This is my grandma's favorite song, she told us she wants my dad and uncle to sing it while they scatter her ashes. Hopefully they won't have to learn it any time soon, but its a beautiful song.
This was one of my mom's favorite songs. We laid her to rest on January 15th. I've had "Morning Has Broken" constantly on my mind ever since. You created a superb photo montage. The only thing I wish you had done differently is end the song with a fade of the second-to-last shot, but honestly, you did a great job.

Love this song....B sarn what is wrong is the religion he chose. It is a religion that teaches a non tolerance and harsh punishments. Islam the word means submission or surrender enough said right there. This should in no way reflect how his music touches people.

I have nothing but good memories for this man, he gave me much pleasure as a child, I had a major crush, loved tea for the tiller man so much and named one of my cats Cat Stevens! I was a very different sort of kid, the first song I learned and sang (at 3 years old) was Ruby Tuesday by the stones at 11 my favorites were The Stones Bob Dylan and cat Stevens! Cat Stevens is still cool in my book, I wish him nothing but good things and happiness!
Thank you many times over for this upload, maizaccc. I view it almost daily. When my kitty was sick, I would place the laptop in front of her and play this video again and again and again. She purred everytime I did this! I can't thank you enough for such a wonderful piece of work.
This man was in touch with a part of his soul on a level rarely attained in his art form, when composing this song. It speaks to the beauty and grace all around us and seems to transcend the physical and aproaches the spiritual like few other songs have ever done before or since. It opens up our hearts to something beyond ourselves and it gives us a glimpse of what we can be. The man is truly gifted.
He is truly gifted, a great singer and author but in this case he just plays and sings a beautiful traditional song. This recording made many people think he was the author.

An uncredited Rick Wakeman of Yes on piano, prior to his joining Yes! He was a studio musician, saw him live several years ago and he played this tune and told the story, apparently he was not only uncredited, but still has never been paid for the session to this day!!

"Bunessan" had been found in L. McBean's Songs and Hymns of the Gael, published in 1900. Before Farjeon's words, the tune was used as a Christmas carol.

Piano chords sound wonderful, Voice fits with lyrics, Chorus heavenly !!!! A GREAT SONG, GREAT MELODY, GREAT LYRICS !!!! For me it is hard to recapture sights, sounds, moments of Mexico 1972, but this song helps me to recall the nature of life at that time !!!!

Religion is like porn? maby but I only see it as a tool to keep the vas population of Earth under control, and it has worked for many 1000 years :) try to think about it for 10 minutes or so.
Religion is like porn, it is something for adults. I think parents should teach their children a little of every religion (should be taught in school too), and give them a choice as they turn eighteen. No one should ever shove it down one's throat.

My little brother died suddenly, recently (it was his heart). He was only 40 years old. This CD was among his possessions. We all miss him so much (there are a lot of us), because he was such a beautiful human being. We are (still) all crying. This song helps.

Cat Stevens is the absolute best performer in my lifetime. I never get tired of listening to his music. I can't imagine this world with out Cat Stevens music in it.

I lost my child to a head on collison based on the other driver dropping a cellphone. 49 days later I was release from the hospital. 4 days later while sitting on my front porch.. I was bitten by tick that about killed me after losing 27 lbs in 5 days... had to sell my remodeled 1865 home becuase I couldn't go back to work for 21 months because of weakness... and this song saved me from the suicide I comtemplated. Religion is like porn, it is something for adults. I think parents should teach their children a little of every religion (should be taught in school too), and give them a choice as they turn eighteen. No one should ever shove it down one's throat.

But you can say, "G-d D--n You," and you're not guilty of anything. And here you are saying parents shouldn't instill their values on their children, but rather let them taste a little of all kinds of morality and immorality. BTW: Only about 15% of church-going kids continue in church after age 18, so they do essentially choose then.

My little brother died suddenly, recently (it was his heart). He was only 40 years old. This CD was among his possessions. We all miss him so much (there are a lot of us), because he was such a beautiful human being. We are (still) all crying. This song helps.

Here, people from different religions are close friends, people from different races live in the same street and nobody bothers about it. In my country black people don't have a special to talk, like a different dialet, like in yours. I've known recently that even some food stores in your country are considered "for black people" - not that anybody would declare that in public

I got involved in life and the thrill of living it... just not in the same capacity. There are ups and downs to life... my grandmother had a saying.. I lost my child to a head on collison based on the other driver dropping a cellphone. 49 days later I was release from the hospital. 4 days later while sitting on my front porch.. I was bitten by tick that about killed me after losing 27 lbs in 5 days... had to sell my remodeled 1865 home becuase I couldn't go back to work for 21 months because of weakness... and this song saved me from the suicide I comtemplated.
