Iran as a country has definitely been around the longest of all countries, not just archaeologically, as I stated before, but also as a nation that is still called Iran today which translates into "land of the Aryans" a name used for it in the ancient times as well, so it's both technically and literally one of the oldest. And they can fund their own nuclear program because they do have billions in cash reserves from oil. But again, this is unproductive money. and when the oil runs out or countries stop buying because of alternative enrgies beinf created Iran will colapse. They will have nothing to fall back on.

Are you trying to say that America takes countries with oil? And as far as your comment about Iran being the oldest country you are very mistaken. It is pretty much common knowledge that the countries of Inia and Eygpt are the oldest. Some Hindu writings go back 6000 years. The first known permanent settlements appeared over 9,000 years ago while in Iran, also known before the 1930's as Persia have settlments dating back only 7000 years.

Iran indeed has the oldest civilization, the Jiroft civilization and the Elamites (who were Iranians) pre-date both the Egyptians and the Indians. The Persian race is older than the ice age. It's laughable that you suggest Iran is "one of the most isolated economies in the world" when it's the worlds 2nd largest supplier of oil. Compare Irans inflation from 30 years ago to now and you'll see it's improving extremely fast from the American coup staged in that country (Operation Ajax).

Never denied the existence of other ancient races, just refuting your statement about Egypt/India etc. having an older civilization. You should also know about migration and how civilizations work. You'll notice that "Iranian/Persian" is not the only name for that specific race, and they appear throughout almost all time under different names, Jiroft/Elamite are a couple of them. Scythians, for example, which may be the origins of the Irish, were an Iranian tribe.

Also, a lot of Irans assets are not public or included in the rankings. That's why you see various U.S/U.N-funded economic polls that place Iran low, yet their global impact on the worlds economy is huge. Example: They're supposedly ranked at "most isolated" yet have the ability to fund and operate their own nuclear energy program. Contradictions like this are what makes me question statistics regarding Iran.

India and Egypt are not the oldest. The first civilizations cropped up between eastern Turkey and eastern Iran, which includes modern day Syria, Iraq .
India and Egypt both developed writing and agriculture after the fertile crescent.
New findings have suggested that the first signs of 'civilization' may have arose in Iran before any where else. There are also a lot of very old sites in Eastern Turkey (and North Western Iran).
