  • Love your naild :***

  • Too much work. Just use accetone and a paper towel. Not the best for your nails but it takes it off within seconds

  • so helpful! im always scared to wear glitter nails since its so hard to take off

  • You should do a informational video on how you keep your nails so perfect

  • Same here! I would never have time to sit and scrub so I would paint over some glitter pieces. Awesome mischievious

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

  • So helpful!! Thanks !! Check out my beauty channel! I just did a couple of valentines day makeup looks!! Thank You!!

  • Thank you so much for this!

  • sephora sales a new instant nail polish remover $9.00 u put one finger in the can 10 second and ur nail comes out polish/ glitter free.

  • Oh my god magic.

  • Would this work with cotton balls too?

  • Love your tutorials. Do you have any advice on how to get yellow staining off nails. I used dark colors without a base coat. :( I don't do that any more!

  • Fantastic advice! Works just as you said, though I did get some amused looks as I removed my polish on the front lawn. (BF hates the smell of polish and acetone!) I even shared the secret with a makeup expert at Sephora. He was delighted and wanted to try it immediately. I told him to watch your video to get precise instructions.

    Thank you!

  • Can't believe just really made that... lol While I was putting the caps on the rest of my nails, the previous ones were slipping off... Lol... It didn't get so perfect as yours, but it worked nice in some way!!! =D

  • you are a genius!! thank you so much for this awesome tip!!

  • Best trick ever!!!

  • yeah its called nail polish remover

  • you just saved my life :D this tip is amazing!

  • Thank you for this tip!!! This is a life saver!! Once I spent about 20-30 minutes scrubbing glitter nail polish off my nails and I found that after I scrubbed my nails they were really weak! Thank you so much!!!

  • I just wanted to say a quick THANK YOU for this tip! Seriously, the best tip i've gotten from You Tube in AGES, I love my sparkly polishes, but dread the removal... this worked like a charm!!!

  • she kinda sounds like zoey deschannel,...

  • Thx so much!

  • Going to give this a try. I always rub so much my skin hurts

  • it's a cool trick, but it didn't work as well with my nailpolish as it did on the video. It really stung my skin badly (you warned us so I was prepared for that). So I think I'm gonna keep looking for a different way of removing it. But it was a really good idea, and a great video.

  • she said in SECONDS i heard 5 minutes......

  • Cool! :D

  • i do that without the tin foil but this looks easy, its just that five minutes is too long, i usually take 1 minute on each nail

  • this is awesome! thanks for sharing w/ us

  • @BeBeAyumiReturns really??

  • @fatinarock20 disappointed, she ain't... I thought cuz of the ''Nagellackentferner'' o.o

  • @BeBeAyumiReturns

    Um im german to....

    I speak great english.... WEIRD!!!!

  • @BeBeAyumiReturns she is not german she is from canada but lives in switzerland thats the reason why she speaks german :)

  • @BeBeAyumiReturns

Sie kommt aus der Schweiz und ist zur Hälfte Kanadierin, deshalb das gute Englisch.

Und dem Durchschnitts-Schweizer würde ich nicht sagen, dass er deutsch ist *hust*

  • @Akasha266 owh... dann mein fehler... ^^ thx für die info :)

  • Well.. the idea might be cool. But I'm actually faster rubbing it down with just some cotton than I am when I have to cut all these stuff an wrap it around my fingers and wait.

  • Great ides but for people wearing acrylic nails it will dissolve your acrylic and ruin them.

  • zoya nail polish remover is great for removing glitters.

  • Comment removed

  • awesooooooooooooooooooome i'll try it inshaallah :D

  • Great video! This technique can also remove gel polishes.

  • @thenailteacher yea but for gel polishes it requires a remover with acetone :)

  • @thenailteacher Yes, but then you have to use the acetone remover :)

  • Ahh I cannot wait to try this! Thanks so so so so MUCH! :D

  • Wow this really works!! I just tried it now and it came right off...thanks so much for the tip!

  • Amazing and i defintiely got to share this on my blog!!

  • W O W

  • Awesome! Haven't used glitter polish for a long time cause it's so damn annoying to remove. :D Thanks for sharing this tip!

  • Ingenious and awesome. Many thanks. 'Nuff said.

  • INGENIOUS and awesome. Many thanks. 'Nuff said!.

  • Cool! One of the BEST tips you ever gave. Thank you so much!

  • I usually just buff the glitter down with a coarse file (carefully so I don't snag right through to my nail) and then I use a cotton ball instead of a round flat pad, hold the cotton ball saturated with remover on the nail for a few seconds, and the polish comes off pretty easily. I'm definitely going to try this though!

  • @LadyMandyisms i do the same thing except i use those bins of remover you stick your finger in and removes the polish. but the key is what you said soft file on glitter then remove it all ive been doing this for like 6 years

  • Ich kann dir gar nicht genug danken für den Tipp? Ich werde mir gleich mal die Nägel lackieren. :)

  • God, this is magic !

  • Wow!!! Magic! :)

  • When you took the foil, off of your thumb...my mouth dropped! amazing! thank you so much for posting this video. my life is now so much easier:D

  • This is the most useful video ever!!! Thank you!

  • what song does she use for the intro and ending?

  • what a cool trick! i'm so gonna try this, thank you!

  • Great way to remove glitter polish!

  • No freaking way! This is awesome! Thank you!

  • thanks for the tip! Vitamin E Oil is wonderful for cuticles and nails, I will use that afterwards :)

  • I had to remove my headphones because I shudder at the sound of fingernails on cotton .......aaaarggh

  • wow that was amazing are those your natural nails or did you get them done

  • Tienes las uñas más sanas que he visto en mi vida! brillantes y tan rosadas....

    un beso desde España!

  • This worked pretty good. A couple of the foils kept falling off though. It does take a good five minutes of waiting before removing them. I still had to work at the rhinestones though as it did not loosen then at all. The remover though does run down your fingers though when sealing up the foil around. The cotton pads were saturated but not dripping so maybe I secured the foil too tightly? But yes overall this did work and I will definitely try this method again.

  • Good

  • can i use any cotton ball to remove it and then use the foil paper?

  • I should try this!

  • Awesome trick! I usually use the oil method- which takes about as much effort as removing non glitter polishes... But since you've shown how brilliantly this foil method works- I will have to try it out!

  • Cool!

  • awesome!!!!!!!

  • AMAZING WAY

  • This is like magic! THANK YOU! you have made me love glitter nail polish SOOO much more!!<3

  • Wow, thank you! I will try this!

  • HOLLY SHIT THATS AWESOME!

  • in 300 seconds!! I'm just being anal! Great video.

  • it is a super video. greetings.

  • Amazingggg :)

  • You can also use this method to remove acrylic tips. Using acetone. All you have to do is cut off the excess tips down before hand.

  • Thank you :*

  • ahhh i love this idea !!! this is perfect since i wear glitter polish all the time !

  • Loooooooooooooove this!

  • What a great idea!!!

  • THANK YOU!!!!

  • Your nails look good.File you look at the nails yourselves?

  • Your nails are beautiful :)

Do you file your nails own or go you to a designer.??

  • Wow that is sooo cool

  • MissChievous, have you ever done, or gotten acrylics, if so, what was your experience? Thank you!

  • Wow.........seems like a hassle. Id just rather go to a salon and get it done. Good tip for those who don't mind all the steps

  • Bless this video...

  • Super genialer Tipp!! Vielen Dank ;D

  • I love you! I quit using glitter polish because it was such a pita to get off. Thank you thank you thank you!

  • I've always known about the saturated pad on your nail, but have never seen it done with tin foil. Brilliant idea because obviously it did come out in one go. Thanks Julia!!!

  • Wow pretty amazing!

  • So this is the tin foil method everyone is talking about... Thank you for sharing!

  • I know professional manicurists that use this technique. They also use it to remove Shellac except they replace the nail polish remover with a special one made to remove Shellac.

  • If my nails looked like that I wouldnt be taking it off!!! :)

  • im a cosmo student and this a trick that is taught and practiced in most salons. it also works great to soak off acrylic/gel nails and shellac. way better then filing it off.

  • can u tell me what colour and make of the nail varnish you are wearing coz its beautiful.

  • Wow!!! This a really good trick to remove glitter nail polish! Thanks!!!! çD

  • Awesome!

  • NO WAY!!! Thank you so SOOOOOO SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for this tip! I love glitter nail polish so much, but hate removing them. This really helps! You've made my life simpler :)

  • Very cool!

  • This is AMAZING!!

  • thank you so much for this! I love glitter nail polish but it is (or no, it 'was') hard to take off. This will help a lot :)

  • this works so well! thank you julia! :***

  • great!!!1111

  • Perfect!

  • I've seen this before and thought it was stupid! However, after seeing you really try it, I'm convinced otherwise. Thanks!

  • i thought she said crap store at 0:50

  • Awesome!!!!

  • That's ridiculously cool; i always end up with polish ALL over my cuticles and down my fingers and i just think o_0... love ya :-)

  • Can you reccommend any good cheaper nailpolishes? All those expensive fancy essie ones and whatever all the beauty gurus use are way too expensive for me as i am a student, but many of the cheap ones i've used are rubbish and take forever to dry and won't go on smoothly or come off really easily. I live in europe too btw.

  • this is magic!!!

  • Great tip! Thanks for sharing!

  • Good tips,thank you^^

  • u have a nice looking hands and fingernails..love them...

  • I did this last night with some stubborn glitter that wouldn't come off and it worked amazingly!

    Thanks :) xx

  • you just saved my nails!

  • Awesome.

  • this is a similar method I was taught in cosmetology school. you can do the same with cotton balls and remover and just leave it on each nail to soak. thats the only way I do it before manicures.

  • your nails are gorgeous!!

  • My mind is blown. Thank you so much for posting this! Usually I just wait for it to start peeling off, but I assume that's not good for my nail beds.

  • I think this method also helps with loosening acrylic nails off!

  • @kurtrayunnnnnn yes it does, takes them off really easily :)

  • yayy this is going to save me from rubbing away on my nails

  • ive done this before to remove acrylic nails, had to keep it on for like an hour but it really helped.

  • I've done this trick before! I forgot where I learned it, but it's the only way I take off glitter polish now, it works so well!

  • wow!!

  • Absoutely genius!! Thank you so much!! :D

  • Just to point out the cuticle is a ridged growth underneath the skin around the nail. The skin that most people incorrectly refer to as the cuticle is actually the eponychium. To avoid the eponychium from drying out while doing the foil trick apply with a Q-tip some Vaseline before applying the cotton swab then foil. It's an old salon trick I learn a couple of decades ago.

  • Thanks so much for sharing this tip!

  • ..... i cant evan say how much i love that it works it helped mee soo much

  • I'm totally going to try this when I take off my silver glitter polish tomorrow!

  • You rock! Thank you!

  • You are a life saver!!! This is so great!!
