  • He's like Romney- zero principles and will say absolutely anything to get elected. Even if it means going around apologising profusely for your past policy positions, regardless of whether they helped people or not.

  • Tim Pawlenty is really disappointing. He is not a "conservative" himself. He governs a state with the 2nd highest income taxes in the Midwest Region. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins both have centre-right voting records and fit well in the Republican Party, they would be too far to the right in the Democrat Party.

  • "The national survey by Public Policy Polling shows Obama leading Pawlenty 50 percent to 30 percent." Haha!

  • If Pawlenty ran against Obama in 2012, I'd be surprised if Pawlenty even gets over 150 electoral votes. He's a younger, dumber McCain. If Repubs run Sarah Palin, she won't even get 100 electoral votes. Obama is unbeatable in 2012. And thank Christ for that!

  • Mitt Romney will beat him easily.

  • gop dumb

  • They should call Pawlenty "the dodger" for never answering a question.

He supported the Bush bailouts, now suddenly he's against bailouts? What??

  • Avoid the Republican approach: Saying things like 'Read my lips. No new taxes!' . . .

    just before you raise taxes.

  • Step 1 - Get the economy moving again so that unemployment can drop back to 4%.

Step 2 - Once everyone is prosperous, ask even the richest of the super-rich to stop all the illegal and immoral tax shelters and pay their fair share.

Remember to follow Bill Clinton's example and don't raise taxes on ordinary Americans who earn less than $250,000 a year (or it maybe it should be $400,000 now, the wealthiest 1%).

  • The Republican agenda--cutting taxes for billionaires--actually means HIGHER taxes for all of the non-billionaires. Especially middle-class families!

As Warren Buffet says, why are corporate CEOs paying a lower tax rate than their own secretaries???

  • I think Pawlenty is being pretty clear.

If you're pro-choice, if you're for affordable health insurance, if you're for asking the super-rich to pay their fair share of taxes so we can pay off the national debt, if you're a moderate Republican and disagree with the right-wing extremists who have taken over the GOP . . .

get out of the Republican party.

  • Still awaiting election results... have a notion these out-there right-wingers who THINK the nation is on their side, will find only fifteen percent or so are eating up their droppings. The rest have some vestigial common sense that only surfaces when they're in the voting booth.

  • Oh! this is hilarious.

Newt is a party guy to him its political, He just wants to see the players as D's or R's same with MSNBC and DEMSRAPIDRESPONSE.

Pawlenty, Won this argument and you posted it.

It is not about D's or R's its a Conservative Independent FTW.

  • How the hell could he have "won" this argument?? He didn't ANSWER the DAMN questions!!!!

If the GOP thinks they're going to attract Independents with their WACK JOB extremist Teabagger BS...they're not only a joke but delusional as well! Rational people don't react well to psychos!

  • Can't convince you, your so far in the tank anyone who has a voice or thought of there own is a "Wack Job" or "Tea bagger" do you want to talk Ideas or policys or just denigrate people who disagree, Remember this Rational people don't react well to psychos!

  • I don't have a problem talking to rational people, but here lately I have yet to find too many Republicans that qualify.

The simple fact that you can watch this video of a former GOP Rep hammer a current GOP governor about the current state of the GOP party & he refuses to actually answer what is so blatantly obvious to anyone who is sane AND you think he "won" -pretty much prove my point.

btw, did you know Pawlenty voted FOR the "W" bailout? So by his own definition, is he still a Republican?

  • Minimum threshold for a Republican: an IQ of 2

  • Have the squirrels gotten politically organized? I keep hearing about this acorn organization which apparently the Republicans hate.

  • Keep moving to the right. It has worked for you so far.

    LOL
