  • 3:18 ROFL!!!

  • Recently I've been amazed by Toni Elias's riding form. The way he rides, if you are watching him go through a corner, and you're standing on the outside of the corner, the bike almost looks like it has no rider, because his entire body except for a hand and part of a leg are off the bike on the inside of the turn!!

  • Sketch: Adj. A western American slang term meaning: dangerous, scary or risky, usually used to describe an event that could have caused harm or trouble.

"Dude that corner was fuckin sketch, i almost slid out into that oncoming semi truck"

  • @Cephalatroph its sketchy not sketch you would not describe a corner as sketch as it would be "dude that corner was fucking sketchy."

  • great vid , thanks man

  • hey i was thinking about getting a motorcyle in a year and riding it around the backroads and get a good year of experience of riding and then get a license im thinking about getting a cbr 600 rr since i heard they are good for beginners what do u think

  • Fantastic, what is your camera type, and do you have any high speed vids would like to hear the audio quality, Tnks

  • you have a pretty funny, camera set up ahhaha

  • omg. Hahahaha. 2:25 First time I saw Mordeth's actual cam setup. I would find that annoying with it in my face.

  • Haha, messing with people who can't speak English. At least not very well.

  • lmao at end :) great vid

  • rate+comment

  • how much is gas there?

  • lolz

  • I SAW UR FACE!!! =D

  • haha i remember when my wife got a moped. she would look at the head lights of a car some times while cornering. im so glad that moped turned out to be a "lemon" with in the first week of having it

  • "Does my motorcycle make you hard?" lmao what he spoke english

  • hahaha i laughed at it...i wonder what the reaction was tho :P

  • You cut off the video before you gave a chance for that man to answer, "Yes, very very hard."

  • i got taught to pretend the mirror is a door and u want to look around it

  • the car in front of you is probably like wtf?!?!?!

  • hi mordeth13,

i don't think that you'll remember me but i'm one of the first people who watched your videos on youtube.

i always wanted to drive a motorcycle since i saw your videos the first time and now i'm about to finish the drivingschool next week with a driving licence for motorcycles. you inspired me and it makes a lot of fun riding a motorcycle.

keep on your awesome and funny videos.

i'm a big fan of yours. take care and sorry for my bad english ;P

  • the end hahahaha

  • 5 stars?? Bollocks!!!

You should get 10 stars and a Grammy just for the ending alone.

  • true that

  • Well played @ the end

  • would you use all 3 cornering techniques in one corner because your a ninja? + your always looking away when you ride ;)

  • jajajaja !! (Y) grt advice

  • rofl at last bit.

  • So...does he know what your saying towards the end there, M? Either way, epically hillarious.

  • does my motorcycle make you hard!!! haha 13mordeth FTW!!!

  • hanging off is awkward at first, but once you get used to it, it actually feels natural. I find myself shifting my body even on intersections nowadays.

the video response I posted up was me learning how to move my upper body to the side. I've gotten a lot better at that now.

  • To be honest, your bike makes me VERY hard. But that's irrelevant I would think.

  • Talking about leaning correctly is easy, actually doing it can be hard. I'm just above the noob level 2 and just can't get my head down to the mirror.

  • the people behind him probably think he's nuts with all of the hand gestures! lol

  • Just to add. You should anchor your weight on the outer knee against the tank. If you put too much input on the bars when you hang off it will overload it and may cause it to wash out.

  • i WANT TO KISS YOU YOU SEXY BEAST!

    Jk hahaha

  • Are there prettier women in China, or Taiwan?

  • 3:00 i recognize that place. from the videos not real life... its the first time i recognize something lol

  • hahahahah @ the end

  • does my motorcycle make you hard ? lol

  • This is my first m13 video experience and I only have one question: Why does paypal show up when I click subscribe?

  • because you can give him money.

Like for instance every year he makes a private series for only 10 dollars and he sends you a link for those videos.

Or if you want to help him with his kid you can too. lol

  • just a few more seconds and the mini van caught fire because of the non stop braking!!!

  • heavy stuff !

    Next episode subject: "quantum physics"

  • lol the end...

  • Mordeth! Stop teasing the locals!

  • no body is quicker than you on the race track XD

  • lol at the end of the video...

  • i wouldnt call them wanna bees. i just think they enjoy it and it does help to turn fast, and maybe your a wanna be cause you have gloves! trying to copy rossie?!?!?! god video though lol 4 *s

  • LOL does my motorcycle make you hard?

  • I wish they would teach physics with a bike I think I would have understood more.

  • I had some video footage of me drifting when I was watching a plane crossing overhead of the road and I ended over in the left lane. but I deleted in editing a stupid video. that made me not hard

  • handy video man, i like this leaning series actually cos im only starting to discover how much easier turning is when you lean hehe, but yeh kudos to timmy but mordeth!! demand tim books his bike test already and get vlogging, that lazy english bum..

  • "They hang their butt off, they, they got a good butt hang" many lols were had

  • i doubt the guy spoke english so he porbally didnt understand. still fucking funny tho

  • advertisement = free cam ?

    want one too ;(

  • MSF taught me to counter weight! That is kinda the oppisite what I was taught!

  • counter weight is for very slow speed tight maneuvers that you may possibly do in a parking lot.. unless you had a foolish instructor that is confusing counter-steering with 'counter weight'.

  • Your bike sounds epic. I love it. :D

  • ahahhahaa cant get over ur last quote

  • Mordeth what would you have done if he said, "Yes, your motorcycle does make me hard"??? would you have pursued it?

  • Does my motor cycle make you hard, hahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahah

  • im waiting for the day when you just do a wheelie .some day.

    love your quotes to haha

  • Just the vid I've been waitng for, 13. Good job!

    Dan

  • "not gonna shoot off into the car when i glance at it"

    rofl!

  • "does my motorcycle make you hard" XD i love it

  • 'does my motorcycle make u hard' lol

    that ways great

not to make fun of u but u sounded like a dork E=

  • Haha what a great ending!

  • What about taking turns a little faster than normal? I mean over the speed limit but nothing like rising on a track. I want to improve my cornering technique, but I don't want to go 90 mph on a corner with 55 mph speed limit. Somewhere in between. BTW, love the ending of the vd.

  • don't slide your arse off the seat, get used to constant throttle through a corner and leaning your head off the bike.... sit back in your seat and dig your outside thigh into the groove in the tank. With time your arse will start to slide a bit off but its not a big movement, only a half a cheek at most.

The big thing that will get you quicker through corners is setting up a good line and slowly increasing throttle the whole way through the corner, don't be jerky with your movements.

  • I think M13 means is that you shift your body off the seat and your torso to the side of the tank, so you're body is "pivoted" into the direction you want to go, rather than hang off and have your body pointing the other way.

  • yes and he's right in doing so.... I'm just trying to under-emphasize the butt off the seat because it confuses newbies and contributes to them riding twisted.

I was replying to Killer Penguin, not M13...

I'm parroting off my knowledge from going to superbike school in sydney, I know based on instruction and feedback that i'm doing it right, if people don't want to listen to my advice, they don't have to.

  • I would agree with what you posted.

It does IMO coincide well with M13,, focus more on lowering your upper body/head (kiss the mirror) and less on your butt. I see too many riders hanging their butt WAY off the seat trying desperately to hang that knee out to just barely scrub pavement. .. it's the wrong way and on the streets you will almost never need to drag a knee.... not to say you can't or won't in the right corner.

  • Yeh mate, i wasn't disagreeing with mordeth, just responding to a bloke who asked how to get quicker. I think new riders should worry less about "hanging off" and more about getting a proper skillset.

TBH i've never seen a bloke who rides twisted scrape a knee... I know its possible but with the extra weight on the bars, unstable ground or rocks/cats eyes can make the guy lose the front very quickly.

  • awesome

  • hahaha, last part = epic win!

  • your motorcycle makes me hard

  • haha i read your post before i saw the ending and was really confused and a tad uncomfortable

  • try the drag effect for yourself, go no handed, hold one arm out and watch yourself drift onto the other side of the road :D

  • Quinxz, knee down's arent achieved with speed, its in technique.

leaning off creates a drag effect, imagine your head in your lid as a bowling ball, the amount of drag you get from leaning off, means you NEED less lean angle to corner. so you can corner faster with knee down.

The "Noob" method, counter balancing the bike, comes from riding a crosser with square tires, you can throw the bike pegs to the ground, and your sat on the top side of the tank, central mass is still pushing straight down

  • knees aren't that heavy

  • no knees arent that heavy, but try hanging off with your knee tucked to the tank, it feels really unnatural and after a while it hurts to hang off like that, putting your knee out towards a knee down feels more natural and comfortable

  • I'm starting to recognize some of the streets you ride on after watching so many of your videos! :D

  • I've been watchin his vids for a while now, and every vid i see it seems like a different road. lol.

  • haha so true

  • hahaha great ending homie

  • That would have been hilarious if that dude actually understood you!

  • lol, no it would be more funny if he replied "yes" lol

  • "does my motorcycle make you hard?" LOL ur a funny one speeds mcgee. im gonna take a day to watch all your vids and ill probably be able to make a hayabusa fly

  • Isnt that camera in the way in your helmet? Isnt there smaller cameras you can use?

  • lmao ive got a vallentino rossi moped lol love it

ime according to m13 i think ime 1 step above a noob ive had my bike for about 9 weeks now

  • Mordeth whats the orange light on your dash board?

  • Probably fuel, he said he needed gas.

  • well we bikers like to call it gas.

  • Most common error with leaning off is keeping a twisted body, which comes down mostly to the legs - opening your hip into the corner straightens out the body - this is where 'knee out' comes from. You dont put your knee down, your hip is simply open to the corner, hence your knee is out. Once enough lean angle is achieved then the knee may come in contact with the ground. But knee down is a product of speed, not the other way round noobcakehats.

  • lol the last part.

  • This is the problem I see with the sport bike scene....Too many riders spend too much time trying to read how to ride than actually learning how to ride. You don't see it in any other genre of riding, like there aren't dirt bikers reading how to ride off-road.

Wanna learn to ride, get on the bike and go. Once you got it figured out the best you can THEN you pick up a book and see if it can be done better.

Shortcuts don't work....I love watching idiot looking riders, they're a great laugh.

  • kiss the mirror kiss it kiss it!

  • lmao!... great video :D i've liked this series a lot so far

  • If it works for them then it isnt wrong

  • Yea your always right until your wrong lol

  • but if something works is it wrong?

  • you've never seen something wrong work?

  • Your vids have been sketch lately.

  • Sketch? What's that mean?

  • Your motorcycle is Sexy loud ;)

  • target fixation: we have this offroad, "oh shit there's a nasty rut there" *falls into rut*

  • lmfaoo, always makes me laugh, every time.

  • does my motorcycle make u hard?!!! lol

  • is that a new helmet u got?

  • anyone watching anything doing anything is a judge...

  • that guy at the end looked kinda Mexican. ;D

  • yeah and its not the first time too lol

  • HAHAHA "Does my motorcycle make you hard?"

Anyway, good tips. Though, I do not plan to get a motorcycle soon... I hope in the future I will get one though D:

  • Comment removed

  • lol "Does my Motorcycle make you hard?". Great.

  • Before i watch any more of this video, I have to ask a question so I am sure I am understanding you. So if I am making a right turn on a curve, I should be leaning off the bike to the right, but should be trying to put all of my weight on the left peg to keep my weight closer to the ground instead of making it top heavy. Is this correct? I can't wait until I get my first bike. Then I can start showing you guys Ohio. We have plenty of curvy roads here if you know where to look.

  • You've got it right. Although there are already hundreds of biker vloggers in the US and I'm sure at least one lives in Ohio.

  • while in the corner and leaned way over:

putting weight on the outside peg helps with gainng more traction in a corner,, putting more weight on the inside of the bike helps with tightening up your corner.. so balancing the two is ideal,, of course on streets you will rarely get to this degree of lean or riding on the edge.

  • Your bike does, but I still like the 500 a little more.

  • Yes it does.

  • does my motorcycle make you hard

  • ending is awesome !! lool

  • How many kms are on yer bike?

  • Great vid and some good points raised. I mena I am due to take my test soon so I dont even have a full licence, but I see so many people doing the whole butt off, head up thing.

Thanks for the shout-out. I majorly lol'd. I didnt even notice it and then saw Hughes's comment. Can I hump your leg now? :D

  • LOL!!! great ending!!

  • pls dont ever use the word noob ina vid again. :|

  • lol... does my motorcycle make you hard... i should try that the next time i ride up next to someone.

  • haha that's true xD I'll learn how to say it in japanese or something...

  • That's actually a pretty decent video request :P A video with M13 teaching us dirty taiwanese(?) sayings.

I do now. So I can abuse you here now too

  • lol, im glad to say i am always kissing my mirror =) YAY me no noob!!

  • Your motorcyle makes me hard.

  • "You don't wanna look at things you don't wanna hit"

    Applies to girls too.

  • rate much ?

  • I wish bikes had their own lane at gas stations here in the US.

10 points for taking advantage of their lack of English speaking.

  • I'm pretty much a noob, but your videos gave me great tips. Yesterday I realized I haven't been leaning my head. Now with the mirror thing I think I'll get it right.

  • I see a face at 2:11 now I know where you put you're camera lol

  • you didnt know? i thought almost all motorcycle vloggers did that...

  • Yeah, well I have a new camera setup now. So now you just know my old out dated one. :P ;)

  • QQ do i get a prize for pointing it out? lol

  • HA, watched an m13 vid within an hour of its posting, where's MY prize!!!

  • They ride twisted... I know what you're taling about... you need to move with the bike. I did that for a bit when i was learning to take turns... Found i was really straining my thigh

  • If that guy understood you that'd be hilarious haha

  • the end was to fuckin funny

  • lol he knows taht he wont understang him soo he talks shit LOLOLOLOL

  • Yes, your motorcycle does make me hard, there is no need to rub it in.

  • Mention is :P

  • You should mention that this "only" applies when racing your bike. With everyday riding the ideal turn is the one that you plan well enough to be able to lean at the same angle as the bike is leaning. In other words, drive at the "correct" speed. Also, when driving at slow speeds, the "noob" lean (as you put is) is often best and sometimes even necessary (balance-wise) because you can lean the bike quickly without shifting your entire weight (you use your hip), which is slower.

    Just though I'd

  • Strabis, I don't want to start a fight or anything, but I don't agree that you should lean at the same angle as your bike in an ideal turn. The more you lean your bike, the less contact your tires have with the ground. Part of the benefit of hanging off is that you can keep your bike more upright through a turn. Also, in regard to the noob lean, I think you're referring to a swerve, not a turn. In a turn, I'd argue that weighting your pegs and hanging off is much faster for a few reasons.

  • woo

lol saw your little facey in the mirror ;) lol

also this is a very good video

    thanks for the info

im also finding it weird that roads are starting to look familiar lol. i swear i could walk around small parts of that town knwoing where i was going haha
