Hey, Pixel Dan. I was just wondering: why is it that you have never reviewed any of the Egon Spengler figures in the 6-inch line? I know you've reviewed the one in the TRU 4-pack, and the massive 12-inch one that came packed in with Peter Venkman, but you haven't reviewed your SDCC slimed Egon or your "Ready to Believe!" Spengs with the Grey Lady. There's also a clean, un-slimed figure with the PKE meter. Just pointing it out! Thanks! :)
It looks cool, but I bought the main 4 guys. Unless Matty does anything different with this line I don't see the reason for it to continue. I'm hoping to be wrong but the signs are all there for this line to be ending.
Pixel Dan, at 0:23 & 0:42 it clearly says "Ghostbusters II" on the bubble. I hope that was just an issue you had for your figure. ... That was an early review sample, right?
Regardless of that, thanks for the review. I was on the fence about this figure and now I'm leaning more in the direction of "wait for a sale or just skip it."
Thats a nice Ghostbuster's figure. I do like the info chart they have on Peter Venkman . I did laugh at the Ghost Sniffer . Taxi Cab ghost does look pretty cool. I do like how they put it on thing to hold it up.
I think this is the year for RAM-Man! I think the art work was a hint. I also think when he is released he will be big but have a snap off lower section kinda like they did King Hiss but with legs instead of the torso part. This way u could display him as either the vintage with the spring looking legs or snap on the other set and have him look more 200x. I know im way off subject but just finally got my star sisters shipment notice and was thinking what other figures could still be announced.
dude i think your wrong because the camera is from the libary scene the toy line isnt that bad it just the fans fell off a logn time ago when they kept denying them a 3rd movie
@TheShaolinScholar The reason I've never bought any Mattel Ghostbusters is because they're not on the same scale as the Kenner toys. They're useless to me if they can't fit in the old vehicles and tower over all the ghosts/monsters like Dracula and the Frankenstein monster. I would like to have all the cool ghosts the new figures come with, but the sets are way overpriced. I can understand paying $20,$30, or $40 for a vintage figure, but these are brand new!
@TheShaolinScholar May be they wouldn't cost so much if they didn't waste time with all that articulation. A figure just needs to have four points to move it's arms up and down and sit. A lot of these figures today with their 20 points of articulation can't even sit down! If Mattel would put out a set with just the ghosts (including the translucent Slimer) I would definitely buy it.
RIP matty GB line. such wasted potential

I just noticed the packaging says Ghostbusters II, but it's a GB1 figure.

I think Mattel should reduce the price when there are re-used parts! I mean, nothing on this toy is newly sculpted except the ghost!

Thats a packaging flaw, it says ghostbusters 2 on the front!
