I own this helmet and yes the cheek pads are removable. I am very happy with it and am sad I must replace it as a woman I know dropped it and I no longer have confidence in it :-( wish I could find another.

Some things he said were incorrect. I have seen this helmit in other colors and also the liner is REMOVABLE AND WASHABLE...

just bought a spare at walmart for $79. they had a copper or gold helmet for only $34!!! ony in XL tho.
