All opinions welcome. I'm a southern Cali girl, with 3 children and decided to move rto Yakima, (more economic) than California. Is it worth making the change?
i want to visit yakima wa is this a good or bad idea ? i have a friend there and just want to know if im wasteing my time or not ? how far is yakima from seattle ? thanks for the input
@jeryl1968 i know u posted this about 3 months ago, but yakima is about 2 hours away, and in my opinion not worth visiting, im a younger guy and there isnt anything to do but go wine tasting, i live in the lower valley and there is even less to do, just keep driving and an hour and a half or so is the tri-cities which isnt all that better but its better than the yakima valley
@jeryl1968 Umm idk if this would help since u posted 11 months ago but here we go....Yakima is a pretty decent place about 2 hours away from seattle. Try to stay away from the SouthEast hood or any hood in Yakima for that matter. So i guess it would be a good time to be here depends on how long u want to stay. U could go to clubs or just chill outside depends on wat kind of person u r. Over all i would say it would be nice place to visit and stay for maybe a week or two
WOW that building brings back memories for sure. What is it called again? Also, can you tell me if the downtown mall was in fact closed down? Or if Ron's used coin and book is still around? I went to McKinley Elementary by the way :)
Didn't use to be that way, son. I knew a valley and a city that was clean, hardworking, friendly, and with little crime. Now, the city and valley have gone to hell.
