@NarutoFan395 How can you not?? Thee original was good, but no where as good as this version. This has that NY underground vibe. This is raw. This is real hip hop.......This is what REAL rapp was about......
@nicomell1 i dontknow if i can say that i mean this remix is extremely dope but the grimyness of the original just the intro sends chills up your spine. I would have to say they're tied
@TrackfiendsEnt Honestly, you can not compare the two. This version is more of a hip hop sound/vibe. Thee original is gully and raw..More like rapp...This has more of a hip hop sound...They are both great versions and I enjoy them both...
I cry when I hear this. This takes me back. I know that hip hop and rapp will never be the same. This was durin the time that rapp and hip hop were revolutionizing the world. It has not been the same ever since. Lil wayne, Kanye, black eyed peas, are all gay! Go back and listen to wu tang, big pun, old jay-z, naughty by nature, biggie, tupac, rakim, souls of mischief, old nas, tribe called quest, or lords of the underground.Only then will you know what real hip hop and rapp is..
This ain't the full remix. last verse missing. Prodigy."I'm puttin holes in your body like your pores at a party and drown your open wounds with Bacardi. Crazy as it seems my mind every thug dream kill em clean and leave the murder weapon at the crime scene.....
i love this version with the singing vocals on it . . .mobb deep was known for puttin hood ass chicks on their songs choruses and the vocals were usually amateur and sonically dirty which at times can add to the grimy appeal but other times just sounded novice and poorly mastered. but this track . . the vocals are more professional sounding . . mad reverb on the vocal riffs. Beat is hot but the ORIGINAL is the best to me hands down! (true vintage mobb deep fan)
Don't get me wrong, this shit is ill, but nuthin is like the original. i mean, i listened to this album when it 1st came out in the 90's and the original will always remind me of skatin, goin on money and weed missions, gettin high and bent in closed schoolyards and staircases back when we were a bunch of snott-noses! nothin compares. i mean, the drums are still ill in this remix, but the rest CAN'T compare to the original... PERIOD!
@MikeTysonEatsKids shit, i wish i was born in the late 70's or early 80's so i could grow up listen to this masterpiece but i was curse to born in 93'
It is...in fact i rekon its one of Havoc's best production...Crystal Johnson's vocals are mesmerizing on this shit (she was the one who also guest appeared on Temperature's Rising)
ill ill ill song!!! one of my favorite remixes all time. i am not gonna say i like this better then the original cause they are both mad hot, but no matter what, i love old mobb deep!!!!!
Beat is sick and darker than the original!! Gotta love Havoc son.
