Many people think that Jesus sprang into existence only at his birth with Mary. That was the creation of his earthly body but not the creation of his spirit.

Many References in the Old Testament tell that Jesus was Jehovah - The God of Old Testament and 2) his life and mission were known to the Prophets of the Old Testament though many of the obvious references were removed.

Killing the Lamb at Passover and putting Lambs blood on the door is part of the symbolism - the Lamb of God.

How could there possibly be symbolism having to do with Jesus in the OLD TESTAMENT? Jesus hadn't been born yet, and wouldn't be for another 2 MILLENNIA! Passover isn't about looking FORWARD to the Messiah whose identity has yet to be revealed--it's about gratefully commemorating what G-d did for us in the past.
