  • Hi, great video! I'm planning to buy a victoria bassman. My question: how much headroom does it have?

    Thanks!

  • @bille77 Tons! Unless you are playing stadiums it's all you will need. The hard part is to make it break up...it needs to be VERY loud. ...but when it's loud and breaking up it's amazing!. I did a clip of my 45410 breaking up search for it on my page.

  • @mrcali68 thanks!

  • Beautiful , out of every fuzz pedal you have and have tried , what is your absolute favorite ? Thick , versatile , not muddy and works well with both single coils and humbuckers ? Please let me know and thank you for taking the time :)

  • 725 dollars used

  • My search for Fuzz has ended. Now if I can only track one of the D*A*M things down.

I wonder how it compares to a Cornish.

  • Good question! I'd love to try one of those!

  • please what kind of pickup you have

  • Kinman AVN Blues Pickups

  • Damn thats good...best youtube videos right hear!!!

  • Thanks!

  • I really want a good fuzz... I have a big muff but that's not cuttin it so I'm in the market for something new. I really want like a Hendrix, Yardbirds/Early Zeppelin and Early Pink Floyd sound. Any suggestions?

  • Sounds like you need a MKII of some sort. The D*A*M is really expensive and hard to find but there are other really good one's out there. I also really love the Sweetsound Pro Bender but they are really hard to find.

I've never tried the following but I have good things:

Pro Analog MK I, II, III

    MJM Effects Brit Bender

    Throbak Stone Bender

    Fulltone Pro Bender

  • Ooops sorry I meant Fulltone SOUL Bender

  • what about the BYOC MKll

  • I've never tried one of those but I have read good things about them on The Gear Page.

  • A Dunlop Hendrix Fuzz Face.

It's cheap and the same kind of Fuzz Face as David Gilmour used in the early days (notably for Live at Pompeii) and what Hendrix used in the end.

  • what transistors are in this one, chris? sounds great.

  • HI, Thanks! That one has the OC75's. Absolutely incredible pedal.

  • Oh yeah, this is a cool sounding pedal! I've been lamenting over what fuzz I should buy for months now - I think this is a serious contender though they're quite expensive this side of the equator!

  • that Nash Strat is really something else, and what a fat sounding combo with the DAM. i've got an original Tone bender at home, and the DAM sound as good... damn!! lol!!

    Rob

  • You have an original Tone Bender??? Man I gotta hear that! Any chance of a clip? :)

  • yeah, good idea!! if you don't mind the noodling... seems like i never find anything cool to play. i just blank as soon as i press record.

    Rob

  • Dude, that my standard MO!! Whatever come to mind!
