I visited Seattle for the first time this last summer, and it is soooo beautiful! I'm from Tucson, and it sucks there compared to Seattle. The awesome Puget Sound, Olympic Mountain Range, San Juan Islands, and if you drive literally 2 hours East, your in a high desert, covered in apple orchards.

I live literally on the other side of the world now. I was born and raised in beautiful Seattle. I've also had the good fortune to own a beautiful home in Liberty Lake, a new suburb of Spokane, Wa. for 16 years. You could rightly say we "got the best of both cities and scenery that Washington State has to offer!! We always say, "God worked overtime" when he created Washington' states beauty!

@p3pp3r01 no way! same story here for me, i lived ther but moved to san antonio, i actually kinda miss seattle, it be nice to see a beautiful landscape or building that isnt covered by graffiti done by a bunch of posers and hipsters, but san antonio is ok, but austin is like my seattle away from seattle, its kinda the same but more hipsters, more music, but no ocean views or pike place =/
@sexhaie i know ryte??? here in san antonio there's waaay to much graffiti and posers nothing like seattle- i agree 100% that austin is seattle away from seattle very book smart, good coffee and music, plus there's a good amount of intelligent environment friendly people...

@tubaplayer67 The one "good" thing (to me) about San Antonio is that at 5'10", I was a GIANT in San Antonio, where it seems that everyone is 4' tall and 3' wide... (I'm from Seattle.)

I'm moving from San Antonio to Seattle. ive only been there once for 5 days. I moved enough as a kid so i did not want to move at all but when i got to seattle it was such a beautiful place i instantly thought "i wouldn't mind living here" i was only there 5 days but enjoyed it alot. my mind was blown at the fact that someone let me in when i put my blinker on lol. drivers are assholes here.
@cantugabe as a fairly new transplant to Seattle (from Dallas) I was definitely pleased by how courteous the drivers are, but I wish slow drivers would stop using the passing lanes on the left!! That's really my only complaint though, I like it here. One thing that shocked me about Washington state is that if you drive two hours west of Seattle onto the peninsula you are in rain forest (like where Twilight is), and if you drive two hours east of Seattle across the mountains you are in a desert.
@MrPenguin2221 lol, is it a coincidence or something? Me too and many of my friend are either leaving Dallas to go there or already have arrived...My goal is to get out of d-town and up to seattle or Tacoma area, to grow madical marijuana (legally) and go to school for ethnobotany, and of course enjoy the beauty...
