i keep recording myself on rome but it just aint appening cos either my general gets killed or my hoplites just can't stand the charge of cavalry so...its humiliating lol

this battle reminds me of a battle I just did yesterday.I was greeks against Romans and had 3 Greek Cavalry and one general and one barbarian cavalry mercenaries..the enemy had a full army and I was able to seperate a few at a time from the enemies army until the were completely crushed and only lost 18 men or something like that..admitadly it was only on hard and not very hard though : /

I think it was a failure to retreat with the whole troop, because you disposed your general to the enemy. Was outflanking his general an option or maybe you could have attacked the infantry first in order to reduce his morale?

my my, the great Attila defeated at last, I believe that's the first battle I've seen you lose. But you made such a brilliant crack at it, and you were hopelesly outnumbered. If only you had a couple of infantry units to take the brunt of the attack then your cavalry would've been free to attack the flanks. Or try and lure single units away from the rest of the army then run them down with a good big charge. I've won battles with odds of 11 to 1 like that (admittedly it was against the aztecs)

how do u get templar knights? I can never figure out how i always get the Hospitalar ones instead

it depend the faction you choose. they don't have the same crusader guilds.
