  • 360 FTW

  • Foi no clarão da lua

    que eu vi acontecer

    num vale-tudo com o jiu-jitsu

o Capoeira vencer!!! :DD BASED ON THIS :p

  • Guy in black shorts should have had a bit of courage and closed the gap. I would have handed this guy his ass on a plate with all that jumping around shit, so much wasted energy! Don't give them space to get the kicks in guys!

  • I like this guys fake name, "MARCUS AURELIUS" last time I checked that was the name of a Latin Roman Emperor who ruled rome along the side of LUCIUS VERUS.You know he got his fighting name straight from the lead actor in the movie Gladiaters.

  • 2:52 Hahaha EPIC FAIL!

  • what is this kick called? the one that knocked yhe guy out? 2:43? thanks i appreciate it :)

  • 360 is not HD!!!

  • CAPOEIRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! SOMENTE CAPOEIRA!!!! CAPOEIRA É TUDO MESMO!!! VAMOS VALORIZAR NOSSA ARTE!!!

  • i worked with the arelio brothers theyre really nice in person

  • what the fuck this guy has the most athletic corner team of all times did u see them come flying over the ropes after the ko

  • This Martial Art seems very good for intimidating. But if your opponent keeps a clear enough head and good enough timing to close the gap, you may be caught in a nasty position. But then... that's why you learned all those other martial arts, isn't it?

  • dis isnt adviceable 4 d streets wat if u get pushed while flippin :P u might get paralysed

for d streets i advice judo, wrestling, boxing, kickboxing, vale tudo, BJJ,silat,or just be like me Karate(street style):kyokoushin, shotokan, but not CAPOEIRA u might hurt urself in a freal

  • @kcBombe true story :I

  • okk everyone calm down i kno dis knock out wuz crazy but u hav 2 admit dat white boy was careless,i do shotokan karate, and a jaamaican who wanted to start karate in my club, wen it was break time he started doin crazy flips, den he told us dat he had been practicin capoeira for 6years,den a brown belt told him dat his flips were useless,d capoeira dude got furious and challenged him all d brown belt did was just to kick him off balance while he was jumpin and he fell and injured himself

  • Hm.....o barulho que faz da pesada chega da dó kkkkkkkkkkkk

  • It looks like the capoeira guy is limping at the very end sort of. Did he get hurt somehow landing wrong or something?

  • @MaharlikaAWA

I heard he busted his foot with the kick. Lets be honest that kick lands one in ten.Been to many of these shows.

  • If

  • Capoeira is really awesome !!

  • For most of you talking shit most of mma ufc champions are brazilliand and most come from a capoera background. Mma has bin in brazil for way longer than in america tru fack we are far from running the show. Most of the trainers in america for mma fighters are from brazil who have capoera backgrounds so anyone els have something inteligent to say??

  • @TheLiryco well said.

  • @TheLiryco you better be from brazil, because your spelling and grammar is HORRIBLE.

  • 2:48 Proo 2:50 Amateur AHAHAHAHXd

  • Good job!

  • What a lucky kick. Capoeira never gonna be a great martial art. The guy who has been koed, was unprepared, for the kick, for the enemy and the fight.

  • @Siegwinged if fighters are not ready, better be not on the stage. respect all kind of martial art. if u underestimate martial art...juz one of them, u will get kicked like da guy in the video.

  • after the 1st kick teh mma didnt know wat he do...its pretty clear that he lost cuz he didnt know how to counter the move or even evade it. he just stood there then the 2nd kick came boom ko.

and ppl stop saying capoeira is just a silly dnace =-= how many times are we gonna tell u ITS A DEADLY MA LIKE ANY OTHER FREAKING 1

  • lets be honest! we cant tell if the mma guy had a clue of fighting ! marcus defenately did ...

  • i love how people makin excuses, its lethal like any other style so wake up!

  • apparently his opponent doesnt know how to circle or shoot a takedown hahaha

  • Capoeria is better when added to a different martial arts its what MMA is all about throwing different things in

  • Way to risky in a fight.

  • IN THE FAAAAACE!!!!!

  • ive been thinking about taking capoeira but i was told not to.everyone said it was only good for show not fights. now imma be postin dis shit on facebook with a caption: "only good for show huh?"

  • Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i don't even know how many times i played 2:44 over again

    i must of lost count

  • boom, headshot. this dude is a head hunter on a killing spree.

  • Zum , zum , zum , capoeira mata um Zum , zum , zum Quem entendeu da joinha!!

  • @87570664

Capoeira mata um, capoeira mata dois, capoeira mata três!

  • CAPOEIRA RULES!!!!

  • this guy came to my school to do a presentation on capoeira

  • niiiice! :D

  • It was entertaining ... That wont work outside the ring, i dont need that, I got a gun.

  • @DonNene74 It's better to die like a tiger... then live life a PUSSY

  • @vinnybless Pussy becomes Tigers, and Tigers become Jackets ...... Happy Halloween !!!

  • @DonNene74 LMFAO

  • @DonNene74 LOOL, only the weak use guns, ahh, you are a weak kkk

  • Comment removed

  • @luis3boss what????? KKK? ..... I most be the first Black KKK ..... I meant that as a joke , sarcasm ...... do you know what that is or you need me to draw it to you?

  • @DonNene74 ya true, everyones a pussy these days, it isnt just you.

  • @vinnybless and this is coming from a guy named Vinny? ...... is so easy to argue behind a monitor when your mommy Is protecting you. Don't quit your day job, which is blowing .... Obrigado for your time , Fagg

  • the idiot capoeira man managed to injury his leg in 20 secs of fight hahaha

  • Hope you find success and show us what Capoeira is capable of like Lyoto Machida and Karate, Cung Le and Tae-kwon-do!

  • Press 5 for fight start.

  • It's a cool video but can't deny the other guy was a noob, what type of defense is that?

I practiced Capoeira and we all know it is a great work out and a good show, but there is a reason why there are not many mma fighters who practice Capoeira and the ones who practice don't go as far as winning a tittle.

  • @BRIANPOGGIO They don't go that far because they try to be flashy and do all kinds of acrobatics..If you put a real mestre in the ring it would be way different. They know not to turn there back on a 300lb opponent.

  • @BRIANPOGGIO That's why we mix capoeira's basic defense and kicks with some offensive from other martial arts! Making like a super ninja kind of capoeira xD

  • @BRIANPOGGIO So is the guy a knob or was the capoeira effective? It seems u have not trained with a groupo that included a decent amount of fight training. "Great work out and good for show" ?? where did u train man? doesn t sound like u trained with a very good group .There aren t many mma fighters who practice capoeira because capoeira is very new to mma. did you think it would instantly become a success and bring titles home over night? Anderson Silva trains capoeira and uses it in the ring

  • Hmm, I could see someone cross-training in Capoeira and coming out like a boss. You don't want to be relying on it all the time, but throw a kick like that when he's not expecting it and... well, see video.

  • @Idekii Thank you very much...people keep saying Capoeira is shit because you can't rely solely on it...but what these idiots forget is that a pure wrestler or a pure muay thay fighter would probably get their asses handed to them in a mma fight, but that doesn`t make those style shit...

IMO capoeira is a great way to train your flexibility and agility, your conditioning, and have a few hard to hit but also hard to predict kicks under your sleeves...

  • That guy would fuck me up any day but against a legit fighter he would get fucked.

  • who don't like, go to watch pictures

  • capoeira is similar to tricking, which is part of xma, and xma gets a really bad rap in the martial arts community, but ironically capoeira worked really well in this fight. it just proves that the art doesn't matter as much as the skill does.

  • Agora sim vi que capoeira é funcional no mma..

  • AEEE QUE CHUTE ! VAMOO BRASIL !!!

  • nice kick man, but you shouldn't talk too much...

  • Wait wait wait wait, your name is Marcus Aurelius? Like the Roman Emperor? INSTANT BADASS

  • hahahahah best kick ever.

  • the dude he knocked out just really sucked...he has so many opportunities to attack but didn't go in.

  • actually the enemy its a newbie, look his defense when he gets the kick, THERE WASNT DEFENSE lol!

  • @XenoNyNeon yea true but if you saw a dude doing crazy stuff that is unexpected, then you get distracted by the movement and dont know where to block

  • now tell me that capoeira is useless :D

  • @xXNickeZXx for the most part it is. the whiteguy has never seen this before and got caught with his hands down. there are no fighters that use this as their primary style in the pro mma circuits. it is all glitz and iznt effective. wrestling /kickboxing /and bjj/ will forever be the three important styles one must train to make it in MMA. muy thai judo and taekwondo have important kicks and clinch tactics and throws as well

  • @jiminycricket69 aww ok i understand ... thank you ; guess thats why its called MixedMartialArts

  • @xXNickeZXx yeah good. capoeira is not something someone trains exclusively in if they plan on winning a mma or even street fight. all that spin shit is trash bro. iwouldv covered my head and once heez done doin his 360s id take him down and GnP. or id sidestep and then high kick him in the dome. capoeira is not that great

  • @jiminycricket69 True. It's too flashy to be effective in a UFC event. This is minor league stuff. Top fighters are too smart to fall for it. Think about all the energy you would waste doing all the flying shit!

  • gah damn.. that was clean

  • Meia Lua che com paso its half moon with a step

  • whats the name of the kick that he ko'd him with?

  • @superschmuck its "Meia Lua". it means "half moon"

  • did anyone notice "jump into ring FAIL" at 2:50? hahahah

  • @RUSNJAK2525 yes, HAHAHAHA!

  • @RUSNJAK2525 lol, but it's better to watch it in slow motion at 3:18

  • Damn that was a speedy meia lua de compasso.

  • loooool notice the man fall into the ring at 2:52

  • @peedotkay94 errrrrrr no, he flipped over the rope u noob.

  • @TheTomCorbett yea flip over and land on your ass???? you must be very stupid m8

  • Marcus Aurelios!!! He truely is a Gladiator... Sick kick man

  • capoeira is awesome, i just got my first belt

  • I love it when both his pals just fly into the ring to congratulate him.

  • 2:52 the best xD

  • @robo81dark Anderson Silva also trains in capoeira. No bs I think there is a video floating around on youtube too.

  • @MrJunglemike Of course he does. Black Brazilians are the ones who started it. It's his culture.

  • Hahahaha the guy does a flip over the ropes.... Capoeiristas ftw!

  • Well he has a future in break dancing I.cant believe that worked but it was kool

  • isnt this guy the true emperor of Rome Russel Crowe was on about in gladiator ?

  • skip to 2:22 to watch fight

  • Brasil up in this club!

  • I give props to him winning but he ain't all that like he makes himself to be...its Aight!

  • 3:52 he was like wtf did just happen??

  • Skip to 2:24 to go straight to the fight.

  • First time I saw a fighter than doesn't shave his chest.

  • @lisedengrumme How much have you watched? There are quite a few that don't...most are quite popular

  • @MrPhenomenal7 Not enough apparently :) didn't watch that many I admit. I like hair on a man so it's a compliment, definitely!

  • looks like that style uses a lot of energy. I'd like to see how he fights in a 5 round fight.

  • That ring girls ass is riDONKulous.

  • Quem veio do Omelete.com.br dá um joinha.

  • @caraingles Eu vim, há 10 segundos atrás. Rsrsrs.

  • poh podee cree, tem ki ganhar uma chance nah UFC!!!!

  • so would this be considered regional style or contemporary capoeira?

  • Wow that white guy showed no skills!

  • Did he say his name is Marcus Aurelius?

  • @z0mgrugbyreturns

Guess Brazilians often name their kids after historic or religious personalities. I remember seeing someone on TV named "Jésus".

  • i didn't know HD was 360p

  • lol, im from brasil and i play capoeira.. i wish i could get that better..

  • Why you shouldnt pay more than 5.99$ for green screen footage:

  • That was fucking insane

  • zum.zum,zum...Capoeira mata um....zum,zum,zum....Brazil man!!

  • HAHAHAHAHA R.I.P !!! That's what happens when the Yanks tries to chest to chest us !!

  • it would have been pants shittingly awesome if the announcer had actually announced the kick as a meia lua de compasso.

  • GOD DAMN. That's awesome.

  • That was fucking awesome! I believe in MMA principles, like training takedowns, strikes, and groundwork. But, when you reach a level where you are evenly matched in that skill set you have to take it to the next level. Giant, perfectly-timed kick to the sweet spot will do the trick on a guy with good grappling, boxing, and wrestling skills, when you have your timing down.

  • should have closed the distance when he had the chance

  • The guy who got knocked out could have easily blocked that. It's called ametuer fighting for a reason.

  • @KingAlexander2008 blocked, fuck no. that kick would fly right through your block. but otherwise avoid? maybe, by closing the distance? yes, he definitely could have.

  • Tremendo rabo de arraia na cara :P

  • wont get far with that technique. he got lucky.

  • Capoeira is very nice... to watch. But don't work good as a fight style. I've seen even a Karate fighter win a "capoeirista" in a Shidokan tournament in Brazil. Any jiu jitsu fighter can cancel the "capoeira game" or ginga. The north american was just naive in the fight. But was a great fight tho, professor Barraozinho is a great capoeirista, dunno why he isn't master yet.

  • Thats was unreal nice

  • YOU GOT KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT BITCH

  • I always thougt capoeira would come into its own, however modified. It requires alot of cardio and upper body strength and balance. Add to that submission and u good

  • @bastardluv also a tiny bit of boxing then youll be good

  • EL FUERTE !!!!!!!

  • Maybe if the guy didnt keep his hands down and have his face literally leaning into the kick it would have been impressive, who the fuck trained that guy?

On a side note, that kick was fucking solid, that was a heel-to-face connection, I wonder if that guy's face get all busted up, I wouldnt be surprised if he broke something.

  • Didn't see that second kick coming did he?

  • It only takes one punch, kick or submission to finish a fight. Does it matter what style it is....anyone that can throw a good punch or kick can finish a fight, even the best fighters in the world know this. A wins a win and thats that

  • Nice.... But they do tend to only knock out guys that can't fight.

  • He Eddie Gordoed hid jaw off holly shit

  • for all those who say that capoiera and all the impressive martial arts are just shit.. :)

  • Oooo shit dana u fucking watching what u waiting for this is a superstar in the making

  • isso ai sim é o estili brasileiro!

  • i wan to learn capoiera ><

    anybody got links tutorial ?

    gv me pls ...x1000000 plz

  • @kwaizaiidol u cant learn capoeira through the internet...look for a group in ur location :)

  • He looked shocked when his kick landed!

  • que sapatada!

  • noss cara q dó

  • It's great to know that the roman empire is still alive and kicking.

  • i doubt anyone got this hahaha

  • Dude it's Eddie Gordo

  • Why wouldnt he just move in, rather than backing up and taking the full force of the blow?

  • 2:44 :)))

  • He had no fucking idea what's coming.

  • olha o cara caindo no lado esquerdo em 2:51

  • fixed match? i don't know just asking but it seems like he put his guard down after the first hit

  • かっこいい

  • This wouldn't have happened in a cage. He would have just circled around. Here's an idea white boy; wait until he invariably spins his back to you, take it, put him on the floor, and pound the obnoxious spinning out of him. Or, you could just stand in a corner and wait for one of the flying kicks to just knock you out...your choice.

  • @BrannonMcConkey im sure hes reading your comment and thinking this nerd is right... it was a bad ass knockout. just appreciate it for what it is rather than criticize it. the white guy was just simply a bad fighter... theres alot of those out there.

  • @miranduh90 Uhh, no. I don't appreciate it. The white guy was a bad fighter on this night and in the ring at least. Several contingencies here, one of which was this being a ring and not an octagon, the corner boxes the fighter in. How about you worry about what you "appreciate," and I will worry about what I "appreciate."

  • Successful transitions of capoeira into mma usually lose the bogus stance... they adopt a kickboxers stance with a lot more movement. If you don't believe there is a place for capoeira in mma, just ask Anderson Silva why he trains capoeira.... he is a yellow rope and I think we all know how deadly he is.

  • @vancitypuff I'm considering taking Capoeira lessons, they are free in my college. But I'm not sure, I have to convince myself of its utility in real situations. Any other ideas that might convince an skeptic. I'm considering Krav Maga, Muay Thai ot Arnis as other options. Thanks

  • @italouruguayricano Absolutely but beware bogus Krav teachers, they flood vancouver and most of them are garbage. Krav Maga taught properly by a good coach can be deadly. I would take the free capoeira as its only gonna improve whatever next martial art you take. I personally take muay thai, boxing, and submission wrestling.

  • @vancitypuff We know he's deadly b/c of his Muay Thai. That, I feel, is rather obvious. Rack up whatever ego-boosting "belts" or "ropes" you want. He's also a black belt in Taekwondo, which is a good base, but not what he is using to finish fights. Additionally, Silva is a freak fighter with incredible speed and motor skills. In summation, it ain't the yellow rope that makes Silva the monster that he is.

  • Capoeira <3.

  • Skip to 2:20 for fight

  • BRASIL NOSSA COR REPRESENTANDO LIDERANÇA NO MUNDO
