  • im tryin to sell my 01 v6 and get like a 96 gt. I mean mine looks nice and all its a gt clone pretty much but it lacks the badass exhaust tone and the horsepower. Anyone else in the same spot?

  • tbh, theres practically no drone as it depends on your crusing RPM, which mine is below 2000RPM @ 70MPH with 3.27's & TKO600 + IRS quiets the exhaust a bit because of the flow.

  • you have to use a swivel socket 18 with an extension.

  • thanks man :] its a custom welded catback with flowmaster mufflers so it sounds "different" from regular flowmaster CB's,

  • how much did that cost u? ive found a complete set of heads for 700 on ebay and passed it up. oh and did it hurt ur gas milieage much cuz im not sure if i can afford 93 oct AND a drop in mileage. i drive alot needless to say.

  • actually 700 is average price. i got my set for about... 700 after all parts needed to swap(gaskets / head changing kit / coolant tube etc...) and it was for an '04 H/C/I w/ 15k miles w/ fully recondition+valve job (everything minus a port job).

  • if you end up doing the pi swap, a 91/93octane dynoTUNE is highly recommended or the jump in compression can mess up your car's internal (causing too much stress then knocking) like it did to mine, but now i have a fully built motor. and all honesty, i gained about... 6mpg w/ the new valvetrain, going from 12mpg to 18mpg city. :] thats with the stock gears 2.73
