I saw her last Tuesday in Green Bay and talked with her afterwards. She is so sweet and funny. Got her autograph on her picture I printed at home and framed it. Her voice is so charismatic and pure!!! The whole show was better than on TV - not so nervous and having a ball doing the tour for all. David Cook was fantastic. Hope you get to see them and especially Carly - The Irish Queen!!!

Yeah, I never had listened to Evanescence. The was until I heard Carly say she was going to do this song on the Idols Live tour and then I downloaded the video off a torrent and listened/watched it a gazillion times in preparation for the tour. Amy Lee is really cute too, which didn't hurt. lol! Carly actually sings this song with more fidelity to the studio version than Amy does live, which seems a bit nuts but that is what I've found.

i just saw her tonight...i knew i recognized the song, but i couldn't think of the title or who sang it...i don't really listen to Evanescence much, but I always thought that Carly had a very Evanescence feel to her singing, so i find this kinda ironic. :) haha

I never really liked her on the show. I knew she was talented but I thought she often seemed too loud and screechy. But seeing her live was AMAZING! Her vocals NEED a big venue and television did them no justice. Girl is gonna be a STAR and I'm a new fan, for sure!!!!
