  • so let me get this straight....if i download a song that costs less than $0.99.....the record company loses $750!!!!

    .

im no Einstein,... but fucking hell

  • Sony, the MPAA, and the RIAA are so greedy it makes me sick. Thank god for resilient sites like The Pirate Bay, who won't shut down or take a torrent down if the RIAA sent them a fine for 5 billion dollars. Also, these verdicts don't do anyone any good. Its unconstitutional (8th Amendment) to fine someone that much for a few songs, just to increase deterrence in people sharing music and software. Guess what, RIAA? The deterrence ain't deterring me or anyone else, so suck it!

  • so a $1 song = suffering of $750 to $150,000 yet they still drive around in ten different cars a day!

  • If you sued everyone in this country that download illegal content; half the country would have to file for bankruptcy then most people wouldn't be able to buy music cd's or go to concerts anyways because they would be bankrupt. By the way most people I've talked to have downloaded illegal content.

  • You can just imagine a world with the RIAA / MPAA / CRIA running it, with widespread Extortion and Racketeering activities directed at threatening the population to giving them more money.

  • Stop buying any music / movies associated with the RIAA / MPAA and those scumbags.

  • Thats just un-fair... Music shouldn't be bought, (sorry for sounding a little 70s) but "The Man" is charging people money to hear a beat, and vibration which isn't right. Artist make money with Live Concerts, not as much from CDs, and look, it takes $1.00 to make a CD and putting the music is nothing it takes seconds to make a new hunderd, so were up to like maye $3.00 witht he music, CD, recoding cost and worker cost (per CD) and they sell it for $15.00...

    Real Fair.

  • RIAA's motto is like the opposite of Googlel, their motto is: "Always Be Evil".

  • Fuck the RIAA i hope they all burn in hell for the shit they pull. Fuck them and fuck the parents that had them....

Go joel im glad that you are fighting those greedy fuckers, You will come up on top in the long run and they but get it bit in the fucking ass by karma.

They are instigators who say things and then retract them. FUCK YOU SONY BURN IN HELL!

  • I would like to applaud Joel Tenenbaum's response on CNN when interviewed. Joel, you owned that fruitcake news anchor. He was clearly biased since he has friends in the music industry. You seem highly intelligent and well-spoken. I'm rooting for you.

  • That's all the Havard Law professor could come up with? He's going to have a hard time convincing the judge that when hundreds of people can download the file from his computer for about a $.99 loss per song in the music industry that a $350 fine per song is unfair.
