I love this Movie!! it is odd however, this show just about cost Cary Grant his career.Due to the fact that most people (at the time) never seen him as a drunk, I'm glad to see the film on lne thanks for uploading it.
@rickydinnc Thankfully movie critics never attained the power of Broadway critics to shut down a production and Father Goose is still around to make us laugh after all these years. I've been a Cary Grant fan for more years than I like to remember, whether he was in a tuxedo or a navy uniform and I think he was terrific in this film. All the best.
@pt45g46 better to die alone than during a poorly planned assault under the orders of some psycho freak officer who has to showoff in order to progress his career. nuff said
Thankyou for posting this, one of the greatest movies ever made. I wish Cary would have gotten the oscars he so richly deserved. A movie that just can't help but make you smile. :)
Positively included high in my top ten favourites. I'll never forget the way Cary eats the sardines straight from the tin ( AE, can) with the opener he just used to open it - indeed, the king of slobs. I have on occasions approached this level of slovenliness but consider him far superior in this regard. They say Zsa Zsa Gabor divorced him for eating fish 'n chips out of a newspaper in their closed limousine!
HAS THAT SITUATION IMPROVED HUN ? i'M SO VERY DEEPLY SORRY ABOUT UR MOM. I JUST LOST MY DAD 3 YEARS IN JUNE AND IT STILL KILLS ME LIKE AS IF IT HAPPENED YESTERDAY, AND MY MOM DID SOME SHADY SHUY. CIAO CIAO AND GOD BLESS. MUAH !!!!!!!
@AllieCat356 Situation improve? I think Im kust about even in a one legged arse kicking contest. @wardcheryldarcie Thank you. You are the first posting comment on this. Saw it the other day on the tube and rem from years ago and loved it for its inosence and comedy family value. Thnax again for comment. :)
La acabo de ver por primera vez, muy cursi, pero sin duda me gustó la película.
Es de la época en que a los gringos todavía se les admiraba, se les respetaba y hasta se les quería.
Hoy, lamentablemente, solo se les teme.

Historian Walter Lord wrote a good history back in the 1960s about the Australian coast watchers. They were quite brave, and quite often died alone.
