Star trek online 1 year on is much better and has a better player basis then ever, worth a second look for those who played it in its first month

@Jeron1337 It was such a nightmare for the first month and probably beyond i cant be bothered with it again.

Age of Conan was the same , released half cocked, i read its great now but i aint going there again.

@Urko2005 I know what you mean, but it really is sooo much better.

The problem was that cryptic owned the intellectual property, and were forced into a launch date on the basis that the intellectual property was there if it could be released on this date....

I have not played AOC - but I bet its superb now? Sheldon from big bang likes it, and hell even Penny did ;-)

@ziggyzap1 Loads in the Star Trek Universe , but this game i stopped playing after the first month.

@ziggyzap1 lots mate they get generated in the genesis engine when you explore, also the foundry allows people to create highly detailed missions that rival the developer made missions.... so content and customization never ends.... with the new 2.0 ground combat point and shot system and aim recticle makes for a very interesting and fun ground combat - was always the games weakness as the space combat is actually geneious

@alexeirayu Definately not in the game, Cryptic who make it made a right pile o shit in the end of a Star Trek game with so much potential.

I was in the open and closed beta and played for the first month.

Very disappointed in the game and the setup behind the scenes in the way of support.
