Heh, I think it's funny that in most "classic" games, like Doom and Descent 2, etc, the main character had a deep, raspy-ish voice. Glad they kept that with the MD for Descent 3.

Yeah I know what you mean man. One problem though, you can turn the game resolution really high like 1600x1200.. BUT whenever you access the map screen it has to jump resolution down to 1024x768 again.. VERY annoying.

so in conclusion the graphics were amazing, And anotehr thing, look at the reticule, I think the Descent team was one of the first people to introduce this in a game. These guys were pioneers. My games are: Cosmo, Keen, Descent, MotoCross (like the very very first one), oh I had like one more, it slipped my mind, please tell me yours maybe I will remember?

Ireally enjoyed Descent as a kid. But, wow, looking back Descent (all of it) was really ahead of its time. Like the dialouge and set up and progress of event is like a stroy game not unlike what they have today. Yes, the graphics are not nearly as good, but yeah like 12 years laters. But still just look, you see the basic design, this was what started all of it, this lead up to the near real life graphics they have these days. (cont.)
