I don't really understand why the people in the video are laughing... that fish is OBVIOUSLY very ill. It isn't very hard to realize that it's in a lot of pain, and is in fact dying. Not something I think anybody should be laughing at.

Biggest is right that fish has a disease, not funny it is suffering. It is an internal bacteria infection that shuts down its organs called dropsy

i realize y'all have been giving this guy thumbs down, but samson is right. the fish has dropsy, and s/he likely won't survive. Dropsy is difficult to treat. do an images search for dropsy, and you'll see lots of fish so-afflicted.

That's a pearlscale and they get that fat. But because of their genetics, they are prone to dropsy, which is different than a typical swim bladder disorder. They can't lift themselves in the water where normal swim bladder disorders usually just cause the fish to flip upside down.
