It's statements like these that prove John McCain has no right to be where he is right now. The fact that he actually has a chance at becoming the next president gives me headaches.
:> He has no idea what's goin' on. Iran and Al-Qaeda. I think he is talking about afghani illigal workers in Northern Tehran. American goverment sucks..
Now that we've given "democracy" to Iraq they seem less than amused that Blackwater is granted immunity and able to tell the "official" Maliki government to go to hell.
McCain certainly knows how to sell out for political gain. Since Maliki seems to be resisting our orders he'll soon become a "terrorist" to be dealt with. Oh how quickly times change... (yet transparent as ever)
Does McLame really take us all for fools? I would love to see how Al-Maliki a Shiia allies himself with the radical Sunnis of Al Quaida. He has no chance of winning the presidency. Time to put him out to pasture.
al-quaeda will nevr kill as many innocent people as Bush has.
Maliki's government would be safer making deals with aqi, if they did get along. McCain hasn' thought outside the box since he got out of the one in Nam.He seems to be making shit up as ht goes along, like some obscene battlerapper who's playing everyone for a fool.
hey guys thanks for watching -- we also have a really great interview with jamin raskin on our website about the broken voting system, vote pairing, and what ron paul could do if he DOESN'T get the bid... check it out. veracifier dot com slash blog. and thanks for watching!
A Maliki-Al Qaeda alliance? You know our country is doomed when a major contender for the presidency is as politically ignorant as this moron. What a ridiculous, ridiculous statement!
Bullshit! Al Quaeda is a fundamentalist Sunni group where as Makili is pro Shia. The two hate each other more than Arabs hate Jews. They will fight to the death rather than join forces.
He just made the best argument for a surge in DIPLOMACY! It is in the best interests of everyone involved to work out a peaceful agreemet. The refugee situation is already bad and will only get worse.
And I'm convinced McCain flip flops like a carp on the dirt. McCain is a "has been", just like his "old white man" party. Have you noticed that even when Republican gays come out of the closet, they are old and white, it's the damndest thing.
Let's make deals with Al-Qaeda. Tell them they can kill 3000 American every six months and have control of all the oil, just so long as they can keep the Iranians and the Arab socialists at bay....wait...that was our deal all along-- except the 3000 dead Americans. That's the Faustian bargain our government has used to destroy Iranian influence and real Arab and Muslim socialism in the region. I'd rather have those things happen than have 3000 dead Americans.
I don't think there is even any intel on who the top al quaeda leaders are (with the exception of usama, who's only leader in name, given his situation), where they meet, what there agenda is, or anything else. Al qaeda is only a word used by politicians trying to get attention for whatever cause; just say 'al qaeda' and some joke over at a news corp will give you a camera and a mic to promote your REAL agenda.

Great. So, now our allies are just allies until we turn our back, and then are planning on becoming terrorists.
If they are that unreliable, why are we supporting them?

Does he not know anything about the sectarian divides in Iraq?
An alliance between the Shia-dominated so-called "national unitary government" and the ex-Hussein Sunni militias?
Where does he get his information??
Blahcetera 4 years ago 3
Perhaps McCain is saying that pulling troops out would unify the centuries-long Sunni/Shia divide!
What an argument for withdrawal! Well done, Senator!
