I couldn't agree more with the previous post [McElhinney65]. I have the Glenn Close version of this too on my iPod but I think this is just stunning. Both girls are fabulous harmonising together, my only sadness is that I wish they had done the whole song because if this short version is anything to go by, it would just be phenomenal. Sarah just pulls this off effortlessly like she was born to sing it and Rachel compliments her too. ENCORE!!! x

Shes Glinda, she's Fantine, but she's not really Nancy. Rachel has that toughness about her, you could believe her as Nancy. She was never going to win though because she was a professional so ALW gave her the boot too early - just to hedge his bets!

yea i totally agree being loud does not mean ur better. at my drama group the people who r cast r always loud at singing and shout thier lines and i think its better to have more emotion in it and vary the sound but is suppose it depends on what the director wants :D

To me this was the stand out performance of the entire series. They were both performed so very well, and the lyrics were perfect for the occasion, it just took it to another level completely.

I felt Rachel was better throughout the song, but Sarah singing the last line into the camera breaks my heart, especially since she went.

Rachel is really not arrogant at all! She comes across as so bubbly and friendly and definitely does not have a cold expression on her face. she was so shocked that ALW saved her. They were both absolutely amazing in this performance, and if i had to choose between them i would have chosen Rachel, she is solid, just as he said.
