Not too high gain on my overdrive channel (about 1/3rd) quite alot (too much) treble, about a third middle and 2/3rd bass.

I believe this was still Drop D. Paramore plays it in Drop C# live nowadays tho. This liveversion I played with is pretty old, but it might've been drop C# already, I'm not 100% sure.

I dont think he ever painted his gibson in goldtop tbh. Think it's always been Honeyburst. I didn't know he had a honeyburst les paul when I bought mine btw, only started listening to Paramore about 1,5 years ago when he was already playing his Tele. =)

My English is rather good. Alot of Dutch people, especially older ones have an accent that is kinda hard to decribe but I guess you could say they pronounce most long sounds like the R or I really short. But I personally don't really have an accent at all... :P

And I know music from the USA because most small countries in Europe watch alot of American TV-programs and listen to American music. =)

MTV. It's Dutch MTV but it's just dutch commercials and stuff, the programs are just American with dutch subtitles. =)

But we also have stuff like CSI, NCIS, ER, ALias and whatnot. There's basically no dutch series like that except for a couple of soaps. ^^ I mean why would u want to watch dutch programs if u can have hollywood programs instead? :P

So good. Not gonna lie, I'm jelous of how well you play... Got any tips on learning lead? 'Cause I agree, the rhythm is pretty easy to play on this song, but I can't move fast enough to play lead.

Hehe np. I'm self taught, start a year and 4 months ago. I'm probably gonna take lessons soon tho. Just to improve my technique and stuff a bit. I have a little advice for you about the lead. I'm assuming you can't move your fret-hand fast enough, you could do as I did and just keep your fingers still by laying down the index finger over all of the 14th frets so u only need to take away the other 2 fingers. If you ment you can't have your pick-hand to move fast enough, just practice ALOT :P

And yeh basically you have to be really fucking fast to play the chorus' lead after the verses lead and even Josh plays it this way live since it's almost impossible play as on the album. Basically leave the last 2 5 and 6's out and play the loop half a bar earlier. It even sounds cooler in my opinion but maybe that's just cuz I'm so used to josh playing it like that.

I'm using a Marshall Valvestate 8240. I totally love it's sound even tho on the movies it sounds a bit worse than in real life.

And no I've never play on a les paul goth but I think it's comparable to my guitar, maybe a little bit cheaper. But most Epi's are nice anyways ^^
