  • Its Al Gore's fault . Progressives created fear in man made global warming . Its true only because a progressive says so . No lets not have a debate . Every success Al Gore has ; every Legislation written is a direct attack on the price of oil . This is the reason gas and everything else is more exspensive . All these new much more exspensive ideas . They do not mind that an equal amount of pollution to make it than what is currently used .Enviromentalism and Progressivism has broken us .

  • BUY NO GAS ON 9/11/11 On 9/11/11, we begin the process of taking back control of our great nation. On that day, a nation-wide boycott of all gasoline stations will reduce demand to levels that will force the puppet-masters and oil investors to take notice. The boycott will occur on the 11th day of each month thereafter, until prices are changed and Americans aren't paying their paychecks on gas just to get to work and back. DON'T BUY GAS ON 9/11/11 SPREAD THE WORD!!!

  • @nickmax2221 It falls on a sunday . Do you really think anyone will notice or media event will make a differance . Vote out the Dinosaurs the Progressives the plantaton owners . Take back control of the Goverment .

  • fuck this music

  • They're about to plow us all over. whatever the real reasons are, it doesnt matter, we're all done for. I'm throwing in the towel. the racket of govt and oil combo know they have everyone and everything by the balls. They have no morals, they were handed the power and have the power. there's many hands in the pot. You think american stock holders want to see the price come down? If your neighbor is an oil shareholder, he doesnt give a fuck about you, he gives a fuck about how his stock

  • @sauce2034 DON'T LET THE LAME STEAM LIE TO YOU ANY MORE . TEA PARTY IS ABOUT FISCAL SANITY NOT BEHOLDING TO ANY GROUP

  • If the excuses we've been given for the rise is prices this time are really the reason, the price should have been falling as soon as Japan had an earthquake and tsunami, they're the 3rd largest users so we're told, I'm sure they're use has fallen drastically, so why is gas holding steady at these high prices. It wouldn't matter if the oil companies could drill anywhere they want, the prices would still be high, the reason is greed, plain and simple.

  • @tibeau2220 actually they recently used some of the aftershocks in Japan as yet another excuse to cover up the real reasons. I found it rather amusing that they simply find every event in the world as a reason to announce a raise in oil. regardless of what the real reasons are we're all fucked b/c these people wont give on this. It costs me $700 just to work! Thanks guys!

  • I think its our government at work. Those greedy ba$tards can't stop taking our hard earned money.

  • i live in central pa the highest i have ever seen it was 3.85 in 2008 now its about 2.89

  • One of US goals in Iraq (and in the region) was to shut off the supply of oil in order to raise the price. Since it's demoninated in dollars, this also raises the "value" of what is really only a petro-dollar (not backed by gold or silver anymore). As long as oil is sold in dollars, US banks profit. Saddam threatened US hegemony by selling oil in Euros, and by rejecting OPEC quotas... unforgivable independence in US eyes.

  • I agree wit you on that. Some people still believe that it was because of Osama Bin Laden

  • in uk it now £1.09 per litre atm

  • I know lets think about this if gas prices go higher it will not help the econmy. Food electric Jobs Big oil think about what you are doing to us. Before we start drilling in USA we need fixed oil prices.

we can start by .05 cents a gallon and max 1.00 per gallon. Then lets see if exon wants to drill for our oil. Oh and no selling out side USA.

  • its about £0.95 per liter in the Uk ATM ...

    unleaded ;)

  • Ride a bike!

  • YES. Great advice!!!

  • Comment removed

  • $1.55 here in MD, but don;t come here, we got the worst drivers and the cost of living is really high.

  • There are just too many cars on the road! Simple as, just look at the sheer volume of traffic around the world in every town & city & realise just how much petrol is needed. It can only get worse.

  • I live in the UK and its about £1.00 a litre, which is just under $2.00, I've noticed the price dropping slowly thought

  • god what shit music

  • 2.00 in nj

  • rofl $1 litre ftw :O

  • $2.00 In MD

  • Fuel in the UK has dropped a lot too, it's very cheap now at around $6 a gallon but during the fuel shortage it shot up to $14 a gallon! America has always had cheap gas, even if it doubled, it would still be cheaper than ours.

  • its becouse of the rich mans greed and the war in iraq didn't help either it has been rising ever since but oil prices our crashing along with our economy

  • You walk. But get out of my way or I will run your gas conserving ass over with my gas guzzling truck.

  • What is that some kind of joke or threat? Do u have a road rage problem?

  • Look at my latest video and you'll see the TRUTH about why the gas prices are so high!

  • thanks BP

  • one reason oil is high is because when they invaded iraq they cut the supply of oil from iraq off to raise prices and have more control of market same thing in afghanistan with the opium they destroyed it all and now people have to buy some man made opium its all about getting rid of competitors controlling markets for own selfish greedy purposes

  • Yeah corporate manipulations, speculators, greedy little ego maniacs.

  • If you knew anything, you'd know that the Beijing Olympics had a lot to do with the sudden rise in gas prices. The Chinese have been using so much gas and oil to construct all the buildings for the Olympics that the day they finished construction was the same day that the price of oil fell by $20 a barrel and is still falling.

    You don't know jack shit.

  • rubbish. who told you that?

  • It was in the NY Times, they don't often make up things.

  • the ny times lies just as much as any other media organ. they just are more sophisticated about it..

  • @bluezinc no waaay.

  • @MysterEy1 Great argument. You win!

  • maybe u should have walked from wyoming to pennsylvania, or do you just want everybody else to take the high prices as an incentive, while you drive on by? seems like you didn't even know it, but you stated a big reason for the high rices @ 01:55- "look at that cornfield". THAT'S IT! see the stickers on the gas pumps you used? "contains ethanol", probably from that field!

  • i talk the talk and i walk the walk, bud. actually i am walking more often now. i enjoy it. it makes me happy.

  • is $2.50 now in indiana

im so happy about that and is still going down

  • this is lame.

gas is raising from inflation... too much money supply through the Fed and government spending. it's not magic... spend more than you have, and print more money for what you don't have. It's stupid. It makes prices rise. Everyone knows this.

  • if thats true then the middle class would not be suffering too!even some rich people are complantinig like tboon pickens!

  • the middle and lower class suffers the most because we don't get access to the early government spending (because we don't provide the services and get paid by the government) and we don't borrow the money from the loose credit at the same rates and levels that the rich do. They get to spend the money before the prices rise. by the time our wages increase, they've already pushed prices up.

all the easy money's going into prices.

  • Whats so bad about inflation and why is it really hurting you?

  • @tatomuck18 Well, I guess we should differentiate. What we have is, Man Made Inflation. The reason for it is, the Fed prints money and gives it to bankers. The prices go up for things because there's more money chasing the same amount of goods. So prices rise because they print money and spend it, but we don't get to print money and spend it. We're stuck with higher prices and the same amount of money.

  • @rhysqqq yes, the people who control the economy and the gas prices are greedy and evil.

  • blam the fucking white man!

  • Might solve the problem temporarily.

  • anyone kno phillips oil????.......their 250 billion dollar profit in the first quater......thats 250 billion dollar profit in 3 fuckin months.........and they say.."theirs more money to be made"

  • greediest bastids on the planet. speculators they call them now. Capitalism out of control.

  • VERY GOOD!!!!!

  • Thanks FOREX.

  • those gas prices are low compared to californias, on average, the lowest gas price is like 4.50. and diesel is like 5.10

  • I hear dat. I just had been driving east from California!

  • Look up lindsey williams on you tube. He says that the world bank and IMF control the price of oil.

  • It's very possible that they have a haevy influence on it.

    Who is Lindsey Williams?

  • 1:45, isn't it just lovely?

  • It sure was. Sure is every time I see sights like that.

Whenever I turn away from the computer screen. lol

  • Expect gas to be 170 a barrel by end of summer

    Sad but True

    Sandra

  • Interesting prediction.

  • woah, sandra. We shall see. What is at presently? I havent been keeping track.

  • A month ago gas was $4.58 over here in California...now it's $4.47. I hope it keeps going down.

  • Optimistic. Let us know if it keeps gong down. Or if it goes up.

  • it does fluctuate. it is not a constant rise. But after awhile it will be rising again!

  • well in good old england we pay £1.32 per litre for diesel and £1.19 per litre for petrol(4star?)

yes pounds not dollars and yes litres not gallons

  • A litre is how much of a gallon? It's less isnt it? Way less. I think there are 4 liters in a gallon, correct?

  • Maybe john reagan can help me get this to the most discussed, since I would really like to have that superficial honour! A moment in the sun!!!

  • It's awesome all the protests that are starting up around the place. It's going to be a hot summer. People are pissed.

  • Sure is worth discussing.. I say it must be seen as part of the bigger picture.

  • well done MysterEy1, you have begun the utubian war on lies that we all need right now.

  • It's the Doctor in the house! Thanks. If you want to call it Utubian you certainly can! I am taking some time off from the community group proper, as you may have heard. So I will not be using the word directly, for the next month or 2. Possibly longer, depending on what happens in the grand scheme of Utubia.

  • Yep, yep, YEP!

  • That's 3 yeps! Thanks.

  • With gas prices being around $3.95 and it goes up every 20 minutes or so...very sad state of affairs and our U.S. economy -not much better. We didn't realize we had it so good--a few years ago-when it was $1.39 per gallon...where are those good ole days, huh?

  • Oh those good ol days. I remember when.. I used to pay way less than a dollar a gallon. But that is when the US dollar was worth a lot more!

  • i hope everybody likes bicycles.

  • LOL they have to now!

I love your comment because it just may help get people out on their bikes.

  • 4.70 her e=(

  • Holy crow, that's higher than I've paid as of yet. I think 4.50 is my personal limit. Until i go postal!!

  • 5*!

  • Thanks Ul!

  • Well, these prices are lucrative to oil industries (& I hate to admit that because I lean capitalist), but Obama has shown no desire to seek lowering them either, since the exorbitant cost of fuel may be conducive to his plans of social engineering.

We need to get around to voting all these bums out of office.

But one good idea that would get Congress's attention would be for us halt cross-country shipping. Yeah it would hurt, but the people would become riled enough to make politicians listen

  • That's an interesting view, Quart. But the never-ending disatisfaction with politicians is only part of the story. It's the runaway capitalism.

I just made a few videos about my philosophy. I think capitalism needs to be placed under more CONTROL. It cannot be laissez faire democracy, hands off by the republic. The consumers can only influence things in a small way. short of bloddy revolution.

  • ack... that had to be recent... i live in Nebraska and it was actually at 3.81 until like a day or two ago. ugg... seeing it at $3.999-$4.085 just about gives me heart failure. I wonder where in Eastern Nebraska you filled up, because i'm in Omaha, and it's only at $3.999, and hasn't hit $4.000+ as far as i know. (ugh, but 3.999 is only a penny less.) intriguing and daring video... im surprised you even dared to drive across the country with gas prices this high.

  • If I recall correctly, it was just around Lincoln Nebraska.

i had to get across the country. It was reality. It isn't something I do every year though. Maybe it happens like that once every 7 years.

And well the gas stops werent all that pleasant when dealing with the pinch in my wallet!

  • i feel your pain! i do! i had to skip my vacation this year because gas prices and airline prices are ridiculous... and painful.

  • Sorry to hear about that, alisavalley. I know that many people are giving up their traditional vacation plans. People are having to change their lifestyle.

I trust that each person is going to come up with something better - we dont need to depend on the oil economy.

  • my worry is that our country will feel that we are already too dependant on oil that they'll opt to digging the Alaskan Wilderness for oil over finding another fuel source.

  • Well we certainly should prevent any more ruination of the environment. I advocate protecting the wild regions that are still intact!!

  • gas will lower by the year of 2012. just believe me! i'm 100% sure

  • Maybe. Or in 2012, many of us won't even be using the same technology. There will be new possibilities.

  • If by "gas will be lower" you mean that zeveral key natural gas fields will be heavily depleted, then yeah.

If you mean gasoline will be cheaper, then most likely not. Gasoline comes from oil and we've pretty much peaked as far as oil production goes, so the only way gas will be cheaper than it is today is if the world economy implodes and nobody can afford to buy the stuff, driving down price of what oil they are able to produce.

  • If you think gas prices are bad now, you haven't seen anything yet.

Read up on petroleum production and Peak Oil. Specifically, the difference in production rates between light and heavy crudes.

Light, fast flowing, easy to produce and refine oil has made up 90% of world oil production to date and it's just about gone. All that's left is the sulfurous, heavy, slow to produce stuff.

Even when we find large new reserves of oil, it doesn't help much since it's nearly all slow, heavy crude.

  • Yes, more research is good. I've been absorbing some of it over time. But I still would not know exactly where this is all headed. Maybe the crisis is good. Forces people to change. And appreciate the other things in life.

  • Great PSA, Mr.E. We took in a second paper route (adjoining) and now go about 100 mi./day, sometimes more, just on the two routes. I also improved gas mileage on the Suzuki, but I haven't got an accurate count yet. Should do above 40 mpg now. I AM. MR. GAZZZGUZZLER, YIKES! Rebel without a clue...

  • Thanks for watching. And taking part in this PSA, sir!

It seems that your particular job relies upon driving. You can make it more efficient and then you will ave a clean conscience.

But you know we are going to have another system to develop and use in the next few years.

    The so called alternative!

  • The elitists put the squeeze on the American public the same way decades ago. Your suggested solution was one I was doing for years and now some people I know are doing the same thing.

To think... myself (the "crackpot") is right AGAIN! MUAHAHAHA!

  • When I was in Mexico 2 years ago gas was already over $4 American there. I saw A LOT of people riding bicycles. Gas prices and inflation in general are all about keeping people poor and less mobile. It's easier to control a population if they are confined to small areas (i.e. - high gas prices = less travel).

  • I agree, In Canada same thing I am so shocked at the prices.

We are paying $1.49 per litre and they are trying to convince us we pay the least in the World well......

    Excellent video.

    Thanks

    Tina

  • they think we are fools 5* like the old school pumps remember the free days slaves for them lol

  • I read somewhere that gas in Paris is close to $10 a gallon.

  • I think there are alot of bicycles as well but I don't know for sure

  • I think it is at least 10 US$. It may be up to 10 EURO$ though. In any case, its a bit higher than the US still.

  • great video!!!! I love the music too :)

    greetings

  • Where I live (in western NY) gas ranges from about $4.05 all the way up to $4.40 per gallon. It's amazing how gas prices can vary in one metropolitan area and it's also amazing how one gas station will charge 20 cents more per gallon than the one just down the street.

Mobil/Exxon stations consistently have the highest gas prices in my region.

  • by law the highest price for gas can be minimum (sp?) wage. . .

  • I never heard that one. Is it a federal law?

  • wow... how come everyone has lower gas prices than me?

  • It seems that way doesn't it?

  • They've said to expect $10 per gallon soon, and like it.

  • Well I've heard Europeans cannot stand Americans complaining. For years, they've been paying more for gas than we have been.
