  • I remember when I saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, this came on right after the previews and before the movie. I must admit the animation looks very similar to the Brother Bear animation.

  • Nokia Tone!

  • I'm sad it's not a movie, whoever animated this should work for disney...

  • This is a animated fake trailer.

  • Okay, that was pretty much incredible.

  • like the man from disney

  • Oh come on, people! Is that a cell phone?!

    LOL XD

  • love it. video very well done

  • I think I remember this. I thought it was a movie!! Until the eagle started bombing the fourth wall and the cellphone.

  • Oh now i get it if the phone didn't ring they wouldent have fallen in the volcano but the phone rang and it distracted her from her father

  • Nice trailer !

  • 1986 silence of golden logo scared the crap out of me.

  • COME ON PEOPLE, IS THAT A CELL PHONE?

    WOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAH!

  • I remember seeing in front of the The Brothers Grimm back in 2005. At first when I saw this, I thought this was a new Disney Animated Feature, (even though at the time they said would no longer make 2-D animated film), until I heard the Cell Phone go off. It was so well that I though it someone's actual phone go off until the Eagle broke the fourth wall. Man it was a great experience and movie was good too.

  • 2 people thought this was a real movie trailer

  • Haha... I remember this.

  • its basically the lion king...WITH WINGS

  • The Eagle Queen.

  • I get furious when jackasses leave their cell phones on during the movie. One time, I said, "Turn that damn thing off, you moron!" to one such dipshit. He did, but after the film, he and I fought in the parking lot. There were three hits: Him hitting me, me hitting him, and him hitting the asphalt.

If it means I win, I'm not afraid to take a punch.

  • o i get it if the phone hadent gone off she might have been able to save her father from dying

  • some rick rool it

  • who ever knows if it has changed tell me

  • @modrenwarefare it changed 5 years ago

  • is it still the same today or is it changed

  • @modrenwarefare We don't have AMCs here in Atlantic Canada, so I can't tell for certain.

  • Looks liked they died

  • @modrenwarefare Someone dies in The Lion King (which inspired this trailer) so that could be a coincidence.

  • Imagine what would happen if the ringtone was Never Gonna Give You Up...

  • 1 dislike...ha must be the guy with the cell phone

  • I think this would have been a very promising movie. :)

  • Wonder who did the animation?!

  • "People, is that a cell phone?!"

    LOL

  • This fooled the crap out of me when I first saw it at the theater and I am usually able to catch onto stuff like that.

  • This one fooled me big time.

  • I remember this one! haha!

  • Damn, I wish they'd actually made the film! Seeing the trailer made me want to watch it.

  • Its not out of contempt, it's just a creative way to remind viewers to be considerate without sounding like a prick

  • its very funny omg lol

  • I remember snarking about this to my friend, assuming it was real, and then got embarrassed because it was a cell phone snipe. The theater got one over me that day.

  • These silence cell phone things do a real good job at making amazing movie ideas

  • This would have been an awesome movie

  • Agreed.

  • @MickeyJman06 It was, it's called the Lion King.

  • @MickeyJman06 Yeah, just a cell phone ringing throughout the whole movie while the birds get burned to death. That's so not a fatal scenario...

  • Ah, I remember when I saw this. I was fooled, thinking that this was an actual animated movie trailer. XD

  • Me, too.

  • That bird at the end, was that the female bird? If so, then it was naked and topless!

  • I will be accused by many for over-analyzing, but I will over-analyze anyways. I actually think it was the female bird. If you look closely, the bird has a female physique. Also, the subtle sigh at the end sounded very feminine.

  • I was thinking of that, too! The sigh was feminine, but I didn't know if it was from the female bird off screen or if the female bird was actually still on screen. By the way, where did you get the clip from?

  • @Reed488 ugh...omg!!

  • @Reed488 my girlfriend makes that noise every time we make love...giggity!

  • @Maniaxe613 ....it's also a bird. That'd be like saying a plucked turkey is naked and topless. True, but weird to point out X3

  • When I saw this in my theater, I thought it was a real movie until the cell phone part! XD

  • I can't blame you; I would have thought it was a real movie, as well. This policy trailer was brilliantly done.

  • Me too! I almost thought this was a trailer when I was watching this video!

  • Funny how this no doubt also served as advertising for the contributing companies.

Buy a cell phone. But turn it off. :)

  • I dig the irony. Nice observation.

  • I love it when amc has turn off ur cell phone ads like these

  • this amc policy trailer looked and sounded like a disney movie.

  • this is totally weird. it looked like it was a Disney movie, till i heard "hey! is that a cell phone?"

  • Who IS the Disney announcer guy, anyway?

  • @FlamingRuby Mark Elliott

  • @05309193 Thanks--I have wondered for years who the announcer guy for Disney previews was

  • @FlamingRuby You're Welcome!

  • nice creativity by amc thats why they are one of the most succsesful movie theators companies in the united states

  • It definitely was nice creativity.

  • The Eagle King?

  • Haha.

  • That actually looks like it would make a good movie.

  • I gotta agree with ya on this one, Green- it's ads like these that can get me confused...

  • Man, they have the Disney Announcer too. This is a great Lion King spoof.

  • It is. They obviously put some time and creativity into making this trailer.

  • Great "Lion King" spoof.

  • Indeed. For merely being a policy trailer, I give the production company a lot of applause for putting so much effort into the trailer to make the movie look like it is real.
