"Can't sing for toffee." I've never heard it said that way before! Anyway, she's singing from her throat and here it sounds like she's been doing it for far too long.

I was the bassist and one of the lead vocalists in a band. I had professional voice training (I.e. "Classically trained") and I sing from the diaphraghm. Believe me, there's a world of difference on the vocal cords.

Having seen all his videos, I think that in her "red hair" phase she was still looking for the better way (and better vocal shape) to perform her song. In her "curly blonde hair" videos, after touring, you can easily notice that her voice has become more stronger and confident. Anyway, I love her!
