  • wilson started his career as a humble walk-on in top gun in the very homophobic volleyball scene...from there he had some drug and alcohol problems but resurrected his career in cast away. way to go wilson!!

  • wilson's still alive .....i saw him at the fox studio. in hollywood.....thank's to my uncle who work's there

  • If you look at the story.. Wilson was what kept the character sane through the years.. People really need social interaction and the volleyball was the best substitute.

  • RIP Wilson

  • If you didn't see the movie and would watch this seen only you would thing Wilson was a human being. Lot of emotion over a volleyball.

    Classic movie!

  • Wow, I wish my toaster had a camera.

  • For some reason this is incredibly funny

  • I saw this at the theater, and when this scene played, I broke out in an unrestrainable peal of laughter. Everyone in the nearby seats all looked at me with a sort of "you jerk" look.

  • What kind of toaster did you use to record this?

  • cant stop laughing lol

  • yep.. i cried watching that scene.

  • I cried over a vollayball

  • I can't believe I feel sorry for a volleyball... :(

  • forever alone

  • I think they threw the ball in the sea after filming the movie :D, so that someone finds it someday eventually.

  • wiiiiiiiiiilllllllllllssssssoooooonnnnn

  • lmao wilsonnnn !

  • And we all felt the same way when we had to burn our friend the Companion Cube.

  • Bitty!

  • Wilson should have won a lifetime achievement award

  • wilson was the only thing that kept him from going mad on that island, and in order to leave the island completely, he had to let go.

  • I cryed like a pussy...

Ah btw in the ending there was a volleyball in the car, I can say that was Willson :)

  • Wilson!!!

    Wilson!!!

    My name is voit dumbass

  • The thing about this scene is that while you're watching it, you know it's absolutely ridiculous, yet that just somehow makes it even more tragic. Something like a volleyball can only have as much meaning as a person gives it, so this scene really shows how much of himself Chuck really gave to his friend. How can you not be at least a little moved?

  • I cry every time it is so heartbreaking.

  • RIP Wilson. :(

  • sorry but i laughed at this scene so hard, is that bad?

  • @Wollmilchsau1337 No some people might find it funny, after all he's been through it, it was like his best friend and it just left him.

  • This is probably a scene we'd see if Johnny 2x4 ever loses Plank to the ocean...

  • lol its a volleyball that is in no way sad its an abiotic object non-living

  • @jay40211 Chuck put his blood and his emotion on it. See the point?

  • why THE FUCK is this not on the tom hanks soundboard. all of this. seriously

  • wilsoooon!!!

  • I forget, why's he saying I'm sorry?

  • @facecycle He can't swim out and grab Wilson. Also because he fell asleep and didn't notice Wilson drop in.

  • Comment removed

  • @chrissywissy321 WE CAN CURE CANCER NOW! (jk)

  • i have to admit i cried!

  • The Oscars are biased against Volleyballs. Wilson should have been nominated for best supporting actor.

  • @09tranm

what are you talking about, tom hanks was wilsons supporting actor

  • @insanebadger84 hahahahaha lol nice.

  • Ur all alone now.

  • wilson symbolized home for him, when he lost wilson he realized the only thing he had left in his world was gone and he abandoned all hope.. One of the all time sad parts in a movie hands down.

  • FEAR THE BEARD!!!! WILSON!!! 2010 WORLD SERIES CHAMP!

  • WILSOOOONNNNNN!!!! HHAHAHA I always loved this part, made my laugh everytime. WILSON is what I screamed EVERYTIME Brian Wilson struck somebody out when the San Francisco Giant's won the World Series.

  • the next scene is true heartbreak. when he's up on the raft cryin his eyes out.i cant imagine how sad he must have been, wilson was the only thing he talked to for four years!

  • WILSOOOOON :D

  • Now i understand why my brother cried when he lost his volleyball.

This scene actually made me cry.

  • In that part I started to cry...

  • was this recorded on a potatoe?

  • @peanutbuttersticky potatoes can generate up to 1.6 V if magnesium is involved, but is unable to handle emotional outbursts, so this could not have been the recording medium.

  • @BlackandBlueMage Portal 2 FTW.

  • @BlackandBlueMage Love the reference great game.

  • probably saddest scene of all time!!!

  • nooooooooooooo

  • Personally, I found Wilson a very wooden and unresponsive character!

But in someones charming as well

  • WILSOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wilson was his only friend :(

  • I came closer to crying for Wilson and his buddy in this movie than I have for 95% of the tearjerks scenes I've seen.

  • omg we found wilson in Ireland :O It was a ball that had wilson in the side of it, and it was on a beach :DDDD

  • Wilson you DAWG

  • thumbs up if when your going on a cruise out in sea your going to look for wilson. :)

  • wait.. this is an volleyball... why im i sad again?

  • @vuferen

cause u get atached and things tht seem like inanamet objects become real life people

  • @vuferen Because you did the human thing and placed your self in Tom hank's shoes and shared the pain of losing something you love. its Natural.

  • @mortierox *sniff* WILSON!!!

  • soo sad, wilsoon =``````````(

  • never thought i would cry for a volleyball...

  • I will admit and not be ashamed I cried in this scene. We got a look in Tom's eyes in the movies and almost felt like wilson was really a friend. I was little and I remember happy when at the end, he got a new friend called Wilson (a new ball). But this scene was too powerful for words!

  • @nureallycool that connection between us and wilson was so strong because we witnessed tom talking to a volleyball, and it suddenly had a personality. ;). then he has a row with it and throws it out, and then runs out after it.

  • only Hanks could pull of crying over a lost volleyball friend

  • @slye1991 well imagine yourself 4 years on an island all alone, you gota be a little bit crazy to survive

  • Wilson =(

  • I thought this was really sad... poor wilson and chuck. Unfortunately the quality is shit.

I was laughing at the end of the titanic when the girl was on the floating piece and was complaining it's cold and leonardo dicaprio is blue and freezing to death. Stupid insensitive bitch.

  • The quality is terrible!!

  • Wilson.. :"(

  • wilson is my favourite character i gave up on this movie after he died

  • fucking video made from a fucking calculator

  • i was able to go trough titanic without a tear, yet i was criying my eyeballs out when chuck lost wilson!

  • Saddest movie seen ever I can't even see it cause my tears are clouding my vision :P

  • WILSOOOOOON!!!!!!

  • My name is Wilson, and whenever somebody nags me or something, i say "JESUS, YOU SOUND LIKE TOM HANKS."

  • couldn't wilson just float? i mean he is filled with air...(i haven't seen the movie in soooo long so i don't know if he pops or what, someone remind me)

  • @Maninboxers hes actually not, remember his head is ripped open, so the water could seep in into the fibers and sink him

  • :'(

  • after watching this movie i thought: did i really cry over a volleyball??

  • apparently wilson couldn't swim

  • ahahaahah...

  • that scene made me really sad when i saw it

  • @Mysteriousstranger33

    i know right... :(

  • Wilson...........

  • *headshot*

  • @tomelollol

    "Wilson's boyfriend - Sniper"

  • Never in my life did I expect to cry over a Volleyball.

  • @BriannaDawnc i couldnt agree with your comment any more

  • @BriannaDawnc that was his best friend for a long time this acually happend to some guy in the atlantic not wat ever sea this is in

  • the individual part makes meh sad but i dont cry. when i watch the whole movie i cry. thank got we watched it in parts in class!

  • this is the first movie i have ever watched almost that i cryed. rip wilson...

  • i don't cry during movies, but this was a very sad part of the movie indeed...

  • Did anyone notice Chuck throws away his oars right after this scene? I interpet it as Chuck losing his will to live after Wilson is gone. Agree?

  • @BenHo0003 i agree the only companionship he had for 4 yrs was wilson it was a ball but still you can have attachments to even the smallest of things wilson was probably what gave him the will to live and kept him going! i agree with you wholeheartedly"_

  • i cried at that part

  • @SuperPoopmiester me too. I am crying right now.

  • Wilson! Noooooo! ='(

  • I cried when I saw this part lol

  • I feel sorry for Wilson, I'm going to cry myself to sleep now

  • Damn! Wilson was my favorite character.

  • @VitalSigns1 i do it all the time, YOU'RE not normal

  • @VitalSigns1 Actually, if you were stranded on a deserted island, and there weren't any humans, who would you yell at.

  • @VitalSigns1 lock yourself in ur room for 4 years. chances r u will make friends with the wall!

  • @AwesomeLegoMaster For me, this movie was about the isolation Americans feel, especially in the computer age. As I recall, the human connections back "home" weren't so great -- the FedEx pace of life. A whale saves the life of the castaway and Wilson represented the suffering whales (the face). The Sea World tragedies.

  • @VitalSigns1 if you hadnt already noticed, he was insane by this point.

  • @VitalSigns1 um have u ever seen the movie, if so then u dont catch on to fast do u

  • @VitalSigns1 what the fuk srysly? WATCH THE MOVIE! hes stranded on a island with nobody to talk to for 4 years! YEARS! geez

  • i almost cried watching that scene and i am a manly dude that almost never cries

  • i almost cried watching that scene and i am a manly dude that almost never cries.

  • WILSON!!! I'M SORRY I'M SORRY WILSON!!

Wilson: "Oh my god I'm drifting away chuck!"

    WILSON!!

"Its too late for me Chuck, go on without me "

WILSON IM SORRY WILSON I CAN'T WILSON!!

"Its okay get back safely to Memphis and find kelly tell her you love her, goodbye forever chuck, god bless"

    WILSONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    T_T

  • Only Tom Hanks can make people cry about losing a volleyball...

  • @aaronmh92

    Tom is great actor.

  • @aaronmh92 true
