i have watched this gazzilion times. i remember my professor ask if i was from scotland because of the accent i inherited from this movie. I was 15 at that time, new in U.S coming from the Philippines.
The railway station is Corrour, in the middle of Rannoch Moor. The most pointless and remote train station ever shat on the rail network. There isnt even a road connection to it. Just a dirt track that leads to some hunting lodge. Busier and more vital stations have closed in the past yet a business case is found for this little turd pile.
