I think people are realizing that Obama isn't giving them what they hoped for. "Withdrawing from Iraq" means leaving 50k soldiers, maintaining (permanent) bases, and building an embassy complex that looks like one of Hussein's palaces. He's committing to Afghanistan with no clear strategy and definitely no exit strategy, requiring a military budget even larger than Bush's. And now he's gone even farther than the Bush admin. in defending illegal, unconstitutional wiretapping (Jewel vs. NSA).

I'm with you 100% on the marijuana argument; my fervent hope is that Obama will push for legalization (or at least decriminalization) in his second term. Until then, unfortunately, it's too politically dangerous to advocate if you want any chance for re-election.
As for Israel, it's common knowledge that they (like the U.S. Navy) have nuclear weapons, but the deliberate ambiguity has always been their policy (also like the Navy), and spilling the beans on that would have been a huge mistake.

What do you mean, "do I believe." I'm pointing out facts. They are well documented. There was no Hamas rocket fire between June 2008 and November 2008. The Ceasefire was broken by the IDF in early November. Further more it appears that this violation was a intentional provocation intended to create the conditions which led to the dec-jan war. Israel was planning the dec-jan attack at the same time that they were negotiating the ceasefire agreement. Then ended the war.....
