  • the at will policy is highly flawed it grants an unfair advantage in favour of the employer thats why it should be done away with.

  • The fact is that "at will" is a tough spot to be in and it does encourage employers to be brazen in their practices. After all, how many people have the money and time to take an employer on? Not a lot. Unions have a value but sadly are in decline.

  • What if the employer handbook specifies steps they have to go through before they make the decision to fire an employee....Then what? Can a at will employee still get fired without notice or for anything?
