  • LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT THING! (O.O)

  • @DreVersion1 That's what she said!!! (sorry, was just too easy!)

  • @darude90 LMFAO NICE! xD

  • I guess it's not that hard to do the on the run thing on a rig like that, I think Rudess wanted to do a bit different version.

  • @SynthPlaysYou Jajaja... No myfriend... to play a moog modular is one of the hardest task you can do... just turn the wrong knob and it will a disaster... that´s why moog created the minimoog to make it easy for players and even a minimoog is hard to play for a "Today" player...

  • dam nice beard and dome combo, good playing 2

  • I completely miss this Rudess

  • i dream of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing

  • FREAKIN AWESOME!

  • 0:24 They look like buildings lol

  • I bet he can create outstanding electronic music :D

  • OMG Shaved Cheese, and Masterd are idiots! He looped his playing so he could adjust the Modular! Morons! Turntables!!! Lol! THEY ARE NOT TURNTABLES! HE LOOPED IT!

  • OMG that high sound from 1:40 ~ 1:50 is crazy!

The whole thing must have sounded awesome live!!

  • to solve your guys argument, go and watch any analog synthesizer video. what he's doing is adjusting the envelope and other filters that the sequencer is running through to get the opening and closing effect

  • Modular =))

  • random turns?

  • what is he doing back there? is he controlling the synthezisers with those knobs? :O

  • there are no turntables in any dream theater songs, any jordan rudess songs, or any pink floyd songs.

  • dude i swear. jordan rudess does not play turntables on any song in DT's catalogue. are you making a joke that i'm not getting? because the only time there was even a turntable sound he was just messing around with the ribbon on his kurzweil. that keyboard that he's turning all the crazy knobs on is called a modular synthesizer. each knob does a different thing controlling the size and shape of the sound waves, as well as different effects that the synth is putting out. no turntables...

  • Thats not a sample. Its done on the strings, I know what part you mean.

  • @bassrocketsauce there is a turntable sample in the glass prison.

  • @playfield

    Right

  • @flashmaster1990 thank you

  • @playfield Nah he just plays with the pitch ribbon, using one of his lead tones.

  • @playfield It's not turntable, it's keyboard. Google it.

  • @bassrocketsauce who said that turntable thing?

  • Not turntables, you retard. Please stop trolling.

  • @masterd000 LOL turntables? Unfortunately you are retarded.

  • Yes, some are LFO, waveform shapes, Q, frequency... a bunch of control knobs.

  • nö

  • nice:D....... 4000;)

  • bravo

  • Easy man! It's just a joke! Don't take it personally.

  • Looks like he's confused!!!

Ehe. He must be thinking: where did my programer guy go now??? WHOOOPS!!! Wrong knob again!

  • Sound's bang on to me.

  • No kidding! Can you imagine how good it sounded live thru those giant PAs?

  • He's like the mad scientist of synth!
