  • Every cash register is different right?

  • @Kayonmangement Every cash register model is slightly different, but all old registers like these work generally the same.

  • @AssociateAdvocate79 Some people actually need jobs to pay for college. I graduated high school with high honors and I am in college...yet I use one of these every day of my life.

  • what about taxes?

  • I have this same register in my store and I don't know how to put the store's name on the reseit can u help me?????

  • this one really helped

  • People who graduate high school don't need to know this.

  • @AssociateAdvocate79 Actually they do lol.

  • @AssociateAdvocate79 actually who learns to do cash registers in high school? huh? who? and what high school in what city? i sure didn't learn how to use a register at my high school.

  • @AssociateAdvocate79 WTF? They didn't teach me this in high school.

  • Double zero? What is this roulette?

  • the blue buttons on the right are for what department you are in. I learned this is my Retailing class at school.

it will be different for where you work but for me it was If the person is buying anytthing food related you would press the #1 blue button. If the person was buying any clothes you would press the #2 blue button. etc etc

  • what's the blue button to the right suppose to mean?

someone elaborate! i sucked at being a cashier at my last job.

  • LOL The funniest part is at 0:37. "Then you press the double zerrrrooooo" LOL

  • how did you spend your Tuesday?

oh you know, just watched a load of 'How to use a Cash Register' videos

    yay

  • but what if the price is cents not dollars like in my store price is 55 cents do you still put 55 or 5.5??

  • these are some stupid questions but, what if what they're buying is $5.25 do you just hit five two five? or is there a decimal button you hit before the 25?:o

  • @LiliputLemonade Most Sharp cash registers only need you to enter 525 to get 5.25.

  • @HTPtheFirst

    thank you!(:

  • lol, thank you very much for the upload, I have NEVER operated a cash register and always wanted to learn how, it doesn't sound/look to hard :)

  • what's the difference between the blue button that says 2 and the blue button that says 1?

  • @dabigdeesta I assumed that was quantity, but I'm not sure.

  • how do i lower the taxes...

  • the blue button, the large button, the FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

  • @NoobsAreUsh LOL

  • you're not explaining what the blue button is for..

  • @Misstinysh

She didn't explain what ANY of those buttons were for.

  • @Misstinysh the blue buttons add the decimal in. And when you make change you do not hit the blue buttons because thats how the register differentiates between prices and customer money. The green button is the cash button, which opens the drawer to make change and put the money in the register.
