time hobbyist or professional overseas, they would probably have a great deal of respect for the quality and quantity of well built trucks in the US.

  • @brentsrx7 You seem to think I know nothing about American off-roading. I'm actually quite knowledgeable and have a kind of famous truck. No, I don't just see FEW nasty trucks and assume it is the norm. I'm a logical man. If I see many, repeated things then that is the norm. I won't look at one nasty truck and think it's the norm. I don't give a shit about your overglorified opinion on American trucking. The norm is actually shitty trucks lifted without being regeared.

  • @brentsrx7 Oh, also, owning a huge American truck is not expensive in Europe. We just don't buy American trucks because they suck when it comes to off-roading. Why don't you watch Top Gear some more? They even tell you they suck for off-roading.

  • @QuicksilverdotFX idk you ever watch that episode with the blue Chevy

  • awesome!

  • Yes, it is a 7.3, but even if it was the smaller 5.4, it probably wouldn't get stuck: there is no way that these trucks haven't been re-geared, which would make the biggest difference.

  • how deep is the water they are goin through

  • Anyone with 4x4 could do this

  • @TheXSgtDaveX Then you go do it

  • @TheXSgtDaveX Then you go do it. Bet you couldn't

  • Europeans classify all off roaders/ SUV as JEEP particularly the brits so don't be confused when they call these gorgeous trucks as jeeps...

  • i really wanna know what motor is in that excursion. cant be a 5.4L it would get stuck. its between the 7.3L

  • @StouffvilleRider1984 the excursion has 7.3 and the nissan has a 3.0 both diesel

  • @StouffvilleRider1984 actually, the 7.3 weighs much more than the 5.4. because of that extra weight it would sink more in the snow and become stuck more easilly. So the 5.4 would be the better choice (in my opinion). Thats why the old Toyota pickups, jeeps and suzukis are great offroad when lightly modified in the right places. Because they are small and light. You don't need big power/torque if your floating on top :)

  • i didnt see any JEEP !!!!

  • Sick video!!!! Man, if gas prices weren't so high I'd go out and purchase one.

  • Very niiice...

  • what an amazing career that would be, i bet you any money it started off as two friends with off roading monsters that decided, hey..we live in a beautiful place and we have vehicles that can go places in this amazing landscape not many people can get to..let's make those fuckers pay to see it how we see it!

  • i wish that was my job... takin people round in my truck goin offroadin!!!

  • where the jeep i only see toyota an ford

  • @tompoe1977 Like Xerox and Jetski, some names have just become generic. Including Jeep I suppose.

  • @tompoe1977 *nissan

  • @tompoe1977 that a nissan not a toyota and "jeep" has become a generic term like jetski

  • MAN, that looks really cool, i guess on my 2013 vacation i might try this. that looks really badass. plus the song goes with it perfectly.

  • i knew it would make it its a ford

  • Nissan say's: Move your big american butt.. and keep up..

Ford say's: God damned sushi... yo! wait up..

  • This has to be one of the best jobs in the world.

  • what ford is that ?

  • @Downhillmaniac4ever that is a Ford Excursion

  • @Downhillmaniac4ever its a ford excursion, probably never see them in Italy, but in Texas you see them about every other day

  • @CRF150EXPERT u do know ford is irish right ;)

  • @coolgames14 I hope your being sarcastic

  • @CRF150EXPERT well, half and half, ford is US, but henry ford is irish xD

  • @coolgames14 so, Everyone in America comes from a different country, if you think about it America is full of immigrants, its not like Europe. Either way that was over 100 years ago and Ford is definitely American.

  • @CRF150EXPERT america is a country of immigrant, what are u talkin about

  • @coolgames14 If you look into it, nearly everyone in the US is a descendant from another country, whether they are from South America, Africa, Europe... or came here in the 1600's,1700's,1800's,1900's. Many people have immigrated here and made inventions, those inventions are American. Im sorry but you trying to be clever saying Ford is Irish really just makes you seem ignorant, and either way Henry Ford was born in Michigan making him American.

  • @CRF150EXPERT lol i'll said he's american but the thing is he's irish ;) hahah

  • @coolgames14 I dont understand your point, and no you never said he was American

  • i can't figure out how the ford truck could had gone trough all that water whithout a snorkel......

  • @mpr330cd its a ford..it can do anything

  • @mpr330cd because the snorkel gives air to the engine, and the grill wasnt under water therefore thats why it stayed alive... for the time being

  • @LucasBenge Yes, i'know what snorkels are for... but the ford truck (the grey one) has not one of them!!

If you look at 0:40 the water arrives at the ford's bonnet level; i'm pretty sure it's the ford's one because the bonnet is grey, not white and without the side to side black stripe that is on the nissan one. The front grill had to be completely underwater in that scene.....

  • thats badass!! 21 liberals dislike

  • i luv dis vid, nice work :)

  • Super Jeep is a car rental....on iceland

  • i love how in the name of the video it says "SUPER JEEP" but there's not one jeep in it

  • OMG! The

    Excursion is SICK!

  • i see fords in the vid but ne one els get a gmc ad on the side showes ya who is better (GMC/CHEV for life)

  • MFW in iceland if you can't see just floor it.

  • id like to know what all is done to the excursion its bad ass got some good ideas for mine

  • *gets a taxi trip by them knocks driver out and gets a awesome ride*

  • this makes me want to become a taxi driver

  • How much petrol do they use?

  • these things are baddass, they look great for snow and mud. theyre nothing like a ford or a nissan,i bet thyre almost as custom as a monster truck, but still that is fuckin sweet

  • Super !!

  • Is that a freakin nissan pathfinder!?

  • @acesoftrul3z nope...nissan patrol, just one of the most capable 4x4's made

  • sign says impassable....excursion and nissan say MY ASS

  • yay mini van free world

  • Fucking sick

  • ILL TAKE THE NISSAN PATROL

  • ILL TAKE THE FORD

  • what kind of tires they used ? I want like these tires the width is so good for soft surfaces. I think these tires 44" in excursion but is there the same idea of these tires with under 40" tall ?

  • my bicycle can do that too.

  • awesome

  • Im supriesed the tranny on the ford didnt blow

  • That Nissan Patrol is Awesome!!!

  • 21.mars 2011. the gallon of patrol in Iceland is roughly 7.50$. (227krona per liter) I would like to know MPG or l/100km

  • what kind of tires are you running? You don't get problems from eco-friendly activists

  • nice view

  • I don't see any suburbans doing this. hmhmhmhmhm. i wonder why!!!!!

  • Cool look at chadwick1472 videos pretty good 4wheeling

  • look cooler haha i mean still sick but tad more i think wouldnt be bad

  • BEST....JOB.....EVER

  • Now thats a taxi ride i'd happily pay for.

  • i think the excursion could be lifted little more but stilll veryyy niceeeeeee

  • @TheFreakyfixed87

Why on earth does it need more lift? lol? do you know anything about Artic Trucks?

  • and i thought my YJ JEEP was capable!!! Sheesh!!!

  • That must be the cushiest ride ever!

  • People that dislike this need to grow some balls or tune into lifetime

  • @LHUSTLER1 im gonna hit it because of the fucking gay ass music.

  • If you notice the white suv has a snorkle on it.The excursion might be a diesel not sure which will run under water as long as the air intake is above the water The gasser its just a matter of waterproofing the ignition system .

  • How can they go under water like that? Do you need an upgrade or do the engines just do that? I know my Jeep engine cant do shit with water on it. even though it is an old one...

  • when they ford the river, wouldn't the cold water crack the warm engine block?

  • @asulca593 Engine blocks are only maybe a few hundred degrees F externally at the most. For Iron to crack due to rapid cooling it would need to be heated to thousands of degrees, red or white and then suddenly cooled in cold water. But even then it might not crack just become more brittle and prone to cracking.

  • @asulca593 There are no cases that I know of where the engine block crack by going into water like that. The bigger problem is not to get any water inside the air intake, if that happend and water gets into the engine, the engine is fucked and you are stop. Thats why the white Nissan Patrol has this snorkle. When fording a river you realy need to know where your engine air intake is. You also have to watch out that the computer for the engine doesn´t get wet, in most cars it´s inside the car.

  • amazing patrol and xcursion

  • if the water was warm, I could do that in my NCF Blitz2 buggy!

  • Красота!. Бесподобное сочетание картинки и звука. Давно знал, что надо побывать в Исландии, теперь убедился наверняка.

  • Silly video!! Stupid music. Maximum speed. This is not icelandic nature

  • @frilli53 yes it is, its on some glasier or how ever the fu*k you spell it, ísland ftw :D

  • what's the maximum payload for tires in water that makes the truck swimm?

    8000lbs !!

  • Красотища.

  • Dear Santa,

  • The Excursion is only there for when then Nissan gets stuck ladies... (I have a diesel Excursion and I also own a Nissan... Both are great vehicles, but let's face it girls - That 9000 pound Excursion is going to do the heavy lifting when required).

  • did you notice how the white truck has a small spare tire on its back it doesnt match the rest of the tire hence making it useless , should use the space for a spare gas tank ,,No?

  • @deadz74 i think it's for that outher car since it dosnt have a wheel in the back ,,no?

  • @deadz74 The box for the tire at the back has been modified into a box, if you look closely you can see the lid.

  • @deadz74 This is not a spare tire. This is storage for ropes and other components.

  • we call all 4x4 as a jeep

    in saudi arabia

  • @abooodi320

    In Poland is the same

  • General Purpose vehicle=GP=Jeep=Jeppi

  • guys music name pleeeeeeeeez

  • Fuck monster trucks...

  • that would be and awsome job

  • ok i definitely want to do that tour before i die

  • I'm sorry but I don't see nothing extreme about this off-road course. Scenery was nice, other than that you should find a tougher terrain spots for more of a challenge.

  • That was badass. I wonder how much those tires cost.

  • @dmooreQX4 somewhere around 1.000-1.200$

  • @dmooreQX4 Somewhere around 1.000-1.200$ each

  • Comment removed

  • @freakstyle2030 no its a nissan, it even says on the grill
