any one know songs like this kind of music????

  • @s0ngcatcher It's actually in a language Ronan Hardiman made up, so the listeners wouldn't be distracted from the sound by the message...

  • its Gaelic

  • i want that lyrics

  • this text is just phonetics.... same like enya is doing...

  • i doubt - here is lyric.... do you have translation to english ?

  • @mraky2 it actually is btw...

  • @mraky2 the language is Albanian

  • @mraky2 it's in latin, i believe.

  • ah, that's how nazgûl actually talk...xD

  • So this is what Emperor Palpatine does in his spare time...

  • @chasslez This has got to be better than doing Emperor stuff.

  • Why they are all in black? wait.. we know the answer..

the true mages are always in purple or white, ur boss is baphomet

  • It's amazing. Winter is coming...

  • TLO brought me here

  • The Language is Gaelic. God bless Google. Lol i searched and searched and it says that some sounds are untranslatable....... so i guess it is made up. like all languages. you can get the lyrics off of wikpedia and sing along. Kinda of fun. Rof

  • for everyone who keeps asking what language it is.

    its none. It's made up.

Now just listen to the music..

  • Huk brought me here!

  • It could be gaeilge?!

  • If you want to dis music, then dont listen to it. Not everyone has the same interests in Music. This is Celtic melodies, or Irish really. If you dont like it, DONT LISTEN TO IT!

  • Is it sad that, despite the fact it's not a real language, I learned it anyway? :/

  • Who cares if it's a bunch of made up words...it's still pretty fucking epic!

  • Awesome !!!

  • its not celtic or latin, its a made up language. And it is nice music

  • why they don't riverdance?

  • @Dethelem dancing monks? then itl be like a medieval church production of "grease"

  • Hallowed are the Ori

  • Palpatine has returned with an army of singing Sith Republic Beware

  • Anyone know where to buy a robe like this? I'm planning to be evil during halloween :)

  • @DarthFolo Bed, Bath and Beyond.

  • Hoola meena della meena hallow meena Halo 0:39

    They are summoning Master Chief!

  • I am against the high priests. They persecuted Christ -__-

  • @royalsteven These High Priests are Druids and did not persecute Christ but they did fight against forced conversion by the Roman Catholic Church.

  • No not these in the video, those were from Middle ages. I mean high priests and farazies from Jesus time.

  • @royalsteven You're right about the Pharisees and Saduccees, according to Scripture, however historically they were known to persecute anyone that came between them and the moneylenders for the temple (this was the act that Jesus was targeted for when he overturned their tables) or anyone that spoke against the Sanhedrin and the Roman Empire. Jesus was on a long list of Zealots (and the Essenes) all the way to Simon bar Kokhba (132 AD).

  • You know your history nice :)

  • @royalsteven Thanks and so do you! :)

  • @royalsteven That's not a fact, more of a rumor.

Just as christianity can't prove god exists (I'm not saying he doesn't, just that I don't believe that)

God is a rumor, impossible to prove he exists. Though you can't prove that he DOESN'T exist either.

I respect your faith, and enjoy discussing theological problems with you. Peace off :)

  • I do not really want to discuss this again. It doesn´t really makes sense to discuss anything you belief in, it is what it is. I believe what I believe and you do too. And that´s ok. The bible is history and God is real. My feeling and experience is God exist. My mind, heart, soul, spirit and faith says so.

  • @royalsteven I respect your beliefs, and apreacciate your kind answer. Have a nice day sir.

  • WOOT 10000WIEWS , GRATS!

  • Awesome priest is awesome =Db

  • This is unbelievable! They have great voices and the melody is wonderful! The orchestration increses the effect of it! Especially the drums...

    Love it!!!

  • masons

  • Who couldnt love this? It actually sound like he would say some words in Finnish, where i live. Unbelivible music

  • :O this is just! OMG WOAH! ^^

  • I don't care what language it is or isn't, I just knoww IT IS AWESOME!!!!

One of my friends sent me this because it was in the related videos of another video she had sent me. She then regretted it because I didn't any of the other videos she sent me afterwards. I kept watching this }:)

  • Holy shit, i didn't know sith lords could sing so well

  • Jerusalem :D

  • I believe that this language is not a form of Celtic. But it was definitely modeled after the various branches of it...

  • Could be gregorian chants. Sounds like that anyway.

  • THIS NUMBER TELLS ABOUT A GROUP OF MONKS THAT BRING LIGHT AND PROSPERITY TO A DARK AND ANCIENT PLACE

  • This is fascinating to listen to and watch. But I'm confused as to what it means. What are these the "high priests" of? Are they supposed to be good or evil? They and the song seem so dark. The lead singer looks kinda creepy. What does it mean? Not necessarily the lyrics, but the whole performance?

  • fananatina fannanahanniga fananatina qunadoname sulanahuname sulanahulame sulanahuname quanadoname hunaminadatta minaallahminaheyo hunaminadatta mina allahmanamo dattamina dattamina leyo hunaminnadatta mina allahmanomoh?.

  • esos señores son darks =O jajaja

  • dude imtotally using this song in like a star wars game mod :D

  • Many words is shorted up....on of the singers wrote that after the show.

  • Where I can find this Song?

    On which CD or Album

  • It´s dark and wonderful song, but is´t very hard to remember words :D

  • Comment removed

  • amazing. Just speechless right now; i need to listen to it again and again.

  • is the name of this song really high priests?

  • it is not a made up language it is galic from the northern islands i should know im living there it is galic with some latin

  • @ksb3904 Can you translate please?

  • freakin' awesome!

  • einfach nur geil....

  • brilliant Ronan Hardiman!!!

  • could be latin

  • @Padfoot5000 actualy its the language of the celts so i believe

  • @Padfoot5000 =)))) you are so wrong!

  • @Padfoot5000 rofl its celtic..

  • @criosan if you know better then it might be celtic. I'm just going by what the writer of the song said about it...

  • There is no such language as Celtic - there were various Celtic languages.

The Continental Celtic languages have been extinct for a long time.

The Insular Celtic languages are still spoken by a small number of people.

    There are two sub-divisions:

    1) Brythonic / Brittanic Group (ie. Welsh and it's derivatives - Cornish & Breton)

    2) Goidelic / Gaelic Group (ie. Irish and it's derivatives - Scottish and Manx)

The language in this clip sounds like none of them.

    I'd say probably made-up

  • @Cathain78 And its derivatives.. Why would you say and it's derivatives? It's like saying ''And it is derivatives'' Its is the possessive form. It's and its are two different things..

  • @K4inan

It's known as a typo. Are you familiar with this term?

  • @Padfoot5000 Its not a made up language its Gaelic the language of the Gauls.

  • @Padfoot5000 it's infact Gaelic...

  • @Padfoot5000 It's in Irish.

  • @lotc87 I'm Italian and I studied Latin in high school, this is NOT Latin.

  • @lotc87 Others videos comments said it was an Old Gaelic not a made up language or Latin...

  • Where do you find robes like that? They are so awsome! Love this music!!

  • what is this language

  • @MegaJade1992 The language doesn't exist! Hardiman made the words up. His idea was that the visitors only have to listen to the sound. Because if you're thinking too much about what is said you lose the special feeling^^

I'm sorry that my english is not the best-.-

  • @Phiecha yes it is man, look a few pages back in the comment history. some dude even got the lyrics for this song

  • Блин, чё не по-русские???

  • its gealic chanting and you dont have to be irish yes it originated in ireland but i am british and my cathlic church does it and these words do not have a meaning if you translated it its just a bunch of words thrown together

  • some of thise words does have :)

  • It does sound Gaelic....

You should be able to translate it easily if you find the appropriate translation dictionary

  • epic

  • I`m not irish, but this is great!!!!

    I love it!!!

  • Waar kan ik de snelle versie vinen

  • It's not irish... these words have no meaning at all. Ronan Hardiman made them up precisely because he didn't want the content to draw attention away from the tune.

  • @Csoery

sorry but they do have a meaning i speak fluent galic yes he tryed to make words up but he just scrabled them they do have a meaning

  • @ksb3904 If it's to much to ask do you think it's possible to send me the translation? I'm curious as to what was being said even if it was all jumbled.

  • @Csoery

  • @Bobbilhead interesting, it is just like latin, it sounds like it and the spelling too. If it's old irish and your irish, then perhaps you can translate us this text?

  • i wish i could but this is old irish probuble used by celts! i only know modern irish from around the early 14th century! this was in use around 600a.d to about the 1200s so sorry i cant help!!

  • Tera mina, tera mina tera mina lei lo

  • such a beautiful language and wonderful singing!!! :D is that latin or celtic it sounds like celtic though... 5/5 stars cause i love the lang. and the singing plus i love the lord of the dance!!! ;D

  • I want to say that it is Latin but I am not 100% sure on that.

  • Fara natina

    Hura na huna me

    Fara natina

    Hura dona me

    Sula na hura me

    Hura na duna me

    Sula na hura me

    Hura dora me

  • This is impressive!

  • ala- wing, dormio- to sleep and i think this is latin so i downloaded latin dictionary :)

  • Ronan stated many times that the lyrics of this song have no meaning at all, and that they are not written in a natural language.

    Still, it's awesome!

  • So has anyone actually managed a contextual translation of this? It presents itself almost like a Gregorian incantation. The words are repetitious so a translation shouldn't be that hard theoretically.

  • is that a spell ? i sounds beautifully weird

  • Considering that Ronan Hardiman is from Dublin and Dublin is overwhelmingly Catholic I doubt that it's any kind of spell.

  • omg <3 love the language how awesome:)

are there more of this kind of songs?

tell me plz! I want to hear more :D

  • I think it's latin or celtic, leaning towards celtic.

  • whats the language ^_^???

  • Gaelic, the old Irish celt-language

  • I WANNA LEARN GAELIC TEACH ME!!!

  • i think the name of choir is Dun and lider is John Mckeon

  • What is the name of the choir?

  • Esta cancion pertenece a ronan hardiman y a michael flatley.Los monjes en realidad no son monjes son un coro italiano.pero yo respeto las opiniones de la gente y no quiero crear polemica

  • Does anyone have the lyrics to this?

  • fucking epic

  • i LOVE it <3

  • wow awsome!!!!

  • it's super!!!

  • our choir is singing this song!

  • "a la mano do" means " to the hand I give" translated from italian. So.. if it's all bullshit, it's hell of a good one. "mina" means "mine"; "para" means "to adorn". Of course, all put together is shitish :)), makes no sense. Somehow, that's the beauty of it. We try to find logic in everything..

  • did you notice that the guy at 1:10 is the main bad guy?

  • oh jeeze its the emporer... run the sith are here!!! great song/chant though

  • Just Fantastic!!!

  • I can sing this and its awsome

  • Anyone have the lyrics to this?

  • best
