  • Worst DJ Ever

  • Oh god. She can't even listen to make sure the songs are in the same key first? She is the worst person alive.

  • if see can play along side five djs without anyone knowing whos the ipad dj id say sees playing to a deaf audience fuck sake the tracks warnt in time or key

  • she's doing it wrong :(

  • ROFL... Honestly it's just amazing to see how people try and push for a greater usability of a device that's just really overrated. (iPad)

Just because of this huge hype that everyones on about people are trying to force applications onto it, which apparently betters our lives, when in actual fact those products/applications are hybrids of products that we're already accustomed to using on other devices, that work much better on those devices.

  • Those weren't beatmatched properly at all.

  • This is embarrassing.

  • seems like shes trying to reinvent the wheel :S

the concept of touch screen has been around a while its called a Lemur, while yes....it is 2000$ but 2 of the cheapest iPads are 549 each. (adding up to ~1100$) yes there is also the cost of ableton and a laptop to factor in. But what the lemur does vs. what an iPad TRIES to do are 2 whole diff things. So far the only remotely good DJing touch app is TouchOSc however theres a problem/reliability problem due to the fact that its on wireless....

  • WEAK SAUCE

  • how is this idiot getting paid for this trash she is doing

  • despite what she says, seems a lot less "organic" than some regular deckz.

  • wow she actually does live shows... worst dj, however interesting concept

  • she is so focused on what she is doing on those IPADS, she has not even recognized the crowd.. Stick to a studio sweetie, you have NO idea how to do a live CROWD set, you have to incorporate a crowd to get a live gig going

  • Its like she's DJ'ing but someone stabbed her in the ears before she started.

  • im gonna be sick

  • HURRRRRRRRRRRRR LOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEEE

  • i do not approve whatsoever. it makes me upset that ppl who don't know anything about djing will pay her/watch her/give her credit as tho shes amazing

  • an organic way to dj would be turntables, mixer, and your ears to beat match. Even a Cdj is well accepted than someone who thinks they know what they are doing on an iPad

  • no elaboration is required - rana june youre a poser and you suck

  • Nice demo! Shared it at iPad Music on facebook.

  • cool concept...terrible dj.

  • Used to be a time when D.J.ing was an art that took years to master, and just like everything else, they simplify it and try to say it's the same thing. "I" was/am/always will be a "REAL" D.J. When you can spin and scratch on 4 Technic 1200's at the same time honey, come see me, then and ONLY then will you be able to even begin to consider yourself a DJ.(WANNABE)!!!

  • @gr8est48fan I bet when you started DJ'ing there was only one way to be a DJ. Now there are multiple ways to do the same thing. Now people, who don't have years to invest in learning your craft, can also express themselves with music, and do so much faster then you. Don't get me wrong, a "real" DJ using real turntables takes some amazing skills to master, but that does not invalidate the end result of someone who does it another way. Maybe not her, but she will get better just like you did.

  • @gr8est48fan djing is still an art even when its controlled through digital means. beat matching is a skill, but that doesn't make someone a good dj. it is an art to create truely "hypnotic" sets and to know how to play to the crowd, pushing them away, bringing them back, creatin tension. weather u use vinyl, cdjs, traktor, ableton or this app its the result that counts, but yes, that was a terrible set from all angles, and the app looks pretty shit - traktor pro or ableton are far superior.

  • Is this how self aggrandizing you have to be in this industry?

  • The first mixed seemed very forced, but I like the second one.. until she added "Break your heart"... but very interesting concept.. DJing on a laptop is difficult, bulky and annoying..finally I logic use for the ipad
