I have one question does any body know how come when i get to the part where you record it to make it a sample it only records for 52 seconds not the hole song.

i did all that ish in song mode, but when i record it, it only records a couple a seconds, and at Free stands, Free  =00m14s, does that mean i aint got enough space or sum ?

hey man your videos are great, they've really helped to clarify some issues i was having with the mpc. I still have this problem though, when i save ongoing work as a project and then load it up the samples aren't loaded to the pads and my sequences are gone, even though the project seems to have saved as its own file. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Also do I have to be on a folder to save in it or do i have to go into the folder ie. cursor right to save in it?

anyone help, i get right to the end where i record and it says i only have 30 secs of rec time. i know its not my memory card as its a 4gb im just thinking if its to do with the RAM, i only have 16mb of RAM until tomorrow. could that be the problem anyone ?????

Ive got a problem!, hope I don't bother too much.

I just made a song on the mpc500 and arranged all the sequences into a song.. when i make the whole song into a sequence and then listen to it it gets quiet after 8 beats but the "beat counter" still ticks.. but there is only silence! I have been doing everything I could think of to sort this out but nothing works. Any idea?

Make sure you're watching it in "HD".. YouTube compresses the video's when you add them, but it gets quite a bit better if you click the HD button at the bottom right of the video. I tried to verbally explain what was on the screen and what I was doing, but this is the best it's gonna get. Best of luck though

yo nevermind i figured out what i did wrong this vid is helpful man thanks alot all i had to do was put in adobe audition and make it stereo send it back to the mpc load it and re record it.

simple, i find that u get more time to record if its monoL too stereo only gives me 25 seconds for some reason

maybe i need to get the memory upgrade. but since im kinda low on ends it gotta wait til next month but how much memory do you have? and any pointers??
