  • Of have sent you videos on this and the TWO laws are not what you say but the Oral teachings of the Rabbis vs. the Law 'instructions" of the written Torah 5 books of Moses. God's word does not come against itself

  • There is no vs. in your title. This is a common SDA teaching and is not correct. ALL of Torah IS The Instructions of YHWH.

  • The Law abiding believers in Yahoshua who have the true love of God in their hearts are they who are saved from their sins (crimes). HalleluYaH Praise YaH forever and ever. It's a shame that the Christians don't believe in it like they should. The Law of God is beautiful because Love fulfills all of the Law. Don't steal = Love, Don't lie = Love, Keep the Sabbath for revival until the Glory appears and everyone is healed = Love, protect the orphans, visit the widows in their afflictions, etc...

  • @yahokobbenyah Also, committing adultery is NOT love. Fornication is not love. Homosexuality is not love. Enabling sin is not love. Remarriage is not love.

But people claim to do all of these things in the name of love.

We must love like God and hate like God. We must define good and evil according to God's definition.

  • @TrustinJC Yeah, you are very correct! God does hate people i.e. the wicked, a lot of people do not realize this Truth but it's in the scriptures. Christians say to love the sinner but hate the sin but sinners are sin (wicked). That's why God sent His Son Jesus to deliver us out of our wickedness to become the righteousness of God in Him by the work of the Holy Spirit. However, God does love everyone especially the true believers but the wicked he despises. The HAARP is the dragon in Revelation.

  • God spoke through the mouth of Moses the prophet. This means the Law of God is the Law of Moses, for they are one. Don't lie = Love, Don't steal = Love, Don't murder = Love, tithe to the orphans; the widows; the sojourners, and the Levites = Love, all of Moses Law is summed up in one word Love because they are one Law originally from God. Even water baptism is under the Law, it's Loving to outwardly be cleansed to show witness unto God in front of men of the inner cleansing that God did for us.

  • You should really state verses to back up your insertions.

  • I know this to be true because i am a sinner and have done many things wrong and still don't have it all right and probably never will but he continues to open his doors to me and he continues to bless my family and answer our prayers and every day i strive to learn more and to be better for him and that's what matters.....Thank you May Yahweh bless

  • well i have been studying and praying i see and understand that we aren't suppose to divorce and we are stuck with whatever path we get but i can't help but think the one's that are condemed for it are the ones that are repeat offenders and remarry cheat remarry cheat along with all other kinds of sexual sin this is why i said Yahweh searches the heart he know's if you are a true aduterous at heart just as he know's who loves him and who is false...

  • @Childofpraise2Yahweh I understand that divorce and remarriage is one of the most difficult tests for Christians. This is especially true for those who marry and divorce young. Even more so when they do it as a non-believer, as I did. When they come to Christ and are reborn after a divorce there is a tendancy to want to say things that happened as a non-believer can't be held against us. But scripture does not support this idea.

    Con't

  • @Childofpraise Pt 2 Keep in mind that the homosexual can use the same arguements as the people in your scenerios. Why would God care who we love? Why would God care about our sexual preferance? Doesn't God want us to be happy? Doesn't God want all children to have two parents?

You see how easy it is to justify our sin?

It comes down to what someone loves more. Do they love the world and what it offers (remarriage) or do they love God with all their heart.

  • ok well adultery stands for cheating correct? So what about family's that become broken with out much choice i gave a list of other things that cause divorce

so if adultry isn't the reason a family broke up but rather worse than that

has happened to them. Cheating is only one issue amongst others So do they not get another chance to share their love? Even tho they weren't the one's that ended or ruined the marriage? how come they have to live alone?

    Thank you for your time

  • @Childofpraise2Yahweh You've listed some examples that you think should over ride the command of Christ because the examples tug at your emotins and possibly personal desires. But Christ gave gave no exceptions. The catholic church has tried to circumvent the comand by creating the annulment. But this is from satan.

If you think the examples you give are unfair, consider the time in which Jesus lived.

    con't

  • @Childofpraise Pt 2 In today's culture, we chose the person we will marry. Any mistake we make, therefore, is entirely our fault. But such was not the case in the time of Jesus. Parents arranged the majority of marriages and were often done for the parents selfish reasons. But remarriage after divorce was still a sin.

Given this fact, who do you think would have the better excuse for remarriage? I think it's clear that the arranged marriage has the better excuse for when things go bad.

  • @TrustinJC

ahh no again not what i meant i mean teeenagers today that get married say 16yrs of age

and get divorced or seperated that were married as teens due to being forced by their parents

or just allowed by their parents in texas you can marry at 14 with parent consent im asking

what abot the marriages allowed by parents.. my sistter told me you not held accountable until

21 but your parents are so i wondered about this

  • @Childofpraise2Yahweh This is the very kind of thing I mentioned took place in the time of Christ. The marriages were arranged. And sometimes, people were married at the age of 16. But the examples of teen marriages that you give taking place today are simply the result of parent simply allowing the wishes of their children to be fulfilled. The parents simply do nothing to block the marriage. So I don't see why this would be an acceptable exception when it wasn't in the time of Christ.

  • @TrustinJC

No thats not what i was saying i was asking if the same law applies sense he referring to cheating a sexual act against your partner isn't that what adultrey is? I was showing example's that tear marriges apart that aren't sexual acts wondering if they are considered the same and how? btw what does Con't mean?

  • well i need some info on what family's do that have been abandoned? Or their spouse changed and turned abusive, or turned from Yahweh, or hurt their children, or threatened death against their own family...What about family's that w,ere and are left for dead? Until a good man come's along? what about young people allowed to marry and one gives up? I mean what about these people? what about children that beg their 1 parent for a mom or dad? Isn't this why Yahweh searches the heart?

  • @Childofpraise2Yahweh I'm not sure what you are really asking. Are you asking about exceptions to remarriage? If so, Christ does not mention exceptions. He does, however, explain about remaining single in the form of his teaching of enuchs. Some are born enuchs, some made, and some chose to be made enuchs. This is refering to being unmarried.

In the case of divorce, this is the person who is made into a enuch.

I have a video on this topic. But I suggest watching videos by DanielJohn2300.

  • Thank you for this much needed video.

  • Those that think that they can obey only a part of Law of Moses (this is what Paul is speaking of) are under a CURSE: "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of Yahuah, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith." Law of Yahuah: Love Yahuah....love thy neighbor as thyself.

    777denny

  • Thank you for the explanations. A question though, why aren't we observing all the 10 commandments? Can you please explain for example why it is allowed to work on the Sabbath day, while it was clearly in the 10 commandments? Thanks

  • @humanity65 The reason it's not observed is because of pagan influence and the corruption that was in the church beginning a little after 208 AD. The ten commandments are the only part of scripture that was actually writen by God. It is this law that Jesus was refering to when he said nothing would be erased from it.

I personally try to keep the 7th day Sabbath. I work 5 days a week and try to do as little as possible on Sat. I don't shop, do laundry, bank or other things that I would like to

  • @TrustinJC Thank u for your response! Can u explain about "manservant" or "maidservant?" I don't mean any disrespect, but I would've expected for God to be against keeping servants, as the way it was practiced then was more like slavery. People actually kept their servants like slaves. Moses provides laws as to who to keep as slaves (holding superiority of Israelites over gentiles). I support Paul's action ending mosaic law/opening religion to gentiles. Sorry, again, I don't mean disrespect.

  • Very helpful thank you

  • Nowhere does scripture say that their are two laws. Actually the terms 'Law of God' and the 'Law of Moses' are used interchangeably in Scripture: Ezra 7:6-10, Nehemiah 8:1,8,18, and 2 Chronicles 31:3 makes it clear that the Law of God says we must make burnt offering: "The king contributed from his own possessions for the morning and evening burnt offerings and for the burnt offerings on the Sabbaths, New Moons and appointed feasts as written in the Law of the LORD"

  • "When the time of their purification according to the Law of Moses had been completed, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord (as it is written in the Law of the Lord, “Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord”), and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: “a pair of doves or two young pigeons.” -- Luke 2:22-24

  • Nice explanation, So would you consider the Sabbath Commandment is the law of God and shall be honored how Jesus did and everyone holy? Do you honor Sabbath?

  • @babkame yes

  • @TrustinJC So do we, its nice to hear Godly people also following his commandmants. God Bless!

  • @ElShadaiLives My message didn't show for some reason.

    Read Hebrews 10.

  • You took the words right out of my mouth here, great video, Lavern!

  • @ilove2draw1 in Jesus name.

  • great job

  • @ TrustinJC

I would rather say "The law of the Jews (not all 613) vs The law of the Gentiles" which all are from God but Jews are to keep more laws since they were intrusted with very world of God... laws such as circumcision + clean & unclean food + fasting + ritual washing +++ many more !

PS: Jew = Jew who believe in Jesus

  • @JCYTT1I3777 - Going by what you said, Jews and Gentiles being different. What about these? Num 15:13 All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

Num 15:14 And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.

  • @JCYTT1I3777 - cont... Num 15:15 One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.

Num 15:16 One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

  • @sparkshot Good remark & question ! Before the time of Jesus they were alien not native born who lived among the Israelites but God made no distinction between them because they were under the same covenant the old covenant so they were no longer aliens but Jews as a native born... sorry for not make it clear that when I talk about Jews is those who were under the old covenant native born or not it has nothing to do with bloodline remember what God said "You yourself were alien in Egypt"

  • @sparkshot Concerning Galatians it is the same thing with the holy trinity each member of the body of Chirst has different function but they all make 1 body the same goes with husband & wife they both have different functions but both make 1 in the eyes of God + Paul himself said first for the Jew than for the Gentile + he said have you been called a Jew you should not become a Gentile and have you been called a gentile you should not become a Jew. but all the children of God make 1 in Christ !

  • @ TrustinJC

Thanks for bringing up this important topic often misunderstood among Chrisitians with different interpretations till today which divides the church even today as it was at the time of Paul & the apostles...

  • @ TrustinJC

Paul meant that Jews have their own law given in the torah + Jesus teachings & Gentiles have to follow the apostles instructions Paul & Peter & James...

Jesus never differentiate between laws... Jesus preached to Jews only & Paul preached to gentiles so that is why different laws were set to the jews & gentiles... Jesus never respond to keep the 10 commandments but only enumerated some of the 10 commandments ... God always differentiate Jews form Gentiles both have their own law

  • @JCYTT1I3777 Jesus did not restrict his teaching to the Jews only. They were his main focus, but Gentiles were certainly in the multitudes and he did go to places where there were many Gentiles. The message had to be offered to the Jews first, and then to the Gentiles after the Jews rejected him. Paul preached to the Jews as well. His main focus, however, was to the Gentile. In Mark 10, Jesus clearly defines the 10 commandments as being a must.

  • @JCYTT1I3777 Pt 2 In Mark 7:27 Jesus explains: "First I should feed the children - my own family, the Jews".

So his meesage was for the Jew first, and later for the Gentile. We also see Jesus encounter the Samaritan woman at the well, followed by the towns people coming to see him. So he did preach to Gentiles.

  • @TrustinJC Jesus' entire ministry is for the jews only, Jesus is the Jewish messiah not messiah of the world ??? His message was for the Jews only by quoting old testament scriptures that gentiles don't have any clue what he is talking about even jews failed to understand his radical message... so preaching to gentiles would have been useless... The samaritans are not gentiles but rather a different sect of judaism as they were many at the time they believe in a messiah + holy scriptures

  • @JCYTT1I3777 Not true. There was one Gospel for both Jew and Gentile. The Good news Gospel is about the Kingdom of God - what it is, and what we must do to enter it. That is his entire ministry. And what he taught is passed on to both Jew and Gentile. Everything Jesus taught is meant for both Jew and Gentile. Do you seriously think that when the apostles taught about Jesus, they didn't also teach what came from the mouth of the son of God?

  • @TrustinJC of course they did but not everything... TrustinJC it is clear reading the New Testament that there is a distinction between Jews and Gentiles who believe in Jesus that is why it was hard for Paul & the apostles to be an agreement as to what laws Gentiles have to follow so the apostles set the laws to the gentiles not Jesus nor god the Father and God accepted them as Gentiles by following the apostles instructions then we are told they receive the holy spirit as the jews have !

  • @TrustinJC No he did not preach to gentiles it would have been useless they don't believe in the God of Israel so what is the point ??? The ressurection was the turning point so Paul was intrusted to bring the gentiles to worship the God of Israel by what Jesus did on the cross, the cross is the focus in all of Paul's letters and Yes gentiles came to Jesus because of his miraculous healings & power which no one could have denied at his time not even his ennemies not to hear what he had to say...

  • @JCYTT1I3777 What Jesus did on the cross is only half the story. His ministry is the other half. and having only one will not gain you entry. Believing in Christ means you believe what he taught, you obey his commands, and you live like he lived.

  • @TrustinJC He only quoted the last 6 commandments or if you prefer the second tablet only does that mean the first 4 aren't important ??? of course not as I said before the 10 commandments are only a summary not the main commandments nor the more important one nor the laws written in everyone's heart since the 2 most important commandments are not part of the 10

  • @JCYTT1I3777 By quoting the commandments that he did, it is obvious Jesus was refering to ALL of the ten commandments. It is foolish to think that because Jesus did not list ALL of the commandments that this then means those left out are no longer important.

So what laws than are written on our hearts? I maintain that it is God's moral law, which includes the 10 commandments and the other commandments laid out by Christ and the apostles.

  • @TrustinJC I understand & respect your point of view that many other Christians also share but I disagree with that point of view for me the 10 commandments are not more important than any other law you quoted very often in your videos"we are to live by every word that comes out of the mouth of God"the quote says everything breaking the least of the commandments will lead us to hell + for me Jews (bloodline or not) have their own law set by God and Gentiles have their own law set by the apostles

  • @ TrustinJC

I disagree ! Moses never added to the law, God granted divorce even Jesus granted divorce for unchastety... everything written in the torah is from God and there is no 2 sets of law, no such thing as the law of Moses all laws are God's laws !!! The 10 commandments are only a summary not superior or more important than any other commandment remember that the 2 greatest commandments are not in the 10 commandments...

  • @JCYTT1I3777 So when we are told that God's law is written on every heart, you interpret that to mean the 613 ordinances and the knowledge and need for blood sacrifice? If you don't believe this to be what is written on every heart, then it means there is another law that is written on our hearts. Also, the only law actually written by the actual hand of God is the 10 commandments.

  • @TrustinJC No I don't mean that the law written in our heart are the 613 commandments but rather the laws that Paul & the apostles set to the Gentiles which are written in the act of the apostles & in Paul's letters... + Yes God only wrote the 10 commandments on 2 tablets but what is the difference we don't have the two tablets and we still read all 10 in the torah as any other laws + by your argument does that mean homosexuality is not a law condemned in our heart since it is not part of the 10

  • @JCYTT1I3777 The 10 commandments are distinctly different form the the rest of the law of Moses, as it was writen by the actual hand of God. These laws were/are moral laws. Or another way to look at it, spiritual laws. The law of Moses contained mostly ritual laws, or laws designed to keep the carnal in check. Sodomy (Homosexuality) is mentioned by the 12 apostles in the Didache. And we are instructed that men should not lie with men as they do with women.

  • @JCYTT1I3777 - I'm starting to think this post I'm quoting is the more true interpretation, due to my studies.

  • "under the Law" does not mean observing the Law. It means being condemned by the Law. Sinners are under the Law because they are sinners. When we cease being sinners, we are no longer under the Law, because instead of disobeying the Law, we are obeying it. While the Law of God is not just the Law of Moses, you are wrong in pushing the two away from each other. The Law of Moses is a part of the Law of God. To reject the Law of Moses is to reject part of the Law of God.

  • @carlsonap16 not all people who reject the Law of Moses are not saved, because God judges based on the knowledge of accountability and light revealed to each person.

  • @carlsonap16 I agree with the first part in your comment. I've said thew same thing. It is sinners who remain under the law while someone who is no longer under the law is someone that the law no longer has power to entice them to sin. But the other part is backwards. Gods law does not include the law of Moses, but rather the law of Moses contains the law of God. Rejecting the law of Moses does not mean we reject the law of God, because Moses added to the law.

    Con't

  • @TrustinJC Pt 2 Moses, for example, added that a man could give his wife a rite of divorce. But Jesus tells us this was not of God. Also, we no longer need to give blood sacrifices because Christ was the final blood sacrifice. So the purpose of the law of Moses has been fullfilled. But the law of God remains and is written on every heart. That which God wrote with His own finger remains, and will never be errased.

  • @TrustinJC Jesus didn't say this wasn't of God. Divorce was added because of the hardness of people's hearts: indeed, because of the hardness of hearts, sin occurs, and thus, divorce becomes necessary because of sin. If sin did not exist, divorce would not exist. In the Book of Ezra, we see near the very end that Yahuwah orders a mass divorce as obligatory. I hope to eventually make a book that defends law of moses, and perhaps I could put the book into video form. I hope you read it someday.

  • Great video Lavern! I probably would of gone a different route explaining the differences by explaining different contexts of scriptures especially since I don't use the Didache.

  • The 613 arn't for everybody though anyway though. Law = Torah, torah = Instruction. You said yourself there is no devision saying "this is this law, that is that" etc. The laws that apply have to be searched right? Part of my studies, what is IN and OUT etc. Long process. I stopped eating pig n stuff tho months back, Isaiah 66:15-17. I'm still unsure if law of god and law of moses are different tho, more to consider still. Would be nice if it was written like the 1974 H&S Act, easy!
