  • an extra $15 for a custom rack, thats awesome

  • Yeah I was the first one they contacted and wanted to send me one for free, I really had no interest in putting it up so I declined then a month later I saw they gave one to other people on here lol.

  • Jeff... Come out of the closet. hahaha jk nice vids man

  • Hey jeff,

for a storage lock thats cool, but check out the Mossberg "loc-box", its much more child/bugler proof and it takes just seconds to access!! I have this lock for my Mossberg 500 and its wonderful! keep up the good work!

  • Pete made me love the rack, you made me hate it.lol Better now than after I bought it...thanks for that.

  • im not old enought to own a pistol yet but what pistol would u recommend i buy sence i never shot a really gun before

  • Jesus f-ing christ why is every gun-related stuff so overpriced on the USA?

It's well designed and not made in china (i guess) but you're still paying 80 bucks for a sheet of steel, a few screws and a lock...

  • we want to see your secret closet !!! the one you didnt show in your house tour !!

  • I know you wanted to say you mounted a katana

  • hey jeff just a friendly tip, if you leave that gun loaded you can mess up the spring in your mag and it wont feed if the time ever comes that you need it.

  • I forgot, with you selling and buying stuff.. What guns do you currently own?

  • Good thinking, Jeff. My neighbor, a police officer, on a burglary task force was following 2 suspects. The burglars were brothers, the cops had pretty good intel on them with no reason the believe that they would be armed. Police finally witnessed them commit a burglary and confronted them. They didn't know one brother found a .45 caliber handgun in the house. A shootout transpired, my neighbor was shot. He returned fire killing one brother but then succumbed to his wounds.

  • I don't really get the point of the rack? Why don't you just lock the gun in your gunsafe, when you go out?

  • I knew it would be cool, it's like the inside pocket of a house

  • -I have a surprise for you guy's in my utility closet

    - A vacuum cleaner?!

  • man you could survive in that closet for days...you might never come out!

  • Jeff, I'd love to see a gun collection update. I know a while back you sold some of your guns for health reasons, but I see that you still have quite a few. Wouldn't mind an update

  • Jeff ..first off let me say that I enjoy watching all your knife, gear, prepping and gun videos. I didn't read all of the comments posted for this video so I apologize if someone else mentioned this already. You may have already seen this but check this "safe" out. Shotlok.com It may be a better option.

  • @ironlungdtoker ur just jealous of jeff cause he's got badass guns n knives and cool hobbies. And you sir sound like a total douche.

  • that would that a rober 2 minutes to rip off the wall , locks only stop honest people

  • lol you talk shit about cannabis but u leave guns laying around your home , thank god youll never have kids or a wife

  • If you wanted to make it a safer rack you might be able to find a C clamp shaped piece of metal that you could lock and place betwen the fore end and the chamber to prevent the fore-end from being racked without unlocking...would require a separate key and you'd have to find something to do it tho

  • I would really appreciate it if you took a better look at the .17 HMR!!! I promise you won't be disappointed!!!

  • For home defense do you feel the sub compact single stack glock is the best choice? Not trolling but wouldn't just like a compact double stack be just fine?

  • @mathnerdm Your question is formatted poorly, no one is going to have an answer for you. At least not the answer you want. Reformat your question and put more thought into it before hitting the post comment button. Also, you may get a better response with a private message? Just some friendly advice. Take care

  • @billyshob No its not. You cant predict every home invasion scenario nor can you effectively have a different pistol for each. But for home defense when you have a pistol some where in your house when somebody breaks in, its not that general and CAN be answered properly. My question was if you'd want to be limited to a short sight radius and 6 round,or a longer sight radius and 10 rounds. You trying to say that cant be answered obviously? We can play hypotheticals all day or just think about it

  • @mathnerdm A gun, with bullets is the best home defence choice. The rest is preference.

  • fireproof box review, light one on fire!

  • when in doubt rub it out, right jeff

  • I'm honesty not trying to be an ass or paranoid but why would you put this on YouTube? Who's to say one of your "viewers" won't try and rob you? Just curious...

  • @oTruffles Because people with guns generally don't get robbed :P

  • @oTruffles Stating that you aren't trying to be an ass or paranoid shows you have doubts about whether or not you are truly being paranoid or an ass. To answer your question, it's his channel I am guessing he would say. I am guessing he would also say that since it is his channel, he can upload whatever video he chooses. Just curious do you even know if anyone knows any pertinent information in order to rob Jeff? Probably not, and he probably doesn't either so you have to take risks.

  • Nice rack, Jeff.

  • Those weird looking screws just look like Allen screws. So you would just need a Allen key.

  • I think the lock is stupid, because if you don't keep the key in there you will have to look for the key when you really need to use it if someone comes in. But if you keep the key in there you will be able to get it out faster in an emergency situation but if you get robbed people can take your gun. So the lock is a Win Loss on both.

  • For shotguns, check out shotlock, can't be beat for sped of deployment in the night IMO.

It doesn't hurt that my key combo is the same as my gunvault for my bedside pistol (used to get to my shotgun). Nice to just remember one-4-digit sequence in the middle of the night.

  • Also, with the shotlock, I can also keep my shotgun loaded, safety off (condition 0), with my 4 kids in the house.

  • Being shot with my own mossberg would probably put more than a frown on my face, if I had a face left ='(

  • you could put a little piece of round steel in the key hole to turn it faster

  • I just stick my 12 under my mattress

  • I mounted my girl friend in a vertical position last night

  • @TheDenver12311 lmao

  • @TheDenver12311 Oh yeah? cool story bro...

  • @TheDenver12311 I mounted my boyfriend.

  • @TheDenver12311 That must'v been awkward to do...

  • you should put a tap light in there so u can see in the dark if u need it

  • What do you have loaded in it?

    00 buckshot?

  • just keep the gun in my closet in a gun safe... my girl friend and i both can get to the gun easy enough if something was happening

  • gotta find a video on this gun

  • I have the same shotgun. It is a good one

  • what if you welded the key to a drill bit and then fiddle around with a power drill?

  • its called a Robertson head i believe and a lot of things (in Canada at least) use it

  • @cutlerylover do you use slugs or Buck shot for home defense?

  • Mah favorite shotgun!

  • Jeff I hope sometime soon you do another shooting video. We really liked those videos you made shooting that evil roy target in the field.

  • yo man talk about pot sometime

    love the vids

  • You and Pete have similar taste! Ridgeback Racks, mossberg shotguns, and carry a glock 36!

  • Cool rack. On a side note - cutlerylover why does my zippo run out of fluid when I only use it a couple times? Is the fluid evaporating on me?

  • @HiCapMag2012 yes

  • lol! that square bit is called a "robertson" its a canadian invention and just as common as a phillips up here in the great white north.

  • Jeff could you reply to my inbox? xD

  • Thats sick!

  • a lock that keeps honest people honest

  • TacVac review coming soon!

  • name your videos "surprise video" or something like that.

  • ''Anywhere, in my house I can get to my firearm within 5 seconds'' daam thats badass

  • Ever see any bears eat your trash up there?

  • That bit is call a Robertson, it is not a security bit, it was invented by a canadian, which is why America doesn't us it. It is the best driver style because it doesn't strip very easy.

    U learn something new everyday!

  • thats called a robertson drive bit. its a canadian invention that allows you to use it with one hand. it also provides a more strip proof surface. they are fairly common here in canada, and im pretty sure they use them in decks in the states.

  • nice jeff

  • pistol grip shotguns are...not very easy to shoot accuratly..

  • In a house with kids you could still use it in the same role as you Jeff just perhaps higher up out of reach. Depends on kid age/size

  • thank you for an honest review of these gun racks. these are great for displaying your guns but thats it. i had only seen these things a couple times before and these guys were saying that there gonna mount there shotguns on them or whatever and that these would be great for your home defense set up. give me a break. I have no problem with people getting free shit and doing reviews. but when people constantly get free stuff and only have nothing but good things to say. Its bull

  • Got that shotgun for christmas!

  • I do watch Peres videos and he has two now. One for the AR and one for the Mossburg.

  • Ridgeback must be giving out freebees. pete at Armory got one too. Smart marketing.

  • @avalon449 Pete got his weeks ago, if you watched his videos you would know that the video today is his second...

  • @cutlerylover he didnt say anything about when he got it.

  • LOL!

  • CUTLERYLOVER RESPOND TO THIS AND I WILL LOVE YOU

  • @123ruls Hey...

  • what kind of pump action shotgun is that? is that a mossberg?

  • @98thardus yes model 500

  • What do you load it with... (Usually)

  • @J88Wolf winchester bonded slugs

  • That is not an uncommon screwdriver bit, lol.

  • @Zigosity living in America I have only seen it one other time i9n my life, a philips or flat head screw is common this is not...where I live...

  • @cutlerylover i live in canada and robertson(square) bit is by far the most commonly used here

  • @Zigosity yes it is. ive never seen them in my life.

  • dude do the weed video

  • How do you break down on the highway when you don't have a car?

  • @gzachary9941 my friends car broke down I was using

  • You pretty much confirmed my thoughts on that rack...

  • @WeaponsOnTheWebone one of the points of a review glad it helped

  • Good idea Jeff. Unfortunately in MA, if someone breaks in and gets your gun, anything he does with your gun is your fault.

  • Great video

  • Remington is way better come on son

  • love my Mossy 500. great video thanks.

  • more gun vids please!!!

  • 'I MOUNTED the gun rack in a vertically position'

  • Awsome vid...finally back to regularly schedualed program.

  • Oh that's pretty much the exact gun I have lol I love it!

  • you could hacksaw a little bit off the bolt to cut down the time it takes to put the lock on and not have to worry about the "slop" issue.

  • Hey, that looks like the toilet paper they use in government offices... So, can you spare a square?

  • hey bro can you make more vids about guns?

  • Deffinately not the best application for this locking display rack, but a really useful item !

  • holy crap dude you keep sayin youre broke and i wonder why, you got like a grand worth of emergency food in there

  • @tronclay thats not why Im broke

  • robertson head screws (square head) are a very very common screw bro, just about every joe smo should have one, kinda shocked me you wouldnt have one...

  • yes excited for the new vlog even though you broke down

  • You call Robertson head screws funky? That's like the national screw of Canada. Screw you Jeff (pun obviously intended).

  • @mexistache760 lol I also use inches as a measurement , nah nah nah poo poo, lmao

  • Great video, Jeff.

It's great seeing a gun on video again, like the old times.

  • has anyone played Hitman blood money where he stores his guns and he takes guns off and it leaves the silhouette of it, i think that's where they got the idea

i'de but every kind and turn my basement into the same as the one like number 7 has........ what a good idea

  • @sonofchcknorris number 47 you mean. ;o)

  • i own the same model. hows the kick?

  • @101booty not bad at all

  • @cutlerylover If you turn on transcribe audio the first two sentences it gives you say "there were terrorists i want to show you with the union"

  • Do u have a safe? If so what kind. Just wondering

  • @11123dude I have a gun locker locked in a closet in a locked room

  • @cutlerylover should have some fire protection :)

  • Is that a tactical vacuum????

  • @WezleyB most definatly

  • @cutlerylover O_o

  • @masterprepper Pete posted a video on his AR one a while ago thats was sparked my interest in them, his video today was his second rack

  • We have the same vacuum :p

  • @11danzizzle11 you sir have good taste...lol but that vacuum definatly sucks...big time

  • @cutlerylover Hah it was on sale, so we bought it :p

    It defiantly sucks ;)

  • idk man 30 seconds is way to long for me man, put it loaded in a safe in your room. 10 seconds max deployment time. ( for me anyways)

  • @TheTater1984 my safe takes 60 seconds to access I dont keep loaded guns in there its not going to help me much

  • This might be a silly question but if it was loaded with one on the chamber will the trigger be able to be pulled in that position?

  • @ArtisanTony yes with or without one in the chamber wont effect the trigger position much on this shotgun

  • @cutlerylover But where is the trigger in relation to the lock? It looks like it is hanging on the trigger :)

  • @ArtisanTony the pressure is on the trigger guard just by the shape, but I understand what you mean

  • @cutlerylover I guess I can't see in the dark :) It looks like it is hanging on the trigger which could be hazardous :)

  • @ArtisanTony for my purpose it wouldn't matter for others it might

  • based on what you said, why not just put it in your safe when you leave your house? it's much more secure there. guess when you get it for free from the company you have to justify hanging it up to make a video for them

  • @TheLoopmeister My safe is not easy to get to, its locked and is behind 2 other locks, this is more convienant to use this way

  • @cutlerylover Ok, that makes sense. still seems like a waste of money for the purpose you're using it for, but i can totally see it being used to showcase a nice firearm

  • these are deffinatly to display nice firearms. not to place a weapon for quick easy acsess

  • "I MAWN-TED" lol'd hard

  • That's a nice rack you got there Jeff.

  • @egomaster12 thanks not as pump and full as when I weighed 330, but there still ok

  • Jeff, please respond. What is going on? Will there be more pipe videos? Thanks.

  • @Pointburn Maybe, we'll see.

  • @Pointburn Jeff has made one or two videos about that, check his channel instead of wasting his time.

  • @fedoraguy13 Stop wasting MY time. I saw them but he didn't say anything if there would be any.

  • Under 300 club.

  • @DefensorsPacis 300 widgets?

  • Jeff I agree with u that people who post what # of comment they are. It just gets annoying and they are asses
