My LCDTV goes to blue screen after the playstation "scei" screen and says "no signal". I can't play with my old playstation1 anymore, but there is still sound from the game when i connect the audio cable(red & white) to a component system. anyone experience this?

Lol i remember this console, i loved it. It was like a primitive, you were able to buy a car cable which connects to your cigarette lighter and lets u play ur PS1. The coolest thing is you don't need to detach the screen to play on the TV, it had an AV port in the back!

Your desciption says psx, but this is just a playstaion One with a hookup in the back(I do belive, not makeing any promises) A psx is a Special Version of the PS2 in Japan because the PS2 wasn't getting enough sales

It came in a combo box, which came with the ps1 slim, the screen, and 1 controller. The screen had to be screwed on, but was really easy to do.
