I still can't believe that, after so many years, people still try to diss Québec. The first Europeans to settle in Canada were the French. It is a historic fact and nothing can be done to change that. Later, yes, Canada was under British rule and the immigration of English-speaking people boosted.

One has to deal with it: Canada is a multicultural country, Québec has a peculiar culture and speaks French. One should respect the differences. Anglophones should respect Francophones and vice-versa.
