  • You're kind of a douche, testing a gun you admit you don't even like.

  • Any pistol cartridge is underpowered to kill someone instantly(well a 500 S&W might work good). Trigger is fixed in 20 minutes with removal of 2 springs. If 17 rounds of 9mm isn't enough gun for someone, I suggest some lifestyle changes or a .308 semi auto rifle.

  • @crankbearing I prefer 9 rounds of .45 to 20 rounds of 9 mm. That's just me though.

  • I own one myself and the trigger is not difficult at all since I have hands and fingers like any other man. : ) Thanks for the review though....

  • Worst review I have seen on youtube EVER!

  • I like the ergonomic feel to it -- for the price, I couldn't refuse!

  • Sigma shoot great, way better than a glock.

  • @sigmaoverglocks I'm not a Glock fan at all. I don't care for the Sigma much but I would take it over a Glock unless of course I wanted a 10mm or .45 ACP.

  • COD = calling military ppl "operators" *roll eyes*

  • The Punch is an the Ammo...Try Winchester Ranger +P T-Series...+P is the highest pressure rating the gun can shoot...It's Lethal...

  • Don't knock it before u try it

  • A 9mm doesnt pack enough punch? really? that must be why the us army uses it huh, genius? stiff trigger, well if its new, another duh! you dont like any of the features but it shoots well and costs half the money of anything else in its class. I owned one and it was great. I only let it go so I could upgrade. helluva lot better than the hi-point brick piece of crap.

  • @MrSuperbombastik Most of the US Special Forces opt for a .45 actually since they have a choice over what they carry. The others just use the 9 mm because they don't have any say over what they carry. Also triggers don't get lighter just from shooting them, only from modifying or replacing them.

  • this was my first gun. i realy can't complain about it; it was super reliable, and rigged, but not real accurate. i had trouble hitting the target from 10 yards with it. it made me really work to wring out any accuracy from it. after awhile, when i became i better shooter, i upgraded to a 1911. the grip is a lot better than a Glcok grip, in any case.

  • I got this gun new for $99 when I bought a Smith & Wesson M&P15. I hated the trigger pull, could not hit anything until I did some work on the springs. There is one spring you can remove and another you can replace. Brought the pull down to 3 pounds from over 8. WOW, what a difference. I don't recommend any one doing this unless you know what you are doing and have the comfort to deal with a hair trigger. But I have real small hands and short fingers.

  • Guys I found the price for this gun $303.00 is this a great deal or the usual price for this gun?

  • You can adjust the trigger pull easily in about 5 minutes by removing a spring. Makes the trigger a lot smoother. Not a bad pistol for a glock knock-off.

  • you can change the trigger pull i forgot what its called sorry not helpful i just know it runs about 20-30 bucks ask your local dealer

  • I own this gun and for me i think its great! (for the price i paid) trigger pull is heavy but you get use to it.

  • @ebioaxt Yeah I can't really think of anything better in the price range.

  • @MrSurgicalPrecision Current MSRP is $349.00 on one of these. I'd say that street price is fairly normal.

  • @MrSurgicalPrecision a Keltec. :P

  • I like how you changed your mind after shooting it. So many people rip this gun until they actually fire it...If your used to single action I could understand your apprehension, but you can obviously hit what you want!

  • the reason the accesory rail stops short is cuz it only holds smith and wesson accesories

  • i love mines its a pretty good gun the acc and it will get the job done

  • I was gonna say.... My sigma 9mm is a GREAT GUN as a matter of fact... Be that the price is rite im buying the 40 cal this weekend..! The 9 packs " more punch " then u think... And i didnt have trouble finding a laser flash light combo for it at all.... Nxt time u review a fire arm u gotta b open minded alil!

  • not enough punch?....i pack a beretta 92 a 9mm..i dont see anyone getting up and saying... really? a 9mm?? can i please have another im still hungry & i bought this gun and it was my first handgun and i loved it just saying awesome gun

  • Can you think of anything better than this in the 250-300 dollar range?

  • where were you shooting at? its looks like a really nice place.

  • Great video man. Such an interesting gun just because of how much they cost. I'm cheap =P

  • @FireArmsResQ Yeah they're outstanding for the money. I'm not much of a pistol guy in the first place and I hate most DA only guns. The only DA I've shot that I did like was a XD(M) in 9mm. Being a big rifle shooter I love short crisp triggers so I guess I'm just going to have to pick up a 1911.

  • @MrSurgicalPrecision

I try to always respect other peoples opinions but why exactly don't you like the 9mm? 16 round magazine is better than a 8 round with a 1911. The average human torso is 13 inches thick and a 9mm hollow point will penetrate 14 inches of ballistics gel after going through denim at 10 yards. Those bullets usually expand to about .6 inches or 60 caliber. To me that sounds effective. I might be biased since I carry a 9mm but I just cannot see why so many people hate it.

  • @tubevideoguy762 I wouldn't say I hate the 9 mm, it's just not my first, or even second choice. A better comparison would be a Springfield XD in .45 ACP, which holds 12 or 13 rounds. A 230 grain hollowpoint is going to stop whatever it hits for sure. IMO

  • @MrSurgicalPrecision

Okay I understand that a modernized .45 pistol would be your first choice so if a 9mm isn't your second choice then what is? A .40 caliber? .357 sig or magnum? It just seems like since people are killed all the time with .22s a 9mm is way more powerful than what the .22 is or .25 or .32 or .380 or .38 special but whatever the .45 is still an awesome round.

  • @tubevideoguy762 Yes a .40 would be my second choice followed by a 9 mm then a .357 mag revolver or .357 Sig Auto. Just keep in mind I'm not a very precise shooter with a handgun so I don't want to worry about shot placement. If I hit my target, I want it to go down. I guess I'm just a died in the wool, hardcore .45 ACP fanboy. Oh well.

  • @MrSurgicalPrecision

Nah thats cool but for someone who doesn't want to worry about shot placement one of those .410 shotgun revolvers with either a slug or 000 buckshot. Within a distance of 10 yards or less a bad guy is gonna go down!

  • I've had mine in .40 S&W for a couple years now. I complain about it all the time, but still keep it. The trigger is a real bear, but after adjusting myself (I kept shooting to the left trying to pull that trigger) I've found it to be pretty accurate and reliable. I've only had two FTF's in the 2,000 rounds I've put through it. Both were my fault, my hand had worked it's way up trying to pull that trigger and the slide whacked it, turning it into a meat slicer LOL. Not a great gun, but not bad

  • @capriracer351 My thoughts exactly, good, not great.

  • Thanks man, I don't BS anybody and nobody is paying me for this so you'll always get an honest review from me.

  • that was one of the best and honest reviews ive seen.good job

  • do you mind me asking how much you let it go for

  • @jmike8886 Don't remember for sure but I think it was $250.

  • If you dont like the gun ill take it off ur hands how much would you want for it?

  • @jmike8886 I sold it a month after I made this video.

  • hey if it dont pack a lot of punch how about go for a .40 cal

  • @yoyojamk1d I'm a .45 guy. This gun has been gone from my collection for over a year. Not a fan of the 9mm.

  • oh my god, it's seth rogen but if he lost like 30 pounds

  • @jellybeans714 30 lbs? More like 100 pounds and no curly hair. I only weigh 160 lbs!

  • I own the same Pistol. As with any gun, practice makes perfect. I enjoy my SW9VE. Yes the trigger is a little heavy, but I got used to mine. Sigma 9 isn't for everybody. I find it to be accurate and dependable. Good Video!

  • good review, i like glocks and berettas personally but youre right for the price its pretty good. Keep up the reviews

  • @themarsdrivein I grew to hate this gun after rapid firing two magazines through it. I felt like my trigger finger was going to fall off! Still an alright gun, well worth the money, but nowhere near the Glock, XD, or M&P.

  • i love my sigma. something different. not as great as my 1911 but i wanted to try something without a hammer. ive always had pistols with hammers and looked it over and got it. mainly wanted to try something without a hammer and didnt want to spend much money. but the trigger is the downfall but like he said you get used to it after a couple of rounds. i would recomend it to any first time buyer. or anyone else on that fact. its just a good solid gun. buy it, try it youll like it

  • as for the trigger you could remove a pigtail spring in the trigger housing and have a 5-7 pound trigger.

  • @michaelmutch blocked and removed. suck a tool now no one will see your comment. ALL TROLLS WILL BE BLOCKED AND REMOVED.

  • Nice Review with shooting. keep 'em coming.subbed

  • @zenanskig Thank you very much.

  • I've had my Sigma 9mm for 2 years now and absolutly love it. I never had an issue with it at all. Iam not really sure what everyones complaint about the trigger is. My friends and I shoot this gun very acuratly. It is so easy to Field Strip and clean. Also its made in the U.S.A. The warranty is lifetime aswell. Keep Americans working by buying American made firearms.

  • @birdlobby Well being more of a rifle guy myself the trigger is about as bad as can be. I prefer the triggers on 1911s and such, my next handgun WILL be a Kimber, also American made ;) It's a good gun, especially for the money, but it's just not for me. Two magazines and my trigger finger hurts from the extra strain of pulling the trigger.

  • @MrSurgicalPrecision If you have a Gander Mountain near you their Gun Smith can adjust your trigger down to 5.5lb for $50.

  • the trigger pull of the S&W sigma is 9.1lbs, compared to 5.2lbs for the Glock model 19

  • @Trojan136 Yes it is insanely heavy. Never shot a Glock but I'm pretty sure they are far superior to the Sigma.

  • If you're gonna go with a 9mm it would be good idea to check out the ruger p95. Awsome gun and it costs about the same. Not that theres anything major wrong with the sigma but the p95 is a nicer 9mm.

  • I'm personally a critic of the 9mm preferring the .45 ACP or at least .40 S&W for autos. I've handled the P95 and you're right they are very fine weapons from what I could tell.

  • This gun is out of my collection as of a week ago. It was a good gun for the price but I got $250 bucks out of it and that partially covered the new Sabre barrel on my 6.5 Grendel AR so bye bye!

  • Its funny because I just turned 21 and when I took the CCW class this was the gun that I shot. I had never shot a gun before then and I felt comfortable with it I let off 100 rounds Its easy to operate and I'm really thinking about making it my first gun. Its not that bad at all.

  • At the price keep it! They do not have great resell value. I should have kept my 40 but the trigger killed me too. All in all worth the price. Fabio loves his and I am still waiting for the Glock review? lol

  • Gotta Love the SIGMA. check out my videos,i lightened my trigger to the SIGMA 9mm

  • Cool, thanks.

  • Just bought this in .40 last week. New outthedoor $330, getting $50 back for a rebate. Can't beat it for $280. Thought the trigger would be worse but I agree, after shooting it and getting used to it, not bad at all. I think this is a hell of a gun and can't be beat for a .40 with the price of $280! Mine has two 14 round mags. I like it alot. Lots of folk discount it as a junk gun cuz of the price. Glock lovers hate it. 100 rounds so far and no hiccups, works awesome.

  • I got the 9VE for my first gun and i love it, when i get some cash ahead I will be picking up the .40 sigma. but I can hardly afford 9mm ammo haha.

  • yeah the .40 would be my choice but I picked up this gun in trade and didnt have a choice in calibers. Wish they made a .45

  • @cfle08 Yeah I put a few more through it the other day and I'm thinkin I may keep it now. It just can't be beat for the money. I don't think you can pick up many handguns in this price range that will be as weel built.
