@SocialDissimulation I haven't used any mods in my playthrough of VTMB. I really wanted a clean playthrough and just used the "TRUE" fan patch which fixed bugs and made the game more playable. From what i've heard there's a wide range of mods available for all sorts including different music, lapdances, etc. The TRUE patch did include high res textures and support for higher resolutions. So, yeah, i'd say it's worth buying and trying out the fan patches.
the day i bought this game, i raced into my room and played about half of it, up until i got too scared at about 3 in the morning :D. anyhow, this is by far one of the most breathtaking games ever made. the atmosphere just sucks you in; the only way that vampires should ever be interpreted. nothing quite compares to VtMB

Troika games was responsible for some of the best RPG's to have blessed the gaming world. Arcanum, Fallout (the original two not the new one). They were also responsible for VTM:R and VTM:Bloodlines.
I believe they're gone now though, washed away by the super publishers.

@Arcadia117 Your right, Interplay was responsible for the games themselves. Just after Fallout2 was eleased, a number of the people who worked on the games joined the newly formed Troika. Hence the legacy is there, but you have a good point as to the developer themselves.

Bloodlines is seriously one of the most underrated games ever, it's just an amazing game.
I had played Ventrue first, then a year after I reinstalled it and thought I'd play something else... I think, hey, this Malkavian chick looks awesome... and then suddenly I realize all, really ALL dialogues are different and incredibly funny! Plus other characters will react differently. And to a lesser extent the Nosferatu get different things too. Really 3 games in one, if you ask me.

I got mine from my elder cousin, who stopped playing offline PC games (is now into WoW) and made me an offer that I coud take any of his games for a really good price. VtM:Bloodlines was one of them...

I fell in love with this song when i first heard it ingame, it's so calm and peaceful. VV and this song really made a perfect combination.
Btw vampires bloodlines rocks, one of the best games ever created.
