You know what i like most bout this song, Novembers Doom is Doom Metal, Doom Metal is a genre based on death and well, doom. These guys make a song, yet another doom track, and it goes about birth and finding new life, quite te oposite and it friggin works perfectly.

The Sins of Thy Beloved, Draconian, Swallow the Sun, Katatonia, Funeral, Skepticism and Shape of Despair.

I never understood why people think emotional punk rock is metal (shortened emo) the genre says it all... Oh look up the bands Rapturized mentioned, they are good too.

For the longest time I dismissed Novembers Doom as being a sort of pigeon-holed goth band. Being a fan of more American sounding Doom and Sludge I hadn't given this band a fair chance at all and I'm truly sorry for that. This is a solid song. In fact, I've now listened to quite a few songs and I've come to the conclusion that while not sounding like the usual genres I listen to (Sludge, US Doom, Grindcore, Black Metal) this is still a fantastic fucking band. Keep up the good fucking work guys!

2. This song is about my daughter.

3. "Heavens" is a commonly used term in astrology to describe the Infiniti of space. Not everything written is as it seems. Search the deeper meaning in the words & they may have an entirely new meaning to you.
